After the debacle of his previous film Pushpaka Vimanam, the makers of Anand Deverakonda’s Highway have opted for a rather safe option. The film has gone for a direct OTT release and is streaming on Aha now.
The film released yesterday to mostly negative reviews. Highway revolves around Vishnu (Anand Deverakonda), a photographer who travels to Bengaluru and meets a woman Tulasi (Manasa Radhakrishnan) on the way.
The two become friends soon. However, the story takes a dark turn when they come across a serial killer who is baying for their blood.
Cinematographer turned director KV Guhan who earlier directed Kalyan Ram starter thriller 118 has directed this film as well. Highaway also stars Saiyami Kher, Satya, Abhishek Banerjee and John Vijay in key roles.
Venkat Talari has produced the film while Simon. K. King has composed the music for this horror thriller.
