Keerthy Suresh’s Good Luck Sakhi trailer is out now. The trailer of Good Luck Sakhi showcases Keerthy Suresh in a rural avatar. She plays Sakhi, a happy-go-lucky girl who is pushed into the sport of shooting. How she transforms her image from ‘Bad Luck Sakhi’ to ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ forms the rest of the story.

The trailer looks pretty promising at first glance, it promises an inspiring sports drama. Keerthy Suresh as Sakhi looks convincing but there are a few hiccups in her accent. The village accent seems off at times but, otherwise, she lives in the role of Sakhi.

The film has gone through multiple delays in terms of release dates and is now finally releasing on 28th January in theatres. The film also stars Aadi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu as the coach, and Rahul Ramakrishna in prominent roles.

Nagesh Kukunoor, the director has previously directed the terrific cricketing drama, titled Iqbal. The movie was a sensation at the time of release. Sudheer Chandra is the producer of the film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the movie.

The last two sports dramas from Tollywood, Seetimaar, and Lakshya have been rather forgettable. Hopefully, Good Luck Sakhi fares better.

Prabhas is undeniably one of the biggest if not the biggest star in Indian cinema right now. The actor is shouldering about 5 big-budget Pan-Indian films all at once. Radhe Shyam, Salaar, Adipurush, Project K, and Spirit are all large-scale films with more than 1500+ crores involved.

Amidst all of this, there has been a sudden new addition to this list. Prabhas is doing a small budget movie with director Maruthi, titled Raja Deluxe. This came as a rather unpleasant surprise to Prabhas fans who cannot imagine their star hero in a small-scale role. Fans argued that this sudden switch will not be appreciated on the big screen.

The project is becoming more and more complete with each day. There is now a new addition to Raja Deluxe. Leading music director Thaman S has been roped in as the music director for the Prabhas and Maruthi film. This has come as a slight relief for fans that at least the music is in safe hands.

Raja Deluxe is a horror comedy that will have Maruthi’s trademark humor. It has been ages since Prabhas has done a comedic role. Maybe this is why Prabhas gave Maruthi the green signal with this script. Prabhas will shoot for Raja Deluxe for only a total of 50 days.

Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak runtime: A quite surprising one

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer Bheemla Nayak is all set to hit the screens next month. The film was initially slated for a Sankranti release. However, It had to move to 25th February after long discussions. It is a known fact that the film is a remake of Malayalam action entertainer Ayyappannum Koshiyum.

Pawan is essaying Biju Menon’s role while Rana is playing Prithviraj’s role. Despite many similarities in the two films, Bheemla Nayak will be having one thing totally different and that is the runtime. While Ayyappannum Koshiyum was 3 hours long, Pawan Kalyan’s version will be just 2 hours and 10 minutes long.

Reportedly, Powerstar is keen on keeping the film slick and pacy and has removed songs and slowish scenes from the original. The film will have a racy screenplay and both Pawan and Trivikram have ensured that the film doesn’t have any dull moments. As per inside info, the duo is all set for a box-office rampage and are quite confident of the output.

The film also stars Nithya Menen, Samyuktha Menon, Brahmanandam, and Murali Sharma in prominent roles. Trivikram has written the screenplay for the film. Saagar K Chandra is directing the movie.

Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming film to release on OTT

Keerthy Suresh has been one of the busiest actresses across industries for the past couple of years. The ‘Mahanati’ actress has been working on big as well as small Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam projects back to back. Her upcoming film ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ will be releasing later this week and she will be also seen with Superstar Mahesh Babu in Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

The actress was seen recently in Malayalam big-budget project Marakkar. Meanwhile, her next Tamil project Saani Kaayidham is gearing up for release. This movie, however, will go for a direct OTT release. Saani Kaayidham also stars director Selvaraghavan and will mark his acting debut.

Amazon Prime has bought the rights for the film directed by Arun Matheswaran. The first look of the film was released last year and featured both Keerthy Suresh and Selvaraghavan in a de-glam and rustic look. The film is a hard-hitting story rooted in reality. It is based on true events that happened in 1980s.

Meanwhile ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ will release on January 28th. With just a week to go, there have been no promotions from the makers and it needs to be seen if the film can bring the audience to theatres.

DJ Tillu to hit the screens on February 4th?

Siddhu Jonnalagadda starrer DJ Tillu has been in waiting for quite some time. The film was wrapped up last year and ever since the makers have been looking for an appropriate release time which didn’t work out due to Covid.

The teaser of DJ Tillu was released a couple of months back and its makers have been contemplating an appropriate release date. Out of nowhere, it was announced that DJ Tillu will release for Sankranti and later that was postponed too.

Now, according to reports, the unit is aiming at February 4th as the release date. Siddhu Jonnalagadda has created a niche for himself by doing different genre movies and DJ Tillu is touted to be a hilarious entertainer.

The story and dialogues are penned by the actor himself while the screenplay has been developed along with Vimal Krishna. Sithara Entertainments is producing the film and barring a song, the entire shoot is completed.

Neha Shetty plays Siddhu’s love interest, while Prince Cecil will be seen in a vital role in the film produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi.

Sri Charan Pakala renders tunes and Navin Nooli and Avinash Kolla take care of editing and art departments respectively.

A couple of months ago, Dil Raju came forward with an announcement that shocked the Telugu audiences. The ace producer announced that he will be bankrolling the Vamsi Paidipally directorial with Thalapathy Vijay.

This came as a shock to everyone as this was such a rare combination. Vamsi has directed only 4 movies in the span of 14 years, thereby, everyone was surprised how a star like Vijay agreed to do a film.

There seems to be more clarity regarding the same now. In an interview with TV 5 News, Dil Raju said that this film with Vijay is the most beautiful story. “When I heard the storyline I knew this was the best film ever”. He then went on to add “When Vijay heard the script, he said that he has never heard a script like this in 20 years. To hear that from a star hero is always great.”

Dil Raju also added that Vamsi is still working on the script, and shooting will start by March. We are aiming for a Diwali release if COVID-19 is gone by then. Otherwise, we will come for Sankranthi 2023, he added.

It will not be an easy task to cater to the star image of Thalapathy Vijay in Tamil Nadu. It will be interesting to see how Vamsi does it. We saw glimpses of this in Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi.
