Bail granted to Naga Shaurya’s father

Young hero Naga Shaurya’s father Shivalinga Prasad was arrested earlier today. He was apprehended by the police in a gambling case reported last week at a farmhouse in Manchirevula in Hyderabad outskirts. Shivalinga Prasad had reportedly violated the lease conditions and the owner took an action against him.

The police later produced Naga Shaurya’s Shivalinga Prasad in front of the court, where he was granted bail. The issue came to light on October 31st when police raided and found several people at the farmhouse gambling.

A case under the Telangana Gaming Act was registered at the Narsingi police station. The court granted bail to main suspect Gutta Suman Kumar in the case while the others were released earlier. The police had seized Rs 6.77 lakh, 33 mobile phones, three cars and 29 gambling sets.

RRR Mass Anthem releasing earlier than announced

The much-awaited RRR Mass Anthem will release in a short while from now at 3 PM. The song was earlier scheduled for a 4 PM release today. However, due to certain unforeseen circumstances, its release has been pushed earlier.

The RRR Mass Anthem titled ‘Naatu Naatu’ will feature Jr NTR and Ram Charan with their dancing shoes on. This high-energy foot-tapping number will see some groovy moves from both the stars and is sure to entertain fans. Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava have sung this number.

The makers had earlier released the promo of the song in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada.

Gopichand’s Aaradugula Bullet now streaming on OTT

Gopichand’s recent release Aaradugula Bullet is now streaming on OTT. The action drama that also features Nayanthara in the lead role is now available on Amazon Prime Video.

The movie has been in making since 2012 and has undergone director change as well as a title change. Bhoopathy Pandian was initially fixed to direct the movie which was then titled Jagan Mohan IPS. Pandian has directed a number of Tamil action thrillers in the mid-2000s and early 2010s.

However, due to certain creative differences, he was replaced by ace director B Gopal and the movie was renamed Aaradugula Bullet.

Vakkantham Vamsi who has penned the stories of a number of Telugu action thrillers has written Aaradugula Bullet. Thandra Ramesh bankrolled this long-delayed film while Mani Sharma composed the music.

RC15 2nd schedule from 15th Nov in Hyderabad

The first schedule of RC15 featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani was completed recently. Reportedly, a song set on a grand scale along with some crucial scenes were shot during this schedule. The first schedule was shot entirely in Maharashtra in Pune, Satara, and Phalton.

With the end of the first schedule, the team will take a break of a few days before moving on to the next schedule from 15th November in Hyderabad.

RC15 is a political drama with a powerful message. This film is going to be on an anti-corruption theme. Ram Charan’s character is going to play an anti-corruption crusader in this social drama. This film is going to be unlike any of the other Shankar films. Reportedly, heavy usage of VFX and costly sets that are a part of Shankar’s films will be missing in RC15.

NTR-Koratala Siva film to be delayed

A few months ago NTR30 was confirmed officially with Koratala Siva. It was after much suspense and last-minute changes that it was decided that NTR-Koratala Siva will be collaborating for this film.  This will be the second collaboration between the duo after the hugely successful Janatha Garage. This film will be featuring the ‘RRR’ star in a lean and athletic look.

The film was supposed to go on floors in December and pre-production works have already started on it. Even Tarak has completed his portions for RRR and Evaru Meelo Koteeswarudu. But due to his recent surgery on his fingers, the shoot will now get delayed. Tarak will be undergoing a massive transformation for this film to get into a student union leader look. And for this reason, the doctors have advised him to rest for a while.

Koratala Siva has set high expectations on this project. Speaking about NTR30, he earlier took to social media and said, “Last time repairs were local…but for a change we will cross boundaries this.”

Big Dilemma for Allu Arjun’s Pushpa team

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa has already announced its release date long back. The makers of this action thriller after much deliberations zeroed in on 17th December as the date of release. However, now they are caught in a precarious position.

The crux of the problem is Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. This Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starter was also slated for a December release. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa had also fixed December as its release and refused to postpone their date. This was why Acharya had to settle for a 4th February as its release.

However, with just over a month to go for December 17th, Pushpa’s shoot is still pending across major portions. In the present scenario, if Pushpa postpones its release, this might rub Chiranjeevi off as he had postponed Acharya for the sake of Pushpa’s December release.

The team of Pushpa had actually planned for a teaser on Diwali. However, with large portions pending, the unit chose to focus on the movie’s completion first. Now, team Pushpa is left with only two options. The first is hurrying with the movie shoot and completing the shooting and post-production at an express speed. The second is pacifying Chiranjeevi and postponing its own release.

Laddunda lyrical from Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju is out

The makers of Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju released the movie’s first song Laddunda. This peppy song appears to be a fantasy number. Nagarjuna himself has crooned for Laddunda song along with Dhanunjaya and Mohana Bogaraju.

Kalyan Krishna is directing this project which is a prequel to the 2016 socio fantasy Soggade Chinni Nayana.

Naga Chaitanya will be teaming up with Nagarjuna for the other lead role.

The celebrated father-son duo previously appeared together in Akkineni’s multi-starrer Manam which is remembered as one of the all-time classics.

Ramya Krishna who was paired in Soggade Chinni Nayana, is part of Bangaraju as well. The makers have roped in Krithi Shetty to play Naga Chaitanya’s love interest.

Balakrishna’s Akhanda Andhra Pre-release business details

Dulquer Salman’s Kurup – A revival of Mollywood market

High expectations are set on Dulquer Salman’s Kurup, an upcoming crime drama. The pandemic has brought a dull phase over Mollywood like any other industry. And Kurup, like most of the other industries’ big releases, is looking to revive the local market.

The movie is set to release on 12th November in Malayalam along with dubbed versions in Tamil Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. The Kerala bookings are super strong at the moment and the movie is on its way to gross a minimum of Rs 5 crores on the opening day.
