The trend that is gaining popularity these days is to hold a success meet/party after the release of a film. Despite positive talk or negative talk, the makers start celebrating with crackers after the morning show itself. Irrespective of the public opinion, makers plan a success meet on the day of release itself.

The director of Khiladi, Ramesh Varma, and producer, Koneru Satyanarayana Rao have followed this same trend by holding a success meet. But, the main Khiladi, Ravi Teja is clearly absent from the event.

It is common knowledge now that things are not great between Ravi Teja and Ramesh Varma. The Khiladi actor was visually displeased with Ramesh Varma in the pre-release event as well. Things further escalated when Ramesh Varma’s wife called him a cheap star on social media.

Ravi Teja has made it clear that he will not attend any event of Khiladi as he is disappointed with the output of the film. Khiladi was released on February 11th, 2022, and has opened to negative talk from audiences. Ravi Teja’s absence from these events will further the downfall in collections.

Khiladi also stars Arjun Sarja, Dimple Hayathi, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Unni Mukundan among others. DSP is the music director of the film.

Bheemla Nayak Makers Expecting Positive News From Government

Even after the decline of COVID-19 cases in Andhra Pradesh, the government decided to continue the occupancy restrictions and night curfew in the state. But according to government rules, February 14th is the last date for these COVID-19 guidelines. New guidelines will be issued shortly.

In view of this, the makers of Bheemla Nayak are expecting positive news from the government. The team is hoping that there will be provisions made for 100% occupancy and no restrictions on night shows as well.

If things go according to plan, they are ready to release the film on February 25th in theatres. As of now, there is a lot of confusion about whether to release the film on February 25th or April 1st. But once the government announces guidelines, things will be more clear.

The AP government will also announce the inclusion of a new Government Order regarding ticket rates in the coming days. If the GO is issued before Feb 25th, this will be an added advantage for Bheemla Nayak. The film is releasing in both Telugu as well as Hindi parallelly.

Joe Russo said that the Indian movie Enthiran/Robo almost influenced the climactic moments of Avengers: Age of Ultron. “In one of the final scenes, all the Ultrons were supposed to form a huge Ultron. The Avengers was set to fight that mega Ultron but the sequence got cut for many reasons. It was very close. That scene was inspired directly by Robo.”

Joe Russo has a lot of respect for Indian culture and has also written the story of Extraction, which was shot majorly in India. Ajith’s Valimai Telugu states rights sold for a good price

Ajith’s Valimai is attracting solid buzz ahead of its release on 24th February. The film has closed its business of AP Telangana and the makers have received a solid deal. Radhakrishna Entertainment’s Venkat has bagged the Telugu state’s rights for Valimai for Rs 4 crores.

The action-thriller will feature Ajith in a cop role after a long time. Valimai is one of the most eagerly awaited Tamil biggies and fans’ anticipation is at an all-time high.

Madurai-based Gopuram films have bought entire TN rights for a whopping Rs 72 crores. This is the highest pre-release business for a movie post-Corona lockdown. Similarly, the buzz for this action thriller in the Hindi trade circles is also great.

Now in a bizarre turn of events, the wife of director Ramesh Varma has made some serious comments against Ravi Teja. She took to her Instagram to post a story saying this “Aratipandlu Meku Baga Vachu Anukanta Thiyadam. Director Garu Classes Theeskondi Next Time”.

She also said, “Now I understand why Ajay Bhupathi called Ravi Teja a cheap star”. Little is known as to what is going on in the background but this has just made things worse.

There were initial doubts as to whether this was actually Ramesh Varma’s wife but it is now confirmed. Ramesh Varma follows the same account on Instagram.

The unfortunate leak of Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s ‘Kalavathi’ song has left fans and makers shocked and upset. Among those most affected and heartbroken in SS Thaman. The ace music director shared a voice note on Twitter and said he was ‘Heartbroken’.

The leak has broken our hearts and upset me in a massive way. The technicians, my composing and mixing team, the lyric writers, the editors every one put in their sweat and blood into it. They have been working day and night over the last six months for this output. Some unit members even contracted Covid during the song shoot and for someone to insult the hardwork of the entire team by leaking it is upsetting me.,” said Thaman.

The usually silent and reserved Thaman shared around 4 minutes of audio clips expressing his feelings on the issue. The song was scheduled to release on Valentine’s day and was leaked a couple of days ago. A case has been booked against a couple of unit members from the direction department.

Post the leak, the makers are getting another lyrical ready and will release the music video today at 4:05 PM.

Karthi’s 2019 superhit Kaithi is all set to get a sequel now as all the issues have now been cleared. The film was earlier mired in controversies and a claim was filed by a petitioner claiming the story as his own. Rajiv Ranjan, the petitioner had stated that he had narrated the story to the film’s producer SR Prabhu way back in 2007.

As per reports, Rajiv Ranjan had filed a case in Kollam court for compensation of Rs 4 crores Dream Warrior Pictures. Now all the issues have been sorted and Dream Warrior Pictures are gearing up for the sequel.

Lokesh Kangaraj had directed his action thriller that featured Karthi as a prisoner released from jail. On his release, he gets caught up in a police-gangsters clash. The film starred Arjun Das Harish Uthaman, George Maryan, and Narain in key roles. The film released in Telugu as Khaidi and was a roaring success in Telugu states.

A Bollywood remake of the film is getting ready and will feature Ajay Devgn reprising Karthi’s role. Sunil responded to this by saying “If I said this then the mic should have blown up, I have not said that Sir.” Mohan Babu continued by saying “Tell me the truth, you said something about Ali. Ali also acted as a hero and scored a hit but I have acted in more movies than him. You said something along these lines”

Sunil kept saying that he did not say any such thing. “Beleive me I did not say anything” he added. This is probably a tactic from Mohan Babu to cause unnecessary controversy to promote the film using Sunil and Ali. Son of India is releasing on February 18th, 2022 in theatres. Vishnu Manchu is releasing the film on his own banner as there are no buyers for the film.
