In an interview, Avengers Infinity and Avengers Endgame director, Joe Russo spoke highly of Indian movies. This was during the promotions for Avengers Endgame in India. The star director has always had a lot of good things to say about India.
Joe Russo said that the Indian movie Enthiran/Robo almost influenced the climactic moments of Avengers: Age of Ultron. “In one of the final scenes, all the Ultrons were supposed to form a huge Ultron. The Avengers was set to fight that mega Ultron but the sequence got cut for many reasons. It was very close. That scene was inspired directly by Robo.”
Joe Russo has a lot of respect for Indian culture and has also written the story of Extraction, which was shot majorly in India. He has also shot a series titled Citadel that stars Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. Raj and DK are working on the spinoff series of Citadel with Varun Dhawan and Samantha.
