On the opening day, Captain Miller had the lead in collections in a big way over Ayalaan and it opened with double numbers than SK’s SCI FI Entertainer. But after that, Ayalaan picked up and trended on the same range of Captain Miller. From the past 2 days it even went to the bigger level and putting massive lead over Dhanush’s periodic action thriller.
Today Ayalaan is doing more than the double of Captain Miller, and it is expected to continue the same trend looking at today’s performance. Ayalaan is expected to hold well at the box office after this weekend as well, whereas Captain Miller is expected to struggle after this weekend.
Ayalaan was on sets for a longtime because of CG works, and finally the unit’s belief is working at the box office. Also, Siva Karthikeyan’s brand in families is a major factor for the film’s success.
