Ever since the introduction of the Coronavirus in the Indian theatrical business, it has destroyed the trade business like never before. There is one primary reason for this phenomenon. Firstly, people do not want to step out of the comfort of their homes to watch an average film.
This is especially the case with low-budget and medium-budget films. Unless it is a star-driven venture, people simply do not want to waste their money in the theatres. We have seen this trend in the recent past where even a good movie like Ante Sundaraniki failed to meet trade expectations.
Now, the Ram Pothineni-led action drama The Warrior is up for release, and the team seems to be taking a huge risk. At a time when audiences are not stepping into theatres even when prices are low, the team is opting for maximum ticket prices.
This is a huge risk for the team and only time will tell if this move will work in their favor or not. Apart from Ram, the movie also stars Aadhi Pinishetty, Krithi Shetty, and Nadhiya in important roles. N Linguswamy is the director of the movie and DSP is the music director.
