Koratala Shiva said that Pawan Kalyan was his 2nd choice for the Siddha role in Acharya movie. Acharya starring Chiranjeevi in the lead role has his son Ram Charan doing an important role as a Multi-starrer. The character played by him is Siddha. Koratala Shiva recently interacted with the press about the film. He said that he would have chosen Pawan Kalyan for the Siddha role if not for Ram Charan.

The role which was earlier rumored to be offered to Mahesh Babu was rejected by him for unknown reasons. Koratala Shiva then had gone ahead with Ram Charan making it a Mega Multi-starrer. Pooja Hegde was casted oppostie Ram Charan in the film. The father – son duo earlier appeared alongside in several cameos in Magadheera, Bruce Lee and Khaidi No 150. But this will be a full length multi-starrer. This even brought lot of craze and hype for the film. Both even appeared in a song, Bhale Bhale Banjaara which was released recently and the song has garnered 12 Million views on YouTube in a week.

Kajal Aggarwal was casted opposite Chiranjeevi and she even appeared in Laahe Laahe song. But her role has completely been trimmed from the film. The film is about to release on 29th April this month.

Continues Tollywood biggies from past 2 months affecting upcoming releases

Tollywood has seen a series of biggies in the last couple of months. First, it was Bheemla Nayak that hit the screens in February. This was followed by Radhe Shyam and RRR in March and finally, KGF2 was released in April.

While this has been a big joyous occasion for movie lovers, it has also created new problems for them. Each of these movies released with ticket hikes and even the upcoming Megastar film Acharya has received hike permissions. This is causing major problems for a lot of middle-class audiences who simply cannot afford a family outing to theatres.

Now this effect is clearly showing on Acharaya. The advance bookings are not up to the mark even and with a solid combination of Charan and Chiranjeevi, the buzz in the family audience is quite low. The rising ticket prices are also expected to impact upcoming biggies such as Sarkaru Vaari Paata and F3 which will release next month.

With Tollywood biggies struggling to attract audiences to the theatres, it has already turned out to be a bad time for smaller films as well. It needs to be seen if the movie industry takes a step in this direction or not.

The countdown for Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s Acharya has begun with the film all set to release on 29th April. The censor formalities for Acharya have been completed and the movie received a UA certification. This action entertainer will have a runtime of 2 hours 34 minutes and Koratala Siva has ensured some lag has been trimmed from the final cut.

The censor screening has been largely positive and the second half of Acharya has received great reports overall. The movie needs to get off to a good start and solid word of mouth to gain a hit status.

The buzz for the movie is quite low and there is not the usual excitement amongst the audience. The movie’s songs have also failed to impress movie lovers. Laahe Laahe, Neelambari, and much-hyped multi-starrer song, Bhale Bhale Banjara too didn’t strike the chord.

After the debacle of Radhe Shyam, Prabhas has turned his entire focus on his upcoming mythological drama Adipurush. Om Raut is directing this big-budget epic that will also star Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon in pivotal roles. At the moment, Adipurush is one of the most awaited upcoming pan-India projects.

However, Telangana IT Minister KTR has some other opinions about the movie. The minister was speaking about how the BJP, which is the ruling party in the center has made institutions like CBI, ED, etc its pawns.

“Not just these institutions, BJP is also using films to further spread its propaganda all over the country. We saw that in the case of URI, Kashmir Files and the same is the case with Adipurush as well.”

This statement from KTR has irked many Prabhas fans who believe that such opinions do a massive disservice to their Darling who is working hard on bringing out great movies.

The mythological drama is based on Ramayan and is being directed by Om Raut. Prabhas will be playing the titular role of Adipurush (Lord Ram). The film also features Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh. The pan India project will release worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Just like other big releases in recent past, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya has also received permission for hikes in Telugu states. The film which is all set to release on April 29th has been given a Rs 50 hike permission in Andhra Pradesh.

In Telangana, the multiplexes have been permitted to price the tickets at Rs 354 and single screens can hike the prices to Rs 210. These hikes will be permitted only for the first week and after that theatres will have to get back to original prices.

Koratala Siva has directed this action entertainer which will see Mega Star Chiranjeevi alongside Mega Power Star Ram Charan. Pooja Hegde will be seen alongside Ram Charan in this multistarrer.

While Kajal Agarwal was also a part of this project and shot for many days, Koratala Siva has revealed that her portions have been removed from the film.

Dil Raju vs Warangal Srinu again, tough times for Acharya

Dil Raju vs Warangal Srinu is one battle that has picked up steam in the last couple of years. The clash between the two Nizam distributors started when Srinu bagged Krack and later made public statements on how Raju bullies exhibitors and others in Nizam.

Warangal Srinu is also planning to turn producer soon. According to reports, he is planning a project with a star hero and further details will be revealed soon.

Dil Raju, who has the Nizam rights for KGF: Chapter 2 is turning out to be the problem now. He stated that the Yash starrer pan-India film is running to full houses and in this condition, it would mean a loss to him if he removes and gives theatres to Acharya.

KGF2 Telugu version crosses Pawan Kalyan’s career-best numbers at the Box office

KGF2 and its victory run at the box office is stunning everyone. The movie is performing well across the territories and has established individual records in multiple versions. In Hindi, KGF2 became only the second south Indian movie after Baahubali 2 to join the Rs 300 crore club.

Now, it has achieved another interesting feat in Telugu as well. In just 11 days, the Telugu version has collected more than 90Cr share. By doing so, it’s all set to cross Pawan Kalyan’s career-best numbers (Bheemla Nayak 91Cr) by today. This is a huge feat for a dubbed movie to cross the highest collection of a top hero in another industry.

The film had an extraordinary 1st week at the box office and collected an overall share of 352.5Crs which is all-time 2nd highest 1st-week film only next to mighty Baahubali2. All versions of theatrical rights are valued at 350Crs and the film has managed to cross the Breakeven in just 7 Days.

This achievement is also a huge shock to many who underestimated KGF2 power at the box office. The Telugu states’ theatrical rights are valued at Rs 75Crs and This Prashant Neel directorial achieved breakeven in no time. The film is still holding a good screen count in Telugu.

The biggest blockbuster Kashmir Files OTT streaming date is out

Kashmir Files is one of the biggest blockbusters of 2022. The film made on a pretty small budget achieved massive milestones and crossed the Rs 250 crores mark at the box office effortlessly. The film follows the incidents of the famous Kashmir Pandit’s exodus from the valley during the early 1990s.

Kashmir Files had a modest release on 11th March 2022 and emerged as a box-office monster due to strong word of mouth. As the days progressed, hundreds of theatres were added for the film across India.

Interestingly, the OTT release date had to be postponed as the film was still performing strongly at the theatres. The film will be premiering on the Zee 5 OTT platform on the 13th of May and will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.

Vivek Agnihotri, who earlier directed Tashkent Files has helmed this film. It casts Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakravarthy, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar in key roles.

Suriya is making his way into Bollywood as producer with the critically acclaimed Soorarai pottru. Soorarai pottru dubbed into Telugu as Aakasam Nee Hadhura and received positive reviews all over. The film is taken from the life of Captain. Gopinath, the founder of Air Deccan. Akshay Kumar will essay the role of Captain Gopinath in the film.

Koratala confirms Kajal is not a part of Acharya movie

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is slated for release on coming Friday. Ram charan and Pooja Hegde paired up for Koratala Siva’s directorial. A lot of buzz is doing rounds about the lead actress for Chiranjeevi in Acharya. It is known that Kajal signed as heroine for the film. But in all the promotional stuff right from posters to trailer, Kajal is not seen. So it is heard that Kajal is not part of the film.

Talking about Kajal’s role in Acharya, Koratala Siva confirmed that Kajal will not be seen in the film. He told that they thought of having a heroine as it is a commercial entertainer. But the script has no place for Chiranjeevi’s love interest in the film. Though they shot with Kajal for 3 days, they decided to edit that part. Director told that he convinced Chiranjeevi and Kajal as he don’t want to add the character forcefully in the script.

Koratala Siva is glad as Kajal agreed and wished us good luck even after knowing that she won’t be part of the film anymore. So it is now confirmed that Chiranjeevi will not have any love interest in the movie. Hence there will not be any duets for the star hero as the role is powerful.
