After countless hurdles and multiple release date postponements, Karthikeya 2 has finally seen the light at the end of the tunnel. The film was supposed to release on 22nd July but was postponed because of Dil Raju’s Thank You movie.
But as always, content is king and Karthikeya 2 has proved that. There was almost little to no excitement for Thank You but Karthikeya 2 has been generating great buzz among audiences.
Karthikeya 2 opened with good premiere numbers and the advance bookings are excellent in all areas. The shows in most of the regions are houseful which is also a great sign. The response from the USA premieres has been overwhelmingly positive as well.
With the negative reviews surrounding Macherla Niyojakavargam, Karthikeya 2 will have an uninterrupted run at the box office. In addition to that, it will also enjoy a long weekend due to Independence Day, which will help the film immensely.
It is very clear to see the effort and vision of Nikhil and director Chandoo. It is especially very satisfying to see the success of Nikhil as he has always been a very hard-working actor in the industry. The reviews from the local audience are also great and at this rate, the film is heading towards a Hit status.
