The Best Web Series (OTT) Award (IFFI) was given to TVF’s Panchayat Season 2 by IFFI at the 54th International Film Festival of India. Panchayat 2, which was introduced in 2023, came out on top in this category.
The narrative of Panchayat centers around an engineering graduate who is compelled to work as a panchayat secretary in the fictional village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh, because of a shortage of job opportunities. The show’s first season premiered on Prime Video in April 2020, with great acclaim, during the Covid lockdown.
