Prakash Raj criticises Pawan Kalyan again

Actor Prakash Raj has been criticising Tollywood Actor Pawan Kalyan ever since the latter had started talking about the Laddu controversy in Tirupati Temple in AP. Pawan Kalyan gave a strong counter to Prakash Raj for speaking casually about this issue and then Prakash Raj started pulling the leg of Pawan Kalyan on twitter. Now, Prakash Raj has again criticised Pawan Kalyan on stage indirectly.

Prakash Raj took part in an event in Tamil Nadu recently where he spoke that Udayanidhi Stalin was better as a Deputy CM speaking for equality of people and hinted at Pawan Kalyan as another Deputy CM who was making religious clashes. These comments of Prakash Raj have gone viral now. He has also posted the same picture of him being with Udayanidhi Stalin and termed him as a Deputy CM.

We don’t when this would stop or where this would lead to. Pawan Kalyan earlier criticised Udayanidhi Stalin for his comments on Sanatana Dharma once which became controversial. Many Tamil Netizens have been trolling Pawan Kalyan on social media platforms for his comments of Udayanidhi Stalin.

Jani Master National Award cancelled

Tollywood Dance Master Jani Master involved in a big controversy recently. The dance choreographer was alleged to have sexually assaulted a female dance choreographer. He was instantly booked by police and imprisoned as well. Now, Jani Master’s National Award has been cancelled for the same reason.

Jani Master won the National Award for Best Choreography for Megam Karukkatha from Thiruchitrambalam. The song became very popular for its dance moves and composition of tune as well. But it will be only semi happiness for Jani Master as the award will no longer be with him. Alongwith this, he was already removed from the Tollywood Dance Choreographer’s body.

He is currently out on bail now. We need to see if he would come out and speak something about the issue. Going by these incidents, he may not get any opportunities anymore from Tollywood. He is also an active member of Janasena party run by Tollywood Actor, Pawan Kalyan. Jani Master was also suspended from the membership of Janasena Party as well. So, he will have to deal with the case for some period.

Thangalaan OTT troubles

Pa Ranjith’s action adventure Thangalaan starring Vikram and Parvathy Thiruvothu is one of the most eagerly anticipated OTT releases from Kollywood. The film had its theatrical release on Independence Day with Vikram’s performance and technical aspects of the film receiving huge applause.

The film also starred Pasupathy, and Malavika Mohanan in key roles and was released amidst high high expectations. It opened with excellent numbers but fell drastically after the opening day and ended up as a below-average fare at the Box office.

Thangalaan’s digital rights bought by Netflix and it was announced officially as well. Everyone expected the film to stream on Netflix from mid- September there seems to be some troubles with Netflix. There is a strong buzz that Netflix is about to cancel the deal, and Thangalaan’s OTT rights are likely to be sold to another platform.

The ones eagerly awaiting for this film’s OTT release will have to wait a few days more. As per reports, Amazon Prime Video in talks with Thangalaan makers for OTT deal.

Devara 2: Koratala Siva’s dilemma

Devara starring NTR became a big blockbuster after the release. The film has also grossed more than 300 crores worldwide. Both NTR and Director Koratala Siva have decided to make the film into 2 parts in the midway of shoot. But Devara 2 may not start immediately since NTR has committed for two more films. Devara 2 will be Koratala Siva’s big dilemma now.

NTR will be occupied atleast for a year to work for War 2 and NTRNeel films. There are also talks of NTR collaborating with Tamil Director Nelson for another film. These would put Koratala Siva in a big dilemma having no presence of NTR for his next film. He must wait until NTR finishes these films and come afresh for Devara 2. Devara 2 would then take atleast two years of shoot.

So, it will be waiting time for Koratala Siva till the release of Devara 2 without his mistake. Koratala Siva gave back to back films since Mirchi till Bharat Ane Nenu. But in span of last six years only two films released for him i.e., Acharya and Devara. Devara 2 will release only in 2027 as said. So he must wait for another 3 years.

Rajinikanth To Team Up With Mani Ratnam!

‘Super Star’ Rajinikanth had first joined hands with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam back in the early 90s, which yeilded Thalapathy, a gangster drama film that is now considered a cult classic by many critics of Tamil cinema.

In spite of this, the actor-director have never reunited again since then. According to a reliable source, these legends are finally coming together to bring something spectacular to the big screen. A. R. Rahman is reportedly the music composer to this film.

Mani Ratnam, who enjoyed recent success with the two-part-saga Ponniyan Selvan, is currently directing  ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Hassan in Thug Life. Criminal Case Lodged On Akkineni Nagarjuna!

For those unaware, veteran actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has filed a defamation case of INR 100 crore against Telangana minister Konda Surekha for her remarks on the former’s family. Multiple high-profile personalities of Telugu cinema have slammed the latter for her personal attack on Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya.

Looks like this issue has taken a new turn: as the title reads, Kasireddy Bhaskar Reddy, the owner of ‘Janam Kosam’ (an anti-corruption NGO), has filed a criminal case on Nagarjuna at Madhapur police station lately.

According to a reliable source, the case is linked to the alleged construction of N-Convention by the 65-year-old actor by illegally accupying the land of 1.12 acre of Tummidikunta Lake. Stay tuned for more updates regarding such issues.

Jr. NTR’s Devara Is A Disaster In Tamil!

Kortala Siva’s action drama Devara: Part One has joined the list of Telugu films that failed to crack the Tamil market. As the title reads, the Tamil version of the JR. NTR-starrer has emerged as a box-office bomb.

Devara’s Tamil version has made a business of INR 8 crore through theatrical rights. Despite the presence of Anirudh Ravichander, the film failed to strike a chord with the audiences there. Collecting a modest INR less than 4 crore share so far, it will reportedly leave a loss of INR 4 crore (including the publicity costs).

However, Devara is a profitable venture in its original Telugu version and Hindi, with the latter already grossing over INR 50 crore. Overall, the film registered a first-week worldwide gross of INR 328 crore, an excellent figure for any contemporary Indian film.

Lokesh Kanagaraj: No truth about Rajinikanth health rumours

Tamil Actor Rajinikanth had a minor surgery recently. This news has shocked everyone as many were worried about his health status. It was also rumoured that the Actor had been injured or fell ill during the shoot of his upcoming film, Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. But Lokesh Kanagaraj has clarified this by saying that there was no truth about Rajinikanth’s fake health rumours.

The Director said that this surgery was a pre-planned one but not something that had happened during the shoot. He appealed the Youtubers to be responsible in delivering the news to the audience. The Director has assured of Rainikanth’s health as well during his interaction with the media. Rajinikanth will be taking some time and would join the shoot after some days.

Coolie is scheduled to release next year. The film also has an ensemble cast from various film Industries of the country. The film carries high expectations due to the combo of Kanagaraj and Rajinikanth.
