Shocking activities of Jani Master and his wife

Recently, Tollywood’s popular dance choreographer Jani Master was booked by police for sexually assaulting a girl. The victim lodged a complaint against Jani Master and his wife surprisingly for torturing her physically and mentally. This became a sensational news and Jani Master has been on news headlines all these days. The complaint written by the victim revealed shocking activities of both Jani Master and his wife.

The victim, also being a female dance choreographer said that she was forced to marry Jani Master and convert her religion into Islam for this purpose as well. She said that Jani Master’s wife physically abused her in person and demanded her to change her religion so that she could marry Jani Master swiftly. This didn’t go well with netizens who have been trolling the wife of Jani Master badly. They couldn’t imagine the couple intentionally torturing a girl.

Jani Master has not yet spoken about the incident and is currently hiding somewhere without any clues. But he needs to do so much of explaining to come out of this issue. The victim has been working with him for many years and it is also known that she had many proofs regarding the assault of Jani Master over her. So, let’s see how he deals with this.

Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu film is tentatively titled SSMB29: DOP finalised

Tollywood Director SS Rajamouli and Actor Mahesh Babu have both collaborated for a film. Till now, pre-production works have been made and Mahesh Babu too prepared physically for the film by growing hair and beard. Now, the film is officially and tentatively titled SSMB29. This was even used as the title by netizens on social media platforms since long time. Now, DOP for the film has been finalised as well.

P.S. Vinod is coming on board as the DOP for the film. Rajamouli’s regular DOP Senthil Kumar has been omitted. This is really an interesting news of Rajamouli going with P.S. Vinod. The film’s story is also written by Rajamouli’s father V. Vijayendra Prasad. It is also learnt that an update about the film would be out in October mostly on Rajamouli’s birthday.

Fans and Audience suspect that it could be an official press meet which happens before Rajamouli’s film shoot. They have been waiting for this press meet to happen since long time. But we have to know if this press meet would be conducted or not. Some also say that the team might go ahead with direct shoot without a press meet. The shoot is expected to start from the early 2025 targetting 2028 for the release.

Thaman drops exciting updates about singles of OG and Game Changer

Music Director SS Thaman is currently working for two of the most exciting films of Tollywood. OG starring Pawan Kalyan and Game Changer starring Ram Charan are the craziest flicks in his pocket. Thaman recently dropped exciting updates regarding the release of singles of both OG and Game Changer. Fans and Audience have been eagerly waiting for the updates about these two films very badly since long time.

OG’s first single is expected to arrive during the Dussehra season. It was actually planned on Pawan Kalyan’s birthday i.e., September 2nd but due to the unfortunate flooding calamity that shook both AP and Telangana, the plan was dropped then. Coming to Game Changer, the first single has already been released and the second single was greatly anticipated. This single is expected to arrive in the last week of September.

Kanguva faces new release date hurdles

Kanguva starring Suriya is one of the most prestigious projects currently in Kollywood. Yet, it faces many hurdles regarding the release date. The team deciding of arriving on 10th October this year which was spoiled by the plan of Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth. Vettaiyan was also announced on 10th October leading to a direct clash. With this, the team of Kanguva announced the postponement of Kanguva. Still there is no clarity about the new release date.

The team had thought of deciding the release date as November 15th but now Singham Again starring Ajay Devgan is eyeing the same date. Initially Singham Again was planned for Diwali but they have changed their mind it seems. With this, Kanguva again thinks of not going with clash again. The reason behind this is to have a solo release in all languages to cash the success after the release. This is getting disturbed again and again.

The months of December and January are already packed with many biggies and interesting projects. So we have to see how the team of Kanguva reacts on the new release date period. Diwali can be a better choice than postponing the film further to next year’s summer which may kill the hype and expectations due to long postponement.

Stree 2 Collections – Nears $100 M Globally!

Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkumar Rao’s horror comedy Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank (2024) has taken the Hindi belt by storm. Till date, the Amar Kaushik-directorial has grossed over INR 690 crore (INR 583 net) at the Indian box office.

Even in the overseas belt, it minted an impressive $16.35 million (INR 136 crore), thus taking its worldwide gross to a staggering INR 826 crore. This is an exceptional performance for any major feature film in India.

This week, Stree 2 is expected to get past the INR 600 crore net mark and emerge as the No. 1 grosser of Hindi cinema, surpassing Atlee‘s Jawan (2023). In its full run, the film will surely hit the landmark gross of $100 million (equivalent to INR 840 crore). Needless to say, the distributors, followed by exhibitors and producers, will incur huge profits with the film.

Mathu Vadalara 2 achieved breakeven, heading towards huge blockbuster

Mathu Vadalara 2 starring Sri Simha which released recently is rocking the box office. The film drew good audience from the opening day and received a unanimous posititive talk. The film performed stunningly in the first weekend by grossing more than 15 crores worldwide. It maintained strong hold on Monday as well and achieved the breakeven mark. Mathu Vadalara 2 is heading towards a huge blockbuster at the box office.

The film share for 4 days is around 8.5 crores and the gross is also said to be around 18.5 crores worldwide. The film is expected to gross more than 30 crores with this pace as the coming weekend has no fresh and exciting releases. The team of Mathu Vadalara 2 has hit the jackpot arriving at a correct time. Comedian Sathya has geen getting rave reviews for his laugh evoking performance. He has become the main asset of the film and contributed much to the success of Mathu Vadalara 2.

Thangalaan On OTT This Week

Pa Ranjith’s Thangalaan starring Vikram was released last month with decent reviews and favourable talk. The film’s production design, Vikram’s performance and mystique elements were well appreciated by the audience.

While the film opened well at the box office, it failed to sustain the moment and ended up as an average grosser with around Rs 75 crore worldwide collections. Considering the budget and scale of the movie, these were pretty low numbers at the Box office. 

Thangalaan received positive word of mouth but still failed to attract an audience consistently after its first weekend. A small film Demonte Colony 2 released in the competition and emerged as a Blockbuster. After an average box-office run, Thangalaan is now getting ready for its OTT premiere.

The film will be arriving on OTT this week and will stream on Netflix. It’s expected to stream from the 19th or 20th September on Netflix in all languages. Thangalaan also starred Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan and Pasupathy in key roles. The film’s music was composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

The GOAT Hitting 150 Cr Overseas

Vijay’s The GOAT has performed exceptionally well in Tamil Nadu and overseas markets. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the total overseas collection of The GOAT is around $17.6M and it’s all set to cross the Rs 150 Cr milestone by tomorrow. This massive figure has become the all-time 5th highest for Kollywood overseas grossers after Leo, Jailer, 2 Point 0, and Ponniyin Selvan.

The GOAT performed exceptionally well in the overseas territories. This science fiction action film achieved breakeven in all territories. The breakeven gross is at $15M and the film is expected to collect around $19 M in full run.

The GOAT has also entered the Rs 400 crores club and has become the 14th South Indian film to do so. In Kollywood, 2.0, Vikram, Jailer, Leo, and Ponniyin Selvan have entered this club and now this Venkat Prabhu starter has become 6th film to do so. The film is also marching towards being the Tamil Nadu highest grosser. Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 1 holds this record.

Telugu Distributors step back from Game Changer

Game Changer starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar was touted to be a blockbuster film and enjoyed much attention from all. The team felt overconfident about the film and released no update except the song, Jaragandi. Then, Shankar’s another film, Indian 2 released and became a big disaster which troubled him. Since then no update about Game Changer has come out and this has impacted the film alot. Now, it is learnt that Telugu Distributors have been stepping back from Game Changer.

As no update was released, hype and buzz of the film got killed over a period of time. This is also one of the main reasons why they are backing off. Producer Dil Raju is said to be quoting big prices. From AP, Dil Raju expects 90 crore business which is a high price. Recently released blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD made 90 crores from AP. Dil Raju quoting Kalki 2898 AD success number looks very surprising.

Distributors are said to be not ready to take that risk now. Dil Raju has a trusted Distributor batch but it came to notice that they were not ready for this and are taking the backstep. In other languages, the film attracted no section of larger audience and business may not happen at the quoted prices. The team must release some impactful content from the film as updates at least for now to have good prices.
