Kalyanram’s prestigious project Bimbisara is going to hit the theaters soon. The movie pre-biz is going on now and as per the reports, the movie is being sold at a very low price. The budget of movie is somewhere around 45 crores.
However, the theatrical rights are sold at 18 crores which isn’t even half of the budget. Even after factoring in the digital and satellite lights, the team will still be at loss and won’t be able to recover the loss.
Movie will have to get extremely positive results and collect a lot of money so that producers make some profit out of it. Bimbisara is touted as one of the biggest franchises in tollywood. The movie is going to be released in four parts.
This is the first time a tollywood movie will have four parts. Kalyanram is quite happy and confident about the product. He produced the movie under NTR Arts. This is the first movie of director Malladi Vashist and the lead actress in this film is Catherine.
The movie is the story of a ruthless king Bimbisara who time travels to present generation to achieve something. We have to wait and watch how this movie is going to pan out at the box office.
