NTR did extremely well in emotional scenes that brings tears to eyes for the emotionally expressive audience. He credited Ram Charan’s role as well which is very important for a multistarrer. NTR’s expression for Charan’s Seetharama Raju entry took the scene to next level. In the second half, NTR takes the charge and carried the movie on his shoulders whenever SSR takes a back stage. Much Hyped and most awaited film of the year RRR finally arrived in theatres today. The pre release business is exceptional and huge opening day numbers are awaited. With the promotions , the expectations on the movie reached sky high. RRR has crossed all the expectations and had terrific start at Box office. With the biggest ever release, A record opening in Telugu states is expected.

The movie also registers Strongest opening in All languages. The evening and night shows are Terrific in all languages. 70Cr share in Telugu states , More than Double digit opening in Tamil Nadu , 15Cr+ gross in Karnataka, 2.5Cr+ gross in Kerala and 18Cr net in Hindi is expected.

The film is released widely all over the world. So even overseas records are expected. With the release it has, 8M+ is expected in Overseas on Day1. The film is expected to cross Baahubali2 opening day collections. We have to wait for the official numbers to declare it. Baahubali2 has collected 210Cr+ gross on Day1 and RRR has all the chances to beat this opening.

Sukumar direction amazed us, Sukumar writings thrilled us. Sukumar’s talent always excites us. He is one of the creative directors in our Tollywood. So it is always good to see if one talented person praises or notices other’s work.

Sukumar and Rajamouli always appreciate one another. It is been constant turnover for Sukumar and Rajamouli. Whenever Sukumar’s film releases, Rajamouli praises Sukumar and vice versa. Now with the release of RRR, it’s Rajamouli’s turn to be in receiver’s seat. And Sukumar did his part it in his style.

Sukumar articulated the lines so beautifully to show his respect towards SSR. The chosen words are simple but the depth in the lines is too fine. Though Sukumar fumbles when he speak he is the master when he write his thoughts down.

RRR for real hype it created is unreal and the excitement that developed around it is infectious. RRR team promoted so well that every movie lover waited for release. The anticipation reached to the level that no one wants to miss the FDFS. Knowing this, the stake holders planned to mint the money from benefit shows. With the craze of Rajamouli , NTR and Ramcharan the benefit shows in Ceded area are sold at very huge prices. Most of the benefit shows are bought by the fans. It is heard that the benefit show tickets are sold at 1500, 1000 and 500 depends on the Centers.

Theatre owners sold the benefit shows at a price where each ticket costed around 1000 for the buyers itself. So they have to sell it at 1200 or 1500 to gain the profit from the show. But In Most of the Centers, the audience eagerly waited for buying tickets, but after knowing the cost their excitement took the back step. So they felt spending above 1000rs is too much. Many opted out to buy benefit show tickets. With no other choice, the tickets were sold at lower places. As a result some of the buyers incurred huge losses for the Benefit show buyers in many ceded centers.

RRR crosses 3 Million premieres, 1st Indian movie to achieve this feat

RRR starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan released today on 25 March amidst huge hype. The film is made on a Pan-Indian level and released in all Indian languages. RRR is already on it’s way to cross the 100 cr gross on the opening day itself. Now the film has already set another milestone. RRR managed to cross 3 Million dollars Premieres and is also the first Indian film to achieve this rare feat.

It can be looked out as an all-out record chase by RRR in both AP/TS and US. It’s hourly gross reported $3,000,127 from 981 locations at 7:45 PM PST. Along with this RRR is also set to be the highest grosser for both Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. Rajamouli, the director of RRR is also a major reason for all these records. His earlier films especially Bahubali series have made a huge impact on audiences. They are still continuing the same following.

On the other hand, RRR advance bookings look dull in other languages. RRR was planned as a Pan-Indian release. We have to wait and see till this weekend. The theatrical business values are at around 500 crores worldwide. This is also the highest theatrical business for both heroes.

A Tollywood director who is totally different and some times weird is collaborating with a Kannada star hero who did some very unique movies. The two different personalities are RGV and Upendra. Both were controversial but started new trends and set new standards for their respective fields. RGV lost his lime light and shining now and then with some good projects and some very bad projects. On the other hand Kannada star changed his image from bad to good. Upendra did some Telugu remakes recently and gained some hits as an actor. This actor director recently announced his directorial come back. RGV is doing some low budget stuff announced a movie with Upendra that created a buzz.

The much-awaited day has come and RRR is all ours to experience and savour. The film saw multiple postponements and a number of hurdles in the past couple of years. But, its was Rajamouli’s passion and Tarak and Charan’s craze that kept the hype alive and kicking. Termed one of the most ambitious movies in Indian film history, RRR has all the makings of an all-time great film and the potential of registering humungous collections. But, the most important question still remains whether this pan-India biggie has enough to justify the hype it has created in the last few years. Does the movie carry enough firepower to capture the audience’s fancy for 3 hours? Will the movie create the magic that the Rajamouli has been promising? Let’s check out.

Story: Set in British ruled India of the early 1900s. RRR follows the travails and bravado of Bheem (Jr NTR) a heroic Gond tribal leader, and Alluri Seeta Rama Raju (Ram Charan) a ferocious police officer. The story starts with the kidnap of a young girl Malli from Adilabad forests by a British officer. Bheem is entrusted to bring the girl back and starts his journey and creates major havoc on the way. Alluri Seeta Rama Raju is tasked with catching this most wanted rebel. Both Bheem and Rama Raju become close friends unknowingly. However, all hell breaks loose when they find each other’s reality. What happens next is what the story is about.


Performances: Jr NTR and Ram Charan have put their blood and soul into the film. Their strong characterization is superbly backed by their flawless performances bringing Bheem and Rama Raju to life. Not just in action sequences, Jr NTR and Ram Charan have excelled in emotional scenes as well and have given their career-best performance in this movie of a lifetime. RRR totally depends on these two and they have simply outdone themselves and have proven their mettle as massive stars as well as solid performers. SS Rajamouli has balanced the two stars brilliantly and has captured the actors as per their strengths. Apart from the two leading men, all the others have bits and pieces roles. Ajay Devgn is dependable as always while Alia Bhatt has more of an extended cameo and looks great on screen. Olivia Morris, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Shriya Saran have not much apart from a filler duty which they do just fine. From the extended cast, Samuthrikani impresses the most. The core plot by Vijayendra Prasad is terrific and quite engaging and with Rajamouli’s trusted team of cinematographer Senthil and art director Sabu Cyril firing all guns, the output is top-notch as always. The duo successfully transports the audience to the world of the 1920s and keeps them engaged.

Analysis: RRR is a movie based on strong patriotic emotions and the macho heroism of the lead. While the heroism part of the film has been brilliantly captured by Rajamouli, the movie falters on the emotional front. Rajamouli keeps the audience engaged throughout the 3 hours which itself is a huge achievement these days. With a solid first half featuring outstanding intro scenes and brilliant interval bang, the ace director sets the movie quite well for a grand second half. However, the movie falters slightly post the interval due to certain editable scenes creating a lag. RRR makes a strong comeback from there, engaging the audience till the grand climax. The lag in the second half aside, the film certainly holds up to its hype and is certain to create collections history across centers.

The fans are definitely going to have a feast witnessing Tarak and Charan in their once-in-lifetime roles. Rajamouli has yet again played to his strengths and has transformed the audience successfully to his world of marvels. Lack of emotions aside, the action episodes will be remembered for a long and the movie has every ingredient of an all-time blockbuster. Now we just have to wait and watch the rampage that Bheem and Rama Raju create at the box office worldwide.

Vijay Devarakonda, who is riding high with the success of Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam is looking to further his popularity with Liger. Liger starring him alongside Ananya Panday is a boxing drama directed by Puri Jagannath. Puri Jagannath is also on high with the success of his recent film, Ismart Shankar. Now it is rumoured that there will Kashmir backdrop for Vijay Deverakonda’s next film with Shiva Nirvana.

The film tentatively titled, #VD12 will be produced by Dil Raju. An official announcement was also made on the same. Samantha is also rumoured to be the female lead. Anirudh is the music composer. Latest update on the film is also that the film is a love story based in Kashmir Backdrop. Director, Shiva Nirvana recent release Tuck Jagadish with Nani was a disappointment. There were even rumours about Vijay Deverakonda cancelling this project. This was however refuted by Shiva Nirvana.

Vijay Deverakonda currently doing Liger with Puri Jagannath okayed another project with him. This film is Jana Gana Mana, once planned with Mahesh Babu. However Puri is going ahead with this project with Vijay Deverakonda. Details of this project have not come yet. Karan Johar will be the producer for this project.

This is the highest theatrical business for both Jr.NTR and Ram Charan. Rajamouli earlier had this with his Bahubali 2. Now RRR is eyeing on the 100 cr opening in both Telugu States.

The film has terrific fan shows and night shows in Telugu states with massive occupancy and the bookings for the day 1 is extraordinary. The film as said is expected to cross the 100 cr gross in Telugu states. This is a record by a huge margin. There was never a hype for a film other than Bahubali with this range. The star power of Jr.NTR and Ram Charan is also adding up as an advantage. Rajamouli’s Bahubali craze is being continued with these openings.

On the other hand RRR in all the other languages seem to be not well. It is not on par with the range it is having in Telugu. Advance bookings are also not up to the mark. Kashmir Files which is ruling the Hindi Box-office is still going strong. We have to wait and see how RRR performs further.
