Devara success meet cancelled?

Devara starring NTR has been rocking the box office since its release. The film has also managed to gross more than 300 crores at the box office worldwide. NTR showed his stardom completely right from the midnight shows premiered. Fans and Audience wanted a grand success meet to celebrate the film’s success. But it looks like Devara success meet may have been cancelled by the team.

The distributor of the film, Naga Vamsi has clarified about this saying that they were unable to get permission to hold a success meet despite having no pre-release event for the film as well. He said that no permission was granted for them to conduct the success meet in outdoor locations due to the Dasara and Devi Navaratri festival celebrations.

Devara’s pre-release event was cancelled at the last moment due to the overflocking of the fans and audience at the event spot. It disappoints the fans and audience again to not have a success meet for Devara despite the film rocking the box office like anything.

Weak promotions done by the unit have also affected the film’s box office run.

Nivetha Thomas who wanted to have a big relief must wait for some more time. The Actress is also a bit overweight physically. She might up come up with a different personality for her future films as well.

Devara 6 days worldwide collections: Area Wise Details

As projected earlier, Devara witnessed a good jump on the 6th day with a Gandhi Jayanti holiday advantage. The film had an excellent first weekend and saw a slight slump in weekday collections. Devara, however, saw a sharp rise in the occupancies and box-office performance yesterday. Here’s an area-wise breakdown of Devara’s gross collections after 6 days.

The Telugu states contributed a colossal Rs 158 crores, while Karnataka’s gross collections stand at a solid Rs 28 crores. Tamil Nadu’s Rs 8.5 crore gross and Kerala’s Rs 2 crore sum up South India’s performance. After 6 days, the rest of India’s collections stood at an impressive Rs 52 crores. The all-India collections have now risen to Rs 248.5 crores.

In overseas markets, Devara has collected $8.15 million so far adding another Rs 68 crores approx to the overall gross. The total Devara gross collections now stand at an impressive Rs 317 crores after 6 days. The film is expected to hit Rs 400 crores mark by this weekend.

Telangana Minister, Konda Surekha today has ignited a major controversy by dragging in the divorce issue of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. She said that the divorce happened only due to the harrassment done upon Samantha by former Minister, KTR. This became an instant sensation on social media platforms. Netizens are now coming in support of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya as well. Apart from them, Tollywood must also back Samantha by being fearless of the Government.

Many celebrities from Tollywood have already started voicing their support for Samantha and Naga Chaitanya apart from Nagarjuna’s family. But the elite celebrities must also condemn the comments made by the Minister officially. They must act in a way that such incident mustn’t be repeated in the future. The celebrities must come up with a uniform condemnation of such baseless comments made by the Minister.

Sensational comments about Naga Chaitanya and Samantha divorce by Telangana Minister

Telangana Minister, Konda Surekha has made sensational comments today about Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s divorce. The Minister claimed that their divorce happened due to the harrassment done by Politician KTR on Actress Samantha. She went on to deliver even more controversial statements regarding this episode.

The Minister said that KTR had ordered the family of Naga Chaitanya to send Samantha to sexually please him. These comments have shocked everyone. She also said that KTR had threatened to demolish the N. Convention centre owned by family of Naga Chaitanya if Samantha failed to meet him. She even told that Samantha was then forced by both Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya but she had parted ways with the latter having left with no choice. Konda Surekha also accused KTR of harrassing other actresses including Rakul Preet Singh as well.

No one knows if these comments have any validation and proof. But Nagarjuna has quickly responded about these comments on his official X/Twitter Account. He condemned the comments of the Minister and requested not to involve their personal issues into politics. He also requested the Minister to refrain from making such baseless comments. We have to see how the Minister responds back on this issue.

Devara starring NTR is rocking the box office everywhere. The film started a big euphoria right from its release with the midnight release. Likewise the film opened to more than 150 crores gross on the opening day at the box office. Now, Devara has joined 300 crore club by beating this year’s highest grosser Hanuman starring Teja Sajja.

Hanuman, released during the Sankranthi season became a Pan India blockbuster by grossing nearly 300 crores worldwide. Devara witnessed sensational jump today due to the holiday advantage of Gandhi Jayanthi. The film is also on it way of crossing other Pan India blockbusters Pushpa, Saaho and Adipurush in its full run. It is also expected to settle at Top 6th spot in Tollywood after Baahubali 2, RRR, Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali 1 and Salaar.

However, joining the 500 crore club may become a bit difficult for Devara as it has to continue the same momentum for few more weeks. Dusshera holidays have started officially from tomorrow and the film may put even more big numbers throughout these 2 weekends. Let’s wait and see where Devara settles.

The works related to the teaser are also completed as per sources. This is a crucial step for Game Changer as this will be the first content to come out regarding the film’s theme and concept.

Game Changer is also a crucial film for director Shankar who suffered a big setback with his previous film, Indian 2. Indian 2 became one of the biggest disasters in the career of Shankar. Devara: Bigger Hit than Pushpa

NTR’s much-anticipated film Devara is causing quite a stir at the box office. Amidst Devara’s success, it has prompted admirers to compare its credits to Allu Arjun’s legendary film Pushpa. Pushpa Part 1 performed exceptionally well in other languages. However, it does not perform well in Telugu. Corona and ticket issues were important causes for Puspha’s slow performance in Andhra.
