Prabhas Adipurush team planning to release first look on this occasion

After the debacle of Radhe Shyam, Prabhas as well as fans have set high expectations on his upcoming project Adipurush. The mythological drama will see him playing Lord Ram and will co-star Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan.

Adipurush will be releasing worldwide on 12th January 2023. The mythological drama will release in 3d all over and this piece of news has got all the film lovers excited.

Meanwhile, the makers are planning to release the film’s first look on the occasion of Sri Ramanavami on April 10th.

The shoot of the film is already wrapped up and Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan completed their portions in record time. Om Raut wasted no time finishing the film at the earliest so that the tedious post-production can commence. Adipurush was extensively shot using chroma and the background will be added later. VFX technicians from Hollywood are on the project giving a grand look to the film.

Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam has been one of the most disappointing box-office fares of recent times. The film was released amidst massive expectations and positive buzz but failed to live up to the hype. After a roaring start to its run, the romantic drama saw huge drops post the first weekend.

Now Prabhas Radhe Shyam is gearing up for its OTT release. The film had its theatrical release on 11th March and as expected will make its OTT premiere within the first month. Radhe Shyam will release on Amazon Prime Video on 1st April in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada.

The OTT giant made the announcement a short while ago. Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam will include only the South Indian languages and the Hindi release is slated for a later date.

The film as expected got off to a flying start despite negative reviews. However, after the initial euphoria died down, Radhe Shyam saw huge drops and massive losses in every territory.

The 1st weekend Hindi gross was astonishingly low and is in the range of Rs 15 Cr. This is not even 60% of Prabhas’ previous film Saaho opening day number. Radhe Shyam is the first-ever Tollywood film to record Rs 100 crore + losses. Now, Prabhas has shifted all his focus on his upcoming pan-India biggies Salaar and Adipurush.

RRR is performing exceptionally well at the box-office but the mass centers have been effected with ticket price hike. The high ticket prices have affected the footfalls/collections and they are not up to the mark. The areas were sold at record prices and the film needs to have a very good run to recover. It’s a mistake of theatre owners also to keep the huge ticket prices which is not worthy for some theatres and mass circuits.

In other languages, the film should have very solid run at least for another 10 days to recover the amount. Today is a big day for the film. The film performed very well during the weekend. Day 2 and Day 3 are on par and are also even bigger than day1 in other languages. But the collections of Day 4 decide the film’s fate during the weekdays. The film has collected 206.75 crores worldwide in the weekend only from Telugu Version which is phenomenal. Hindi nett is close to 75Cr and yet another 150Cr is needed for Hit status in Hindi belt. Coming to Tamil version, it has collected a gross of 32Cr and another 50cr is needed for breakeven mark. In Karnataka the film has to collect 40cr more in Kerala the film has grossed 12cr and it has to collect another 14cr for Hit status. Today Noon shows are good in all areas and languages which is a good sign for the film.

The film is doing good in other languages. The film’s largely dependent on other languages performances. The film is holding good in Hindi. But it has to do more to achieve a Pan-India hit status.

OTT release date locked for Mammootty’s Bheeshma Parvam

Mammootty’s Bheeshma Parvam has smashed many records since its release and has stood as the biggest Malayalam blockbuster of recent times. The film brought the Malayalam ‘Mega Star’ back to form and proved everybody that when it comes to setting box-office on fire, he’s still got it.

The film was released on 3rd March and collected Rs 6 crores gross on the opening day itself. It continued the same form over the weekend and registered Rs 22 crores and set a Mollywood record. The film is still running successfully in theatres in Kerala and already rumours of a remake have started in other industries.

Meanwhile, this gangster drama is all set for its OTT release soon. The film will release on Disney + Hotstar on April 1st. Disney + Hotstar Malayalam made an official announcement on the same and shared the news on Twitter.

Amal Neerad has directed Mammootty’s Bheeshma Parvam which stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, and Shine Tom in key roles. The film received wide acclaim for its screenplay and direction and Mammootty’s stellar performance stood as one of its biggest highlights.

Yash’s KGF2 is gearing up for a grand release and the countdown has begun with the release of its trailer yesterday. The pre-release business of the movie is giving quite positive vibes and it is definitely on its way to a strong start. KGF2 Telugu version has also picked up steam and the solid pre-release business is proof of that

In Telugu states, the business of KGF2 Telugu is much bigger than even Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak. The East Godavari theatrical rights for the film have gone for Rs 7 crores while Uttarandhra rights have fetched the makers a solid Rs 10 crores.

Compared to this, Bheemla Nayak did a pre-release business of Rs 6.4 crores in East Godavari. On the other hand, Uttarandhra’s business was done for Rs 9.2 crores. This shows the massive anticipation and craze in the trade circles for this much-awaited sequel.

The film stars Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, and Srinidhi Shetty among others. Prashant Neel is directing this action thriller and Hombale Films have produced it. After the massive success of the first installment, composer Ravi Basrur will look to repeat the same. KGF 2 is scheduled for a grand release on April 14th in theatres.

The makers of KGF 2 are looking to release the film in a whopping 6000 screens in India. Vijay’s Beast will release on the same day and it’s going to be an incredible feat for Hombale Films.

Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu next schedule details

Power Star Pawan Kalyan has shifted his complete focus to his action-adventure film Hari Hara Veera Mallu. The shoot faced a few hiccups last year due to Covid restrictions and Pawan being busy with Bheemla Nayak. However now the entire unit is geared up for this ambitious project and the next shooting schedule will start soon.

Director Krish will be resuming the shoot with a fresh schedule from April 6th. The title and motion poster were revealed earlier last year and impressed the audience with its quality of output. Krish has planned massive action blocks along with an interesting storyline that is set up in the 17th century.

Krish is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the film gets a grand look and Pawan Kalyan looks at his best here. Bollywood’s star action director Shyam Kaushal has been brought to compose grand-scale action scenes. He has earlier composed action sequences for Bollywood biggies like Padmaavat, Dangal and Dhoom 3.

The music will be composed by MM Keeravani under Mega Surya Productions. The film is a pan-India project and apart from Telugu will also release in Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Nidhi Agerwal will be seen alongside Pawan Kalyan in this prestigious project.

The film was initially planned to release on 29th April 2022. This date has now been pushed and Hari Hara Veera Mallu is now eyeing a Dusshera release.

RRR tops global box office, beats Batman to claim no.1 spot

RRR’s blockbuster run is creating massive waves all over the world. The SS Rajamouli action drama got off to a rocking start at the box office and has posted unimaginable numbers. The movie opened to positive reports amidst a huge buzz and collected a share of ₹108.79Crs on its first day with ALL-TIME RECORD numbers in 6 territories of Telugu States.

The film continued its terrific run on the 2nd and 3rd day as well to round up a blockbuster weekend. RRR has now collected Rs 480Cr gross on the 1st-weekend worldwide marking the highest collection over this weekend for any film. To put into context, Robert Pattinson starrer Batman collected Rs 350 crores over the same weekend.

This is a huge achievement for the Jr NTR- Ram Charan starrer action drama. The action drama has crossed $9M mark in the USA and is racing towards double digits. The film is expected to breakeven by before 2nd weekend only.
