Samantha’s Yashoda is nearing its release and will hit the screens on 11th November. The film’s trailer which was released recently received a terrific response and the audience praised the film’s concept and Samantha’s portrayal of a pregnant woman embroiled in the surrogacy mafia.
Speaking about Samantha and her performance in the film, Krishna Prasad Sivalenka, the producer of Samantha’s Yashoda said that the actress added great scale and value to the project.
“Samantha garu loved the script and she immediately agreed to do it. The scale of Yashoda increased multi-fold after She came on board & she had been an absolute driving force and an inspiration to us ever since. I can say she is like my elder daughter,” said the producer.
“Yashoda started as a Rs 3 crore project and ended up as a 40 crore project as I felt the story had global appeal and it had to be executed on such a magnitude to reach a wide audience,” he added.
The producer also claimed complete confidence in the output of the project. “I was thrilled while listening to the script itself. I think the Surrogacy scam and Samantha essaying the complex character will definitely impress the audience. I felt relaxed after watching the output”
