Lokesh Tries to Defend Coolie, But

0

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is a talented and star director of South Indian Cinema. However, when it comes to reacting to the criticism of his films, the director throws some unnecessary comments. Lokesh tries to defend his latest film, Coolie, but his remarks have received negative responses.

Lokesh Kanagaraj, in a recent interview, stated that the audiences went to watch Coolie with expectations of it being a part of LCU or containing some sci-fi elements, and that is why they were disappointed after watching the movie.

Lokesh Defends Coolie: Criticizes Audiences

The Vikram director said that he or his team did not mention that it is a part of LCU, nor did they say that it is a sci-fi movie. So, he said that he cannot make the film according to the expectations of audiences.

Surely, Lokesh’s statement appears to defend Coolie, but it seems like again, he is trying to cover the film’s weak points by not accepting his mistakes. Even during the mixed response to the movie Leo, Lokesh Kanagaraj shared similar kinds of statements.

But Lokesh Kanagaraj needs to understand that people did not dislike the film because it was not an LCU film or a scientific one, but they did not like it because they found it flat, dragged, and unengaging, with weak characterizations and especially unnecessary star cameos.

It is widely known that Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu was initially directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, but the filmmaker left the film midway, and it was finished by Jyothi Krishna. The director, Krish, opens up about why he left Hari Hara Veera Mallu in his latest interview.

Krish mentioned that because of his busy schedule, financial issues, and other commitments, he could only contribute partially to Hari Hara Veera Mallu. He also stated that it was important for Pawan Kalyan to fulfill his political desires/aspirations.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Issues Were From My Side – Says Krish

He clearly stated that the issues were from his side and not the other way around. The filmmaker heaped praise on AM Ratnam and said that he is a passionate producer.

The Gamyam director mentioned that forty minutes of the film’s footage, which he shot, was missing from the movie and it was reserved for the second part. Krish shot the scenes that happen after the hero heads to Delhi, and all the scenes were shot in a Darbar set.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu: A Forty Minute Footage Directed By Krish Left For The Second Part Of The Film

The forty minute footage features important scenes, such as Veera Mallu taking a seat on the Peacock throne (Mayoora Simhasanam) after snatching the Kohinoor diamond and throwing down a challenge to Aurangzeb.

The stunts were also great, according to the filmmaker. Krish made it clear to everyone that there were no issues for him with Pawan Kalyan and AM Ratnam, but he had his own reasons to leave Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

No Hopes On Hari Hara Veera Mallu Sequel

PSPK fans and netizens say that if those 40 minutes had been included in the film, then HHVM Part 1 would have been a much better film, and they are also sad as they know that they will not be able to see those scenes now.

Because, after such a disastrous result at the box office, even fans are also not confident that a sequel to Hari Hara Veera Mallu will be made.

Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi will be out in theaters in another two days. While the film’s advance ticket sales are not that great, the fans are hopeful of its success. Meanwhile, the censor board trimmed 100 seconds from Madharaasi.

The team applied with a runtime of 169 minutes and 19 seconds to the censor board, and the CBFC has deleted 1 minute and 46 seconds of footage to allow the U/A certificate, which takes the final runtime of the film to 167 minutes and 33 seconds.

Observing the deleted scenes’ details, we can confirm that the film has a lot of action/violent scenes. The CBFC deleted/replaced many violent/bloody shots in the film,a few of which include children getting involved.

Also, a few cuss words and the names of some northern states have been deleted/replaced. Because of these changes, Madharaasi gets 100 seconds trimmed by the censor board.

Murugadoss Confident About Madharaasi’s Success

While speaking for half an hour at the audio launch, AR Murugadoss showered compliments on Sivakarthikeyan for his commitment and development in cinema. He also expressed a lot of confidence in the film’s potential.

OG Hype Hits New Highs

0

With its first glimpse, Pawan Kalyan’s OG created a huge craze among audiences and fans. Thereafter the posters and the audio took the buzz to the next level. With the special glimpse on Pawan’s birthday today, the hype around OG hits new highs.

Earlier today, the team released a new poster, and just a while ago, a new video glimpse has been released, which introduced the film’s villain character, played by Emran Hashmi, and this video is also very striking.

If a villain’s character is strong, then only the face-off between him and the hero will work big, which the teaser of “The Call Him OG” promises. The fans expect an intense drama between Omi Bhau and OG, the big forces.

Every promotional content piece from OG, especially the posters and visuals, has struck gold. It is a terrific work by Sujeeth, as he was successful in showcasing his idol at his best in every single frame.

With every promotional update, OG’s hype is reaching new highs, and now, this is Pawan Kalyan’s event film and not just a regular commercial one.
