Allu Arjun is now being flooded with offers from the South as well as the North. He has received offers from multiple big production houses in Bollywood.

Just recently, Lyca Productions have approached Allu Arjun for a movie with Atlee. Reports suggest that Lyca has offered Allu Arjun a whopping 100 crores in remuneration for his movie with Atlee.

Keerthy Suresh’s Good Luck Sakhi has finally gotten a new release date. The film has faced multiple hurdles so far, with numerous delays. It was originally scheduled to release on June 3rd, 2021, then got pushed to November 26th, December 10th, and then December 31st.

The film is now finally releasing on January 28th, 2022 in theatres. It will be interesting to see whether Keerthy Suresh and the team of Good Luck Sakhi will be able to attract the audiences into theatres during this uncertain time of the third wave of COVID-19.

Good Luck Sakhi is a sports romantic drama set in a rural backdrop. The teaser and songs look promising so far, but there are a lot of concerns around the film.

There have been little to no promotions for the film so far, which simply doesn’t work in today’s age. Apart from the songs and teaser, there has been no promotional content around the film.

TFI makers and heroes serious on Rajamouli

The recent RRR release date update has once again raked up tensions in Tollywood. TFI makers, as well as heroes of upcoming Tollywood biggies, are now serious on Rajamouli. The ace director made this release date announcement without consulting any of the other film units. This has made other film units concerned about which date RRR will pick.

Earlier in December, when RRR was scheduled to release on 7th January, a meeting was held among Tollywood producers and Bheemla Nayak was requested to postpone. It was because of RRR that Bheemla Nayak had to moe its release. In the end, even RRR couldn’t release in January due to Covid.

Now with RRR announcing 18th March as well as 28th April as release dates without any consultation, makers of Tollywood big releases Bheemla Nayak, F3, Acharya, and Radhe Shyam are unhappy. A small word over this update to other TFI makers would have been great and saved everyone this anxiety.

The makers of RRR faced many challenges right before the release and had to postpone January release. On one hand, there was the Omicron scare and on the other, there was the AP government ticket prices issue. These challenges made the situation quite tense for the movie unit as well as the fans who are eagerly waiting for this project.

Now with situation becoming better on both fronts, Rajamouli has decided to step forward and release this magnum opus.

The teaser of Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali is out now. The teaser starring Sudheer Babu and Krithi Shetty promises an interesting concept. It was supposed to release a week ago but got delayed due to technical issues.

From the looks of the teaser, Sudheer Babu plays a successful director who has scored a lot of commercial hit movies using the ‘masala’ formula. For his next movie, he wants to make a film with his heart, for which he needs to cast a girl that resembles a princess, who is none other than Krithi Shetty.

Krithi plays a role that is very similar to her role in Shyam Singha Roy. She plays an eye doctor who is allergic to movies but Sudheer Babu is hellbent on casting her in his next movie. Ultimately she is convinced but, under one condition. What is the condition? We will have to wait for the movie to hit the theatres to know this.

The film also stars Srinivas Avasarala, Vennela Kishore, and Rahul Ramakrishna in prominent roles. Mohana Krishna Indraganti who has previously directed Sudheer in V and Sammohanam is the director. Benchmark Studios and Mythri Movies have produced the film together. Vivek Sagar is the music director.

Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was released during Sankranthi 2020 and became an instant blockbuster. The movie was a perfect commercial entertainer, that went on to become an industry hit(Non-Bahubali).

To cash on the success of the Telugu version, Allu Aravind, Bhushan Kumar, and Aman Gill came forward to remake the film in Hindi. The movie titled Shehzada stars Karthik Aryan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.

But just recently, Goldmines Telefilms announced that the Hindi dubbed version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will be released in theatres on January 26th. This is a clear strategy to bank on the success of Pushpa-The Rise.

This caused panic among the makers of Shehzada as this move would severely affect the collections of Shehzada. But, fortunately, the two parties came to an agreement after some convincing and money.

There will be no release of the Hindi dubbed version in theatres. However, this is not completely good news, the Hindi dubbed version will still release on TV on the Dhinchaak Movie Channel, owned by Goldmines Telefilms itself.

The film will release on Youtube as well as on TV on 6th February 2022 simultaneously. This could have a negative impact on the overall box office collections of Shehzada.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata updates to start from this day

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata updates have dried down for a while. The makers have kept away from sharing anything much to the fan’s disappointment. However, very soon that all is going to change.

Currently, the shoot of the film is going at a brisk pace. A number of crew members including Keerthy Suresh and SS Thaman have tested positive. Hence, the makers are taking all necessary precautions. In such a situation, the team doesn’t want to make any rushed decisions and is focussing only on quality output. Bangarraju was released on 14th January on the occasion of Sankranthi. The film opened to extraordinary collections on its first weekend due to the festival advantage, and due to no occupancy restrictions.

But the real test was after the festival period and, Bangarraju has failed the test. The film dropped heavily after the first weekend. This is not an uncommon trend as most films drop in collections after their first weekend. Even films like Love Story, Akhanda, Pushpa-The Rise, and Shyam Singha Roy dropped on the weekdays.

But the difference is, Bangarraju has failed to pick up during the weekends as well, whereas the above-mentioned movies saw a sharp rise in their 2nd and 3rd weekends. This is a worrying sign for Nagarjuna and the team of Bangarraju.

Even the Friday night shows, which are normally good have been shockingly poor. The advance bookings of Bangarraju for the 2nd weekend have been disappointing as well. This is a clear sign that the film has run only due to the festival, and the content is weak. Most of the theatres are running at deficits as well.

Bangarraju also stars Naga Chaitanya Krithi Shetty and, Ramya Krishna in lead roles. Kalyan Krishna is the director of the movie. Anup Rubens is the music director of the film.

Pelli SandaD is a retelling of K. Raghavendra Rao’s 1996 film titled Pelli SandaD, which starred Roshan’s dad Srikanth.
