Leo 1st day collections are unbelievable in all territories and have exceeded all expectations. The mixed reviews and neutral word of mouth didn’t impact the collections and this Lokesh Kanagaraj project created wonders on day 1 in all the territories.

In Telugu states, the movie openings are simply unbelievable, with Rs 15Cr gross. In Karnataka, Leo has established an all-time record opening for a Kollywood movie with 14Cr+ gross. Kerala, traditionally known as Vijay’s strong ground didn’t disappoint as well with an all-time record opening of Rs 12Cr by breaking KGF2 and it was the 1st double-digit opening in Kerala. Tamil Nadu also gave up an all-time opening record gross with around 37Cr by beating his own film Beast.

Coming to the Hindi markets, the film did fairly well and opened with a 4Cr gross. In total, the all-India gross is 82Cr+ and overseas raked in a whopping $8M+ which is an all-time record for Kollywood. Overall, the movie opening is in the range of Rs 150Cr gross which broke the previous Kollywood record by Rs 50Cr+ margin.
