Ram Charan- Shankar’s RC15 next schedule details

After the humungous success of RRR, Ram Charan has now shifted his focus on the next pan-India biggie RC 15. Shankar, who is quite confident of the project has decided to resume the next schedule at the earliest. The next portion of the film will start on April 5th in Amritsar.

The shooting of this political thriller is going on at a brisk pace with major schedules in Pune and East Godavari being already completed. A special set was erected in Hyderabad for a grand song shoot and that also has been wrapped up.

RC15 is a political drama with a powerful message. This film is going to be on an anti-corruption theme. Ram Charan’s character is going to play an anti-corruption crusader in this social drama. This film is going to be unlike any of the other Shankar films. Reportedly, heavy usage of VFX and costly sets that are a part of Shankar’s films will be missing in RC15.

Dil Raju is producing the film while SS Thaman will compose the music for the film. Kiara Advani will play the lead role opposite Ram Charan in RC 15. The makers are aiming to release the film for Sankranti 2023.

Blockbuster RX 100 combination is back!

2018 romantic drama RX 100 was a surprise hit at the box- office and catapulted the careers of Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput. The film also shot director Ajay Bhupathi into the limelight. The music of the film by Chetan Bharadwaj and Ajay Bhupathi’s impressive storytelling made the movie a major success. Made on a budget of around Rs 2 crore, the film went on to gross more than Rs 20 crores and stunned everyone.

Now Kartikeya and Ajay Bhupati coming together for another film soon. The movie will be bankrolled by UV Creations and the duo is hoping the film will repeat the success of RX 100. Both Kartikeya and Ajay are in desperate need of a hit.

The young actor’s last two films Raja Vikramarka and Chavu Kaburu Challaga failed at the box office. While he played the negative role in Ajith starrer Valimai, the film failed to impress the Telugu audience. Ajay Bhupati, on the other hand, saw the failure of his ambitious project Mahasamudram last year.

Coming to this upcoming project under UV Creations, the film will go on floors in a short time. An official announcement regarding the cast and crew will be made soon.

RRR opening day figures have been nothing short of monstrous. The advance bookings and occupancy trends had all predicted the movie to set the box office on fire and now the same has been confirmed officially. In fact, RRR has beaten SS Rajamouli’s previous box-office monster Baahubali 2 by a comfortable distance.

The total Day 1 collection from India now totals up to Rs 156 crores. RRR got off to a similar thunderous start in the overseas market as well. The film has collected a whopping Rs 42 crores from the US market while collecting Rs 23 crores from the rest of the overseas centres.

With this, the total RRR opening day collections now stand at Rs 223 crores which is the highest ever in Indian film history. RRR has got off to an outstanding start and the trend is expected to continue over the weekend as well. The film is holding strong in the north as well as TN regions. RRR fails to beat Prabhas Sahoo Hindi opening

RRR failed to beat Prabhas Sahoo Hindi opening collections. Prabhas Sahoo which released in 2019 in Hindi made a 24 nett with it’s Hindi Version. Prabhas popularity even made the film gross more than 100 cr alone in Hindi market. RRR starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan was also made on a Pan-Indian level by director, S.S. Rajamouli. It was even heavily promoted by Rajamouli and lead heroes’ interviews and events. But RRR failed to beat Prabhas Sahoo. It only made 19 cr Approx.

RRR even underperfomed in many circuits compared to Sahoo. It collected 6.5 cr appx in Mumbai whereas Sahoo did 7.3 Cr. In Delhi/UP circuit, RRR made only 3.85 cr appx on the other hand Sahoo did 6.21 crs. In east punjab it is around 1.75 cr for RRR and 2.49 crs for Sahoo. Comparatively, Sahoo has an upper hand in every circuit. Prabhas who rose to many heights with popularity after Bahubali. Sahoo carried the same hype for him even after Bahubali. But RRR which has Jr.NTR and Ram Charan are less known when compared to Prabhas and Allu Arjun.

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa recently did good in Hindi because of the popularity and craze Allu Arjun holds throughout the country. This even helped the team even without any aggressive promotions. But RRR was promoted aggressively by the team. It has to be seen how RRR performs after this weekend.

Theatre owners killing movies, RRR drops in B,C centers because of high ticket prices

RRR had a massive start at Box-office and theatre owners are continuing the flat rates/ hike for even Day 2 which is affecting the B & C centers. There is no major effect in A centers but in other centers, the film is witnessing huge drops in footfalls for Day 2 noon shows. The final numbers will be bigger because of huge ticket price but footfalls will be lesser than recent biggies, Akhanda, Pushpa and Bheemla Nayak which is not good for cinema.

Theatre owners should understand how to put a ticket price in most centers for all the seats in theatres. They are applying the same price for all and audience are not liking this. Generally audience expect a less price for several classes. But theatre owners applying same rates is not good. This kills the repeat value and also the interest. This is also one of the reasons why AP government came up with reduced ticketing prices.

Theatre owners must also understand the equations. If such movie rates prevail, people will naturally wait for the OTT release which is not at all good. Hope they understand this. RRR team must also look into this issue and resolve such incidents.

Hats off MahaRajamouli, tweeted shankar after watching RRR. Shankar, one of the greatest directors of South and also India looks very much impressed by RRR. Rajamouli who is riding high with the success of his Bahubali has come up with RRR. He roped in two of the biggest stars of Telugu Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. He planned this project also on a Pan-India level. The film released yesterday amidst great hype and is ruling the box-office.

RRR already crossed 100 cr share worldwide on it’s opening day which is a huge record. Star power of both heroes is helping the film big time. Many celebrities watching the film coming up with praising tweets in their own style. Sukumar, one of the directors came up with a warm note saying no one can come close to Rajamouli. Many other directors too are giving rave reviews and appreciating him alot. Director Shankar has joined the list now.

Actor Aadhi Pinnisetty is all set to marry Tamil co-star Nikki Galrani pretty soon. The couple got engaged in a private ceremony that was attended only by their close ones. Aadhi and Nikki have been dating for a couple of years.

The rumours about the couple became stronger when Nikki was spotted at Aadhi’s father Ravi Raja Pinnisetty’s birthday bash recently. The couple has appeared together in films like Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka, Marakathamani. Nikki is yet to act in a straight Telugu film and primarily appears in Tami and Malayalam films.
