So it gave us a feel that Telugu Cinema has a market of around 6M overseas, excluding Rajamouli films, and only his films have massive potential at the box office. However, Salaar’s numbers proved a huge market for Telugu for non-Rajamouli films. Salaar’s total overseas Gross collection was 15M, and over 10M from those collections came from the Telugu version. 

Salaar is the first Non-Rajamouli film from Tollywood to put such big numbers overseas. Yes, the film’s other languages overseas performance has disappointed the trade, but the Telugu version has performed extraordinarily. 

In North America, the Telugu version’s Gross is 6.5M, an extraordinary feat. In all overseas territories, the Telugu version of Salaar saw excellent numbers. Another crazy film, Guntur Kaaram, is getting released in another six days. If it can put massive numbers in a few overseas territories, then the overseas business for Telugu films will increase a lot.

Now, Hanuman is also facing the same issue regarding theater allocation. Mythri Movies decided to put a large number of single screens under their name, and they are planning to take multiple single screens in Hyderabad in Nizam for lease and will renovate them. 

They want to keep a good number of theatres in their control to rule the single screens. Mythri Movies group is one such production house that always took bold steps, and they are doing the same by taking charge of single screens in Nizam.

Mahesh’s Guntur Kaaram, Teja Sajja’s Hanuman, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, and Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga. Sankranthi Films’ pre-release business and breakeven details are out. 

As said above, four films are being released on Sankranthi in Telugu. Guntur Kaaram is a biggie that did a record pre-business for a regional film and career-best business for Trivikram and Mahesh Babu. The film does 135Cr business.

Venkatesh’s Saindhav and Teja Sajja’s Hanuman [Only Telugu version] business have been done at the same range, and 25Cr is the break-even mark worldwide for them. Naa Saami Ranga’s worldwide breakeven mark is 18 Cr.

All films have done good business for their budgets, and every movie is in a safe position. All films’ nontheatrical business are also closed. All the producers are in a comfortable zone. The movies should achieve the breakeven mark to make all buyers comfortable, and all the producers are expecting high returns as it is the Sankranthi season.
