The actress can be seen in a never-before action-packed and intense role and the visuals by M Sukumar have elevated the feel of the trailer immensely. However, the most interesting part of the trailer apart from Samantha’s performance is a unique concept. The science fiction thriller revolves around the dark underbelly of the surrogacy industry where the rich exploit poor women.
Hareesh Narayan and Hari Shankar have directed this film which also stars Unni Mukundan, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, and Murali Sharma in key roles. Sridevi Movies have bankrolled this project which has been simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil.
Yashoda is Samantha’s comeback to a full-length role in Telugu after Jaanu which was released in 2020. While the actress has won accolades for her special song in Pushpa and was seen in Tamil film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal recently, Samantha’s fans will finally be extremely happy with her in a full-length Telugu role after 2 years.
Yashoda will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam on 11th November.
