Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 has been nothing short of rage at the box office. It has been wreaking havoc ever since its release on 13th August in theatres. It has not only performed well domestically in the two Telugu states but has outshined movies like Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan in the North belts. In fact, the Day 4 collections have been greater than Day 3, Day 3 greater than Day 2, and so on.
Not to mention, it has also performed exceedingly well in the overseas markets as well, with over $600K+ gross in the USA alone. It is an incredible feat for a film to achieve such promotions in unknown territory with such minimal promotions.
The movie enjoyed a terrific opening weekend and the dream run is not over yet. It is running super strong on the weekdays as well. It has already crossed the 20 crores share mark in just 5 days. This is including all the versions of the film. This is also the highest-grossing film in Nikhil’s career.
At this rate, Karthikeya is all set to cross the 30 crores share mark by this weekend. It also has all the potential to join the 40 crores share club as well. It will have an uninterrupted run till the release of Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger on 25th August.
