The Telugu Film Producers Guild has been taking a lot of initiative to revive the theatrical market once again. They have been conducting timely meetings to discuss various aspects as such as OTT release, remunerations of actors, ticket rates, and so on.

Just today, they let out a press note which has created quite the talk in the industry. They are planning to withhold the shooting of films from August 1st, 2022 to sit down and discuss the concerns of the industry until suitable solutions are found.

Post the COVID-19 pandemic with the changing revenue situations and increasing costs, it has become very important for the producers to discuss the issues in the industry. In the guild’s own words, “It is very important that we discuss our issues as a community.”
