Khiladi Movie 4th Single – The 4th single titled ‘Full Kickuu’, is releasing tomorrow. From the first look of the song, it promises to be an energetic, peppy mass number. The song will release on 26th January at 10:08 AM. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film.

Rama Rao On Duty Glimpse – Ravi Teja is back in the role of a cop once again. Ravi Teja and cop avatars are a match made in heaven. Whether it is Rajamouli’s Vikramarkudu or the 2021 Krack, Ravi Teja is the perfect fit for a powerful cop character. The Mass Maharaja will don the role of a cop in Ramarao On Duty as well, and the first glimpse of the film will release tomorrow.

Prabhas’ Raja Deluxe Was First Offered To Senior Hero

Recently, the talk of the town has been about Prabhas’ new movie titled Raja Deluxe. Fans of Prabhas were unpleasantly surprised to hear that Prabhas would be collaborating with Maruthi for a horror-comedy. Prabhas’ fans did not want to see their star do a small budget film after being involved in humongous large-scale projects.

Now, there has been more news coming out regarding the project. There are strong reports that Raja Deluxe was originally written for Chiranjeevi. But Chiranjeevi was dropped at the last minute, due to which Prabhas was roped in as the main lead.

The reason for Chiranjeevi’s exit is still unknown but it is a promising sign that star actors are interested in the script. We should not forget that Maruthi has directed one of the funniest comedic entertainers in Tollywood, Bale Bale Magadivoy.

In more interesting news, Thaman S has also been roped in as the music director for Raja Deluxe.

Release date locked for Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki

Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki has managed to grab the attention of movie lovers right from the day of its announcement. The movie will mark the Tollywood debut of Nazariya Nazim and will be directed by Vivek Athreya. Vivek Athreys’ films have a unique making style and presentation and Ante Sundaraniki would be no different.

“I can’t reveal anything much about the film but it’s going to be a fun watch for sure. But when I say rom-com, I’d also like to clarify that it’ll be nothing like my debut film Mental Madhilo or the madcap Brochevarevarura,” he said during a recent media interaction.

The makers have set their sights on releasing the movie for June. However, a lot of it depends on the Covid situation.

The principal photography of Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki has been wrapped up and the actor shared the news on Twitter.

Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this project. Nadhiya, Harsha Vardhan, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Suhas will feature in key roles in this project.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is on a signing spree. Post the massive success of Krack, he will be seen in multiple exciting projects. His next project Khiladi will release on February 11th and he has Ramarao on Duty, Dhamaka, Ravanasura, and Chiru 154 in line. Khiladi also stars Dimple Hayashi, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Arjun Sarja in key roles. 

As per reports, Ravi Teja will also be seen in the remake of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘Driving Licence’. He will be reprising the role played by the Malayalam star. The Malayalam comedy film featured the dynamics between a motor vehicle inspector and an actor.

The inspector happens to be a huge fan of the actor who needs the license on an urgent basis. What follows next is how the lives of both men get affected. The Malayalam film ended up as one of the biggest blockbusters of Mollywood in 2019.

Driving Licence starred Suraj Venjaramoodu in the role of a Motor vehicle inspector and it needs to be seen who plays that role. The rights have been acquired by Konidela Productions and further details will be announced soon.

Nani’s DASARA To Have Mollywood Actor As Antagonist

Nani has always mentioned his keen interest to play different and unique characters for every film. We recently saw him portray a completely different character in Shyam Singha Roy with conviction.

Dasara is yet another interesting concept from the ‘Natural Star’. After V, Nani will be seen in negative shades again for Dasara. Set in the backdrop of rural Telangana, it is an action thriller directed by debutant directed by Srikanth Odela.

From the first look of the film, Dasara seems to revolve around the coal mines in the Telangana region. Nani also sports a raw and rugged look, with a heavy beard, and a terrific accent.

Now, the latest addition to DASARA is top Mollywood actor Roshan Mathews. Roshan has acted in some of the most noteworthy films like C U Soon, Kappela, Kuruthi, etc. Roshan is playing the villain in Nani’s Dasara.

He is also working with Alia Bhatt on a Bollywood project as well. He is reportedly playing the antagonist in Nani’s Dasara, but even Nani has negative shades in the film so it is hard to determine who is the hero and, who is the villain.

The film also stars Keerthy Suresh in a lead role. Ace music director Santosh Narayanan is giving the music for the film.

Nani is slowly setting a strong foothold in Malayalam as well. His upcoming movie Ante Sundaraniki also features a top Malayalam actor, Nazriya Fahadh. This will help him to reach a wider audience in Kerala.

Ravi Teja had been going through a rough patch, with back-to-back flops and disappointing ventures at the box office. Then came the Gopichand Malineni directorial Krack, which put Ravi Teja firmly back on the map. It reminded us why he is referred to as the ‘Mass Maharaja’.

Ever since, there has been no stopping Ravi Teja. Now there is exclusive news that Ravi Teja is all set to make his Hindi debut with Khiladi.

Pen Studios will be releasing the Hindi dubbed version of this double-role action thriller. Pen Studios is also responsible for the Hindi dubbed release of RRR. The film will release on Valentine’s weekend on February 11th, 2022 in theatres.

The film also stars Dimple Hayathi, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, and Vennela Kishore among others. Ramesh Varma is the director as well as the producer of the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film.

Ravi Teja also has a bunch of interesting concepts lined up after Khiladi. Ramarao On Duty, Ravanasura, Tiger Nageshwar Rao to just name a few. If the Hindi dubbed version of Khiladi does well, there is a lot of potential for Ravi Teja’s other movies in the Hindi market.

AR Murugadoss is one of the most popular directors in India. He has delivered many blockbusters at the Pan-Indian level time and again. Superstars from every Indian film industry have tried working with Murugadoss at one point in their careers.

Some of his blockbusters include Ghajini with Suriya, which he then remade in Hindi with Aamir Khan. Aum Arivu(7th Sense), Thuppaki with Thalapathy Vijay, which he again remade as Holiday in Hindi, with Akshay Kumar. At one point AR Murugadoss and blockbusters were synonymous.

But now, things seemed to have changed for the worse. Murugadoss is unable to find a hero for his next project after repeated efforts.

Ever since Spyder, Murugadoss seems to be going through a tough phase. Although Sarkar became a commercial success, it was not celebrated by the general audiences. The less said, the better about Rajinikanth’s Darbar.

After Darbar in 2020, Murugadoss has not started any film. He had a movie with Vijay, but it was called off at the pre-production level itself. He has also narrated a script to Allu Arjun, but Allu Arjun was not too keen on the script. With, Suriya also being busy with multiple projects, Murugadoss is going through a tough phase.

At one point he was the most wanted director in South India. There was not one actor who said NO to Murugadoss. We wish for his glory days to return very soon.

Adivi Sesh’s MAJOR Movie Postponed Due To COVID-19

Adivi Sesh’s MAJOR is the latest movie to be postponed due to the COVID-19 situation in India. MAJOR is a biopic, based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, a brave soldier who put his life on the line on the unfortunate night of the attacks of 26/11.

The makers of the film made it very clear in their announcement that, MAJOR belongs to India and will release only in theatres.”Given the situation in the country at the moment, and the various restrictions in parts of the country, the film stands postponed”, the makers added.

The film is releasing in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam. The movie was originally scheduled to release on February 11th, 2022, but currently stands postponed. MAJOR has all the potential to be yet another cult classic war film from India. Earlier in 2021, we witnessed the terrific Shershaah.

The film also stars Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, and Revathi in prominent roles. Adivi Sesh has written the story as well as the screenplay for the film. Sashi Kiran Tikka is the director of the movie. Mahesh Babu is producing the film under GMB Entertainments. Sri Charan Pakala is the music director of the film.

OTT Giant Shelves Bahubali: Before The Beginning

After the mega success of the Bahubali franchise, there were a lot of proposals for part three as well. Just then, top streaming platform Netflix, along with SS Rajamouli made a shocking announcement. They announced that there will be a prequel to Bahubali: The Beginning, titled ‘Bahubali: Before The Beginning’.

An origin series that showcased the rise of Sivagami. Mrunal Thakur was to play the role of Sivagami. ‘Prasthanam’ director Deva Katta was the director, along with Praveen Sattaru. The series also starred Rahul Bose and Atul Kulkarni in pivotal roles.

They shot the series for an extensive period of 6 months, spending a whopping 100 crores. This involved the huge sets in Hyderabad and post-production work as well. After looking at the output after post-production, the makers decided to revamp the cast and crew due to dissatisfaction with the end outcome of the series.

The makers roped in Kunal Deshmukh and Ribhu Dasgupta to direct the series. After Mrunal Thakur’s exit, Wamiqa Gabbi was cast to play the role of Sivagami. Prep work also started in the start of early July 2021, however, this attempt has also come crashing down.

Netflix was not pleased with the pre-production work of the film and has decided to pull out of the project. They have wasted a total of 150 crores on a project that will not see the light of day.

Sources also tell us that, Netflix may revisit this project once again, but only when the script on paper is strong enough. “They do not want to spoil the reputation of the original Bahubali franchise with a sub-standard script”
