Vishwak Sen’s new movie has launched officially

Young Hero Vishwak Sen known for his Faluknama Das coming up with a comedy thriller next. The movie is being produced under his own banner Vishwaksen Cinemas along with Vanmaye Creations. Naresh Kuppili is the director while Bezawada Prasanna Kumar is penning the script and dialogues. The film is officially launched today and it gets an interesting title.

Carrying the legacy of Faluknama Das the new movie is titled as “Das ka Dhumki”. Nivetha Pethuraj roped in as female lead. Das ka Dhumki is launched today. Allu Aravind, Anil Ravipudi graced the event. The films regular shoot will commence from 14th March.

Radhe Shyam gets additional hike with revised ticket prices in AP !

Andhra Pradesh government on Monday approved a new G.O. on permitting new shows and ticket price hikes. Big budget film like Radhe Shyam and RRR waited and postponed their film’s release for the ticket price hike. From the beginning Radhe Shyam was projected as a big budgeted film with lots of VFX related scenes. This made the makers lobby with AP Government about the ticket hike prices to come into effect as soon as possible. Makers are now happy about the revised ticket prices in AP. Radhe Shyam even got an additional Rs 50/- along with revised ticket prices for 10 days considering its huge budget.

Many celebrities like Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi and Rajamouli visited AP CM in person to appeal for the same to help their big budgeted films. In recent times even though footfalls are decent to good for many films, there isn’t much revenue being generated in AP due to the less ticketing price brought by the Government. Now the industry is looking for Radhe Shyam getting the same record foot falls like earlier.

Radhe Shyam is going to be released as a Pan-Indian film in all Indian languages in a grand manner. This is also going to be third pan-indian film for Prabhas after Bahubali and Sahoo. The performance of this film will be very crucial for Prabhas to establish himself as a bankable star through out the country. His next films too are all Pan-Indian. He has high hopes on this film. The run of this film will also be a booster for the upcoming big budget biggies like RRR and KGF. Starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde Radhe Shyam is slated for release on March 11.

Bheemla Nayak makers lose 20cr because of political reasons

Bheemla Nayak starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati did very well on opening day and had a strong weekend at box-office too. The film suffered later with no repeat audience. It crumbled on weekdays totally losing sheen on second weekend. The film has managed to collect nearly 90 cr share in 11 days. The entire theatrical business is valued at 107.6 crs. Now the film as it looks is about to lose 20 crore because of the political reasons too.

Pawan Kalyan started to have a direct war with the ruling AP government. He openly criticized the government wherever he had gone. Be that a political event or any filmy event. The government came up with a G.O on regulating high ticket prices. This has not gone well with film celebrities too. Celebrities like Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas met AP CM Jagan in person and had requested him to hike the ticket prices to support their big budget films. Government had even promised them on this telling a new G.O. would be released during February’s final week.

Makers of Bheemla Nayak surprisingly came up with the release of the film on February 25 suddenly. Government on the other hand didn’t release any G.O. regarding ticket hike. The G.O. was released yesterday but Bheemla Nayak’s run has almost ended up at the box-office as of now. Radhe Shyam is about to release in 3 days. If the G.O. had come earlier Bheemla Nayak would have got 20 cr more. Pawan Kalyan’s political war is costing his films badly. The makers of his films too are not having any word with the Government which is surprising. It is better for makers to have good talks with Government.

Akhanda’s 100 days celebrations event details

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s hattrick movie Akhanda released on 2nd December,2022 and is still running in few theatres. The film is a huge success at blockbuster and is completing 100 days in theatres which is a phenomenal feat. Akhanda is released with covid restrictions and also ticket rate issues in andhra pradesh but it has become a sensational hit at box office. So the film deserves a 100 days function.

Akhanda’s 100 days celebrations are being planned on 12th March,2022 at STBC Grounds, Kurnool. The event will start at 6pm for which all the film’s cast and crew are attending. Balakrishna will entertain his fans no matter what the stage is. So they are eagerly waiting for their favourite hero’s event.

100 Days celebrations event will be second success meet after Akhanda’s success roar that took place on 9th December. Though many movies are celebrating success parties just after the release it is not so common these days to have a 100 days run in theatres. Akhanda achieved that feat. Balayya babu fans are unstoppable with the success.

Ajith’s Valimai needs just another strong weekend for Hit Status !

Ajith and Karthikeya starrer Valimai opened very big on day 1. The film collected more than 30 crs share on the opening day itself. However the film lost the pace and started to decline after the weekend. But the film perfomed well in the second weekend surprisingly. Initially buyers had fears about the run of the film’s after it’s decline during the weekdays. But the film managed to sustain during the second weekend and performed well. This has even assured the buyers. Now they are looking for one more weekend for the film to achieve the hit status. Well, this looks possible now.

Valimai which relied on action stunts and some family elements generated repeat audience. The film achieved mixed talk. However the star power of Ajith Kumar is pulling off this film single handedly. This made the film to even gross 150 cr mark worldwide. Suriya’s ET which is about to release on March 10 is also not bothering Valimai it seems. The exhibitors are still believing in Valimai. Some of them are not even interested to replace Valimai with ET.

The hit status for Tamil Nadu is around 120 crores approximate including the expenses and the film has collected close to 105 crs gross for 13 days. The film just needs another strong weekend for a clean hit status in Tamil Nadu. Ajith’s star power has helped pulling the family audience to the theatres despite mixed reviews.

Suriya’s ET Pre-release business and Box office classifications

Suriya’s Etharkkum Thunindhavan (ET) is all set to release tomorrow after a long wait. The Kollywood star is hoping to make a roaring comeback to the big screens this time. His last couple of films Soorari Pottru released (Akasam Nee Hadduraa in Telugu) and Jai Bhim released directly on OTT. These films were well appreciated and Suriya’s performance received special acclaim. However, fans now want Suriya to replicate that success on the big screen.

Coming to the movie’s business, Suriya’s ET has fetched Rs 32 cr from Tamil Nadu. Kerala Rs 2.75 Cr, Karnataka Rs 3.5 Cr, AP/TG Rs3.5 Cr, ROI Rs2Cr, and Overseas Rs12 Cr are the figures for the rest of the territories. Overall, the film has done a pre-release business of Rs 56 crores worldwide. It needs to collect around Rs 115 crores gross to achieve a clean hit status.

Pandiraja has directed this action thriller and Sun Pictures have bankrolled this ambitious project. Priyanka Arul Mohan will star opposite Suriya in this film. Suriya’s ET will release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Pandiraj is hoping of repeating the success of Pasanga 2 which was his earlier collaboration with Suriya. The 2015 children’s film featured the Kollywood star as a child psychiatrist and was a critically acclaimed and box-office hit.

Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s much awaited movie Radhe Shyam’s is just two days away from its release. The thrill is getting higher and the excitement is gearing up. Young Rebel Star Prabhas movie is coming after two and half years. The curiosity rose up after the release trailer. As the movie is heading up for release, censor is done and the run time is locked. Radhe Shyam is censored with U/A and is all set to release on 11th March.

Radhe Shyam Telugu has censored with U/A and runtime is 150 minutes as per censor certificate. The makers again removed few scenes from the censored part. Now the final output is 138 Minutes which is very plus for the movie. Love stories need a crisp runtime with beautiful songs and emotional content. Radhe shyam with 138 minutes is a perfect runtime for such a love story if director use that in a proper way, it can do wonders at box office.

Prabhas fans disappointed with Radhe Shyam USA distributor

With just a couple of days to go for Radhe Shyam’s release, Prabhas fans are in a mixed state at the moment. While the excitement of seeing the ‘Young Rebel Star’ on-screen after almost three years is giving them a different high, the US release is causing some anxious moments for some.

Radhe Shyam USA rights have been bought by Great India Films. They promised that the movie will have a record release across the USA with 1166 locations. But now, the situation has turned quite opposite and the movie is not even releasing in half of the locations that they have mentioned.

In addition to this, the planning of the shows has also been quite bad. Most of the theatres where Telugu movies traditionally do well, have not yet open the bookings of Radhe Shyam. Along with this, another worrying aspect is that in many main centers, Radhe Shyam has been allotted smaller screens and extra shows are not being added as well.

This unplanned release has left a lot of Prabhas fans in disbelief and disappointment as they were hoping f a bumper opening. But now with Great India Films’ lack of proactiveness, this period romantic drama might miss out on big numbers.

Shruti Hassan Joins Megastar’s 154th Film on Women’s Day

Megastar Chiranjeevi is coming up with interesting projects. After Aacharya Chiranjeevi has Godfather with Mohan Raja, Mega 154 with Bobby and Bhola Shankar with Meher Ramesh in the line up.

Last year on the eve of megastar’s birthday the team of mega 154 released the first look. And it received tremendous response. Megastar graced in a mass avatar. Mythri movie makers are the producers for Mega 154. The team announced the lead actress of this project on the eve of women’s day.

The gorgeous and talented Shruti Haasan joined the film’s cast. Though it is not new for Shruti Haasan to feature in massy commercial entertainers, she is joining hands with megastar for the first time.

From the first look itself the film is projecting to be a commercial mass entertainer. Music is being composed by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad while Arthur A Wilson handles the cinematography.

Suriya’s Etharkkum Thunindhavan stylized as ET is about to release on March 11. Suriya is expecting to bounce back with this film. This film is directed by Pandiraj who earlier had hits with Namma Veettu Pillai and Kadaikutty Singam, released as Chinababu in Telugu. Both became hits in Tamil. Suriya too have okayed this film considering this. But all of a sudden, theatre owners now are not interested to screen Suriya’s ET over already running Ajith’s Valimai. Well, this is shocking.

Valimai starring Ajith Kumar and Karthikeya of Rx100 fame released on February 24 achieved mixed talk amidst huge hype. The film had an earth shattering opening day and a good weekend. However this film lost pace after first weekend but picked up during second weekend with repeat audience. The film has already crossed 150 cr gross mark worldwide. It is still running in the theatres. Now it looks theatre owners are still confident about Valimai’s third weekend over ET’s release.

ET’s bookings are not so encouraging in Tamil Nadu. Exhibitors now seem not interested to screen ET over Valimai. Valimai had a strong second weekend due to the repeat audience. Star power of Ajith is helping the film. So, the exhibitors are expecting the same trend for the next weekend. It is making them think that it is not worth to replace Valimai with ET.
