Hero Nithin and talented maker Venky Kudumula joined forces for the second time for a bigger project being made on a larger scale with the leading production house Mythri Movie Makers backing it. The movie is titled Robinhood, and it’s an apt one judging by the glimpse that is meant to introduce the character of Nithiin who treats all Indians as his brothers and sisters so that he feels he has all rights to steal money from them.

Nithiin underwent a stylish makeover, and he looks Uber cool in a modish attire. Director Venky Kudumula depicted a serious scene in his style of entertaining format. Venky who attempted two different subjects in his first two movies is coming up with yet another intriguing project, and he showed his mark in the title teaser cut. The concept video is a unique idea for sure, and he has presented Nithiin in a first-of-its-kind role. This kick-ass title reveal glimpse makes a strong impact. The production design looked grand.
Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are the producers of the movie, which will have a stellar cast in prominent roles and top-notch technicians taking care of different crafts. The movie has music by National Award Winner GV Prakash Kumar, who provided the fascinating score for the glimpse. Sai Sriram handles the cinematography, while Prawin Pudi is the editor and Raam Kumar is the art director.

Both movies did not release at the same time and there was a 2-month gap between them. But once Jailer put such massive numbers at the box office, everyone was keen to see if Leo could cross this. Despite mixed word of mouth, Leo came very close to Jailer.
The Rajinikanth starrer collected Rs 625Cr gross worldwide while Leo ended closer to 600Cr gross. The main reason for Jailer’s victory over Leo was the Telugu numbers where the Rajini film surpassed Leo by double margin. At the Box office, Jailr emerged as the winner. And now at the film’s Television premiere, Leo has emerged as the winner.
Leo’s TRP is 16.3 with 13.1M impressions while Jailer’s TRP is 15.59 with 12.5 Impressions. Both of theses are superb ratings but Leo edged out Jailer by a small margin.

His life is changed when Jaanu, (Manasa Chowdary) a rich girl enters it and comes from a rich family. Her goal is to study abroad and settle there. However, she develops feelings for Aadhi. Due to a small communication gap, Jaanu insults Aadhi and breaks their relationship.
After that, Aadhi decides to take his own path and works towards his goal. What transpires next is the focus of the rest of the film.

In addition to Vicky playing Sam Manekshaw, the film also features Sanya Malhotra as his wife, and Fatima Sana Shaikh portrays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter was the first Bollywood biggie to hit the screens this year. The film couldn’t manage to create the kind of hype the makers would have expected and they hoped that the positive word of mouth could save the film.
Fighter’s advance bookings are very low and the promotional content did not work for audiences. The noon shows started with just around 10% occupancy and the movie received mostly positive reviews and favourable word of mouth.
Normally the biggies take a very big jump in occupancy as the shows progress on the first day but for the Fighter, the jump did not happen. Even the evening and night shows occupancies are just around 20% – 25%. The film’s opening day is expected to be in the range of 20Cr nett in India which is Very disappointing.
Fighter should take a bigger jump on 2nd day with the holiday advantage but if it still fails, then it will surely be a worrying sign for the makers. Tomorrow the film has to take a 100% jump considering the reviews it had. The action drama features an impressive star cast of Hrithik, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor and is directed by Siddharth Malhotra whose earlier film Pathan was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2023.
