Radhe Shyam heading towards biggest disaster in all other languages

Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam released this Friday amidst massive hype but mixed reviews. This pan-India biggie has been one of the most awaited films from the Young Rebel Star. However, the film has been a disappointing fare, especially in non-Telugu markets. The film’s visuals and production values were well appreciated but clearly, such technical brilliance is not enough to set box-office on fire.

Hindi and Tamil markets saw huge drops on day two after disastrous openings on Friday. The film’s collections didn’t see a steep rise and the second-day collections remained static. Other languages have also seen a similar result with the movie not finding many takers. Radhe Shyam is now heading towards being the biggest disaster with less than 20% recovery in other languages.

The Telugu version of Radhe Shyam collected ₹35.1Crs share on its opening day. While the opening as expected was good, it failed to enter the top 3 Tollywood openings worldwide list. Radhe Shyam recovered 25% of its theatrical value on Day 1. The film is moving pretty slow at the box office and a complete recovery looks highly unlikely.

Pooja Hegde starred opposite Prabhas in this romantic drama with Satyaraj, Jagapathy Babu, Sachin Khedkar featuring in supporting roles.

Koratala Siva in dilemma on Acharya’s runtime

Koratala Siva has been a worried man for quite some time now. The release of Acharya has faced countless hurdles and delays and the star director even faced many battles on the personal front. Now that the film is ready to release this summer after all these delays, he is facing another dilemma.

Reportedly, Acharya rough copy has come up to a runtime of 3 hours. Koratala believes that the movie has enough depth and substance to keep the audience engaged for the entire duration. However, in the current circumstances, this could be a risky move as huge money has been invested so far on the film.

A runtime of three hours in most cases is considered a disadvantage. A final decision will be made soon whether to trim out the scenes to keep run time crisp or go with full length.

Acharya stars Ram Charan along with Megastar Chiranjeevi. Kajal Agarwal and Pooja Hegde play the female lead in this action drama. Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy have co-produced the film under Konidela Productions and Matinee Entertainments respectively. Mani Sharma has composed the music for this project.

Rashmika is making her Bollywood debut later this year with ‘Mission Majnu’ with Siddharth Malhotra. She has bagged another biggie ‘Goodbye’ in which she will be seen alongside Amitabh Bachchan.

Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga also has an impressive lineup at the moment. After Ranbir’s Animal, he will direct Prabhas in the latter’s landmark 25th film titled ‘Spirit’. An official announcement was made last year.

The announcement date for NTR’s next film is locked

Buchi Babu Sana created sensation with his debut film Uppena last year. Everyone involved in the film got good name and fame. Lead actors Vaishnav Tej and Krithy Shetty received good offers after the release. So as the director Buchi Babu. Second film is very crucial for the directors career.

Buchi babu is on cloud nine when NTR called him and told that let’s do a movie. He impressed NTR with his script too and finalised a movie. The official announcement is coming out next month.

Mythri movie makers are planning to made an official announcement of this film on 11th April, 2022. A lot of things being heard about the movie even before the official announcement. If the rumours are true, NTR and Buchibabu are coming up with a sports backdrop film in which the young tiger will be playing a kabaddi player’s role.

It is even heard that Makers are trying to rope in Jahnavi Kapoor for the female lead. Some went on and said that the periodic sports drama is even titled ‘Pedhi’. Let’s wait for the official announcement to know how many are these are facts.

Suriya’s ET performing well on the weekend at TN box-office.

Suriya’s Etharkkum Thunindhavan stylized as ET is about to release on March 11. Suriya is expecting to bounce back with this film. This film is directed by Pandiraj who earlier had hits with Namma Veettu Pillai and Kadaikutty Singam, released as Chinababu in Telugu. This will also be the comeback film of Suriya after his recent 2 films, Soorarai Pottru, released as Akasam nee hadduraa and Jai Bhim’s release on OTT. The film achieved a negative talk and the opening figures of the film are not good even.

But after a low opening day, ET had a decent Day 2 at the box-office. Day 3 too was excellent and more than Day 1 in many centers. The Advance bookings are even excellent for the Day 4 which is Sunday. Finally this has been an excellent weekend for Suriya after a long time. But it has to be seen how the film performs during the weekdays and the second weekend.

However ET has not received any kind of good openings and it is going towards a disaster in Telugu Box-office. Radhe Shyam which released a day later has completely taken over the box-office. ET has no chance in Telugu Market as of now.

Radhe Shyam starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde released on March 11 yesterday in all Indian languages. The film has managed to get a mixed talk.  Prabhas who once was a regional hero became the country’s sensation over night with the huge success of Bahubali. This is also his next after Blockbuster Bahubali and Action entertainer Sahoo. The film has music by Justin Prabhakar. For the Background score Thaman was brought in for the film. Now during the success meet Thaman said there were people giving negative reviews of Radhe Shyam.

Thaman has become darling for almost all the directors recently with his chartbusters scores and albums. He has been popular for his background score recently with Akhanda. To cash the same, makers of radhe shyam included him in the nick of the time. His Background score is also getting positive feedback from people who had seen Radhe Shyam. Thaman who remains active in Twitter closely watches every tweet. So he had seen some of the people giving negative feedback for the film. He said there are some people telling that the film is not racy and often became slow.

He took a dig at them and even offered them to forward to make a film instead. Well he clearly looks disappointed. Radhe Shyam being a love story is felt slow by many who expected films on par with Sahoo and Bahubali.

Prabhas should understand that money is important than promises

Prabhas has signed two projects with Sujeeth and Radha Krishna Kumar before Bahubali 2. Sahoo shooting started before Bahubali 2 release itself. The film has even done well at the box office but a heavy loss venture in other languages. Doing a film again with a new comer of budget around 300 crores is also a huge risk but Prabhas had gone ahead with Radhe Shyam to stand on his promise to the director of Radha Krishna Kumar.

But now it appears that the result is shocking in other languages. The movie has started on a disastrous note and decent in Telugu. With the mixed talk it appears that it is possible to recover the amounts in Telugu too. There are lot of times when we films getting cancelled depending upon the situation. Recently Allu Arjun too has cancelled Icon and Boyapati Srinu project after witnessing Pushpa’s success and euphoria.

What Prabhas has achieved with by standing on his promise is also important. Buyers have lost huge amount and producer alos lost the amount. Prabhas has a great image to appeal to the Pan-Indian audience. It’s better if he starts thinking in a better way for the movie buyers and audiences.

Yes Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation is planning a biggest ever May Day celebrations. Usually May Day is celebrated on 1st May by all the employee federations. Each industry will have their own celebrations. So as the film industry. But this time the event is going to be huge with around ten thousand members attendance. And for this huge event the guest to be special. And when it comes to film industry mega star is always special and why not! So Megastar Chiranjeevi is the chief guest for the massive event that is being organised by Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation.

As like many industries, film industry also struggled during covid. A lot of employees got effected financially. Then the big hearts in industry came forward and helped many employees. And now the shootings are resumed and film industry is back on track with big movie releases. It is good to see when employees get back to work and the industry is being flourished. Sukumar and Team still working on Pushpa The Rule

Pushpa starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna became a nationwide sensation. The initial hype and the songs of the film helped it big time. Allu Arjun who used to be one of the young actors once in Tollywood earned himself a big name from this film. It brought him an overnight stardom throughout the country. Many celebrities and cricketers started imitating the mannerisms in the film even. Earlier only his films got most dubbed views on YouTube. But with Pushpa he managed to score a big hit.

Originally planned as a single film Pushpa was made into 2 parts just on the lines of Bahubali. The initial part concentrated only about the rise of Pushpa and the beginning of the war between Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil who played the role of SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The second part as said concentrates on the rule of Pushpa as the red sandalwood smuggler. Sukumar has already started writing on the second part.

Pushpa is also a success in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. But in Telugu it was somehow effected because of the reduced ticket prices in AP. Director Sukumar is making sure to make the second part more successful than the first part. Sukumar and his team are full busy working on the script. The script has not been finalised yet. As there are lot of expectations on the film Sukumar is taking care of the film.
