గత కొంతకాలంగా తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమలో టికెట్ రేట్లు – ఓటిటి స్ట్రీమింగ్ ల మీద జరుగుతున్న చర్చలు తెలిసిందే. ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం కొన్ని రోజులు టికెట్ రెట్లు తక్కువ చేయడం, పరిశ్రమ నుంచి పెద్ద హీరోలు,దర్శకులు కలిసి వెళ్లి వాళ్ళ ఇబ్బందులు చెప్పుకున్న తరువాత తిరిగి రేట్లను పెంచుకునే వెసులుబాటు కల్పించింది.

అయితే ముందుగానే చెప్పుకున్నట్టు టికెట్ రేట్ల పెంపు అనేది భారీ బడ్జెట్ చిత్రాలకు సరిపోయినట్టు ఇతర పెద్ద సినిమాలకు లేదా మీడియం బడ్జెట్ సినిమాలకు వర్కౌట్ కాదు అని అనుభవం ద్వారా ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాలకు తెలిసి వచ్చింది.

దాంతో మళ్ళీ టికెట్ రెట్లు పాత GO ప్రకారం అంటూ కొత్త ప్రచారం మొదలుపెట్టారు. అగ్ర నిర్మాతల్లో ఒకరైన దిల్ రాజు నిర్మించిన F3 సినిమాకి తెలంగాణలో తక్కువ టికెట్ రేట్లు అంటూ ప్రచారం చేశారు. కానీ ఆ సినిమాకి నిజానికి టికెట్ రేట్లు పెద్దగా తగ్గించలేదు. గత డిసెంబర్ లో తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం అత్యవసర పరిస్థితుల్లో పెంచుకొమ్మన్న రేట్లనే F3 సినిమాకు కేటాయించారు.

ఇక ఆ ప్రచారాన్ని ఈ వారం విడుదల అవబోతున్న  పక్కా కమర్షియల్ మరో స్థాయికి తీసుకెళ్లింది. మా సినిమాకి తక్కువ రేట్లు అంటూ ఆ చిత్ర యూనిట్ చేసిన ప్రచారం తొలుత కొంత జనరజంకంగా ఉన్నప్పటికీ, రాను రాను ఒక ప్రహసనంలా తయారయింది మొత్తం వ్యవహారం. ఎందుకంటే ఆ చిత్ర బృందం చేసిన ప్రచారం మేరకు తెలంగాణలో సింగిల్ స్క్రీన్ – 100 బాల్కనీ,మల్టీప్లెక్స్ -150 అంటూ ప్రచారం చేశారు. కానీ బుకింగ్ సైట్ లలో చూస్తే సింగిల్ స్క్రీన్ లకు 150 మల్టిప్లెక్స్ ఒకటి రెండు చోట్ల తప్ప 195/200 కేటాయించబడ్డాయి. నిజానికి ఇవి మీడియం బడ్జెట్ సినిమాలకు మంచి రెట్లే అయినా చిత్ర బృందం ప్రచారం చేసిన రేట్లు లేకపోవడం ప్రేక్షకులను నిరాశ పరిచిన మాట వాస్తవం.

ఇక సినిమా థియేటర్లలో విడుదలైన మూడు,నాలుగు వారాల లోపు ఓటిటిలో వచ్చేయడం కూడా సినిమా థియేట్రికల్ రన్ ను దెబ్బ తీస్తుందని ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాల అభిప్రాయం. కరోనా ముందు వరకు ఆరు వారాలు లేదా కనీసం నాలుగు వారాలు గడిచాక ఓటిటిలో వచ్చేవి.

అయితే కరోనా వల్ల భారీగా నష్టాలు చవిచూసే ప్రమాదం వలన కొన్ని సినిమాలు నేరుగా ఓటిటిలో విడుదల అవడం లేదా థియేటర్లలో ఉండగానే ఓటిటి లో విడుదల అవడం ఆనవాయితీగా మారింది. ముఖ్యంగా మైత్రి మూవీ మేకర్స్ నిర్మిస్తున్న సినిమాలే అలా తొందరగా ఓటిటి లో విడుదల అవడం ఆ సంస్థకి కొంత చెడ్డ పేరును తీసుకు వచ్చింది. ఆ సంస్థ నిర్మించిన పుష్ప, సర్కారు వారి పాట మూడు వారాలకే ఓటిటిలోకి అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చాయి.

ఇక వచ్చే వారం విడుదలకి సిద్ధం అయిన “హ్యాపీ బర్త్ డే” కూడా మైత్రి మూవీ మేకర్స్ బ్యానర్ నుంచి వస్తున్నదే. ఆ సినిమాకు కూడా తక్కువ టికెట్ రేట్లు అని ప్రచారం చేశారు. ఇదిలా ఉండగా ఈరోజు చిత్ర ప్రచార నిమిత్తం ప్రెస్ మీట్ పెట్టి ట్రైలర్ విడుదల చేయడం జరిగింది.

ఆ ప్రెస్ మీట్ లోనే విలేఖరులు అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు సమాధానంగా నిర్మాత రవిశంకర్ ఇక పై థియేటర్లలో విడుదలైన యాభై (50) రోజులకు కానీ ఓటిటి లో విడుదల అవ్వవు అని చెప్పారు. కరోనా వల్ల నష్టపడ్డ సినిమాలు అన్నీ ఇప్పుడు విడుదల అయిపోయాయి అని,ఆ సినిమాలకే తక్కువ సమయంలో ఓటిటి విడుదల చేసుకునే వెసులుబాటు ఇచ్చామని చెప్తూ ఇక పై అంటే జూలై 1 నుండి విడుదల అయ్యే సినిమాలు మాత్రం ఖచ్చితంగా 50 రోజుల నియమాన్ని పాటించాలని నిర్మాతల మండలి అందరూ కలిసి తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయంగా చెప్పడం జరిగింది. 

ఏది ఏమైనా సినిమా కి టికెట్ రేట్లు, ఓటిటి విడుదల అనేవి ప్రచారంలో భాగంగా ఒకసారి మంచిగా మరోసారి చెడ్డగా చెప్పడం ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాలు మానేయడం మంచిది. ఒక సినిమా విజయం అనేది ఆయా సినిమాలు చేసే పబ్లిసిటీ వల్ల, లేదా ఆ సినిమాలకు ఉన్న క్రేజ్ పైన ఆధార పడి ఉంటుంది కానీ తక్కువ టికెట్ రేట్లు ఉన్నాయనో లేదా ఓటిటిలో ఆలస్యంగా వస్తుంది అనో కాదు.

Star Producer Dil Raju has got a new member added to his family on Wednesday. He is blessed with a baby boy in the morning hours of Wednesday. Dil Raju got married to Vygha Reddy on 10th May 2020, three years after his wife Anitha passed away with Cardiac Arrest. 

Dil Raju is in Dubai from the past couple of days and he returned back to the country during the early hours of Wednesday. The successful producer is quite happy with the arrival of a new family member.

This is the second time that Dil Raju is embracing fatherhood. The producer has a daughter Hanshitha from his first marriage. Hanshitha is co-producing films for Sri Venkateswara Creations. A lot of films are lined up from the banner.

AR Murugadoss is one of the successful directors in Indian Cinema. Debuted in 2001 as the director Murugadoss gave continuous streak of successful films in Tamil and Telugu. This will be a massive combination. ARM wants to prove his brand and content with this film. So we got wait for sometime to see what’s in store for Ajith. Especially from the director who gave three hits to Vijay whom the fans consider a competitor to Ajith.

Suriya – The first South Indian actor to achieve this feat

After impressive performances in the last year and receiving amazing reception for his brief appearance as Rolex in Vikram, Suriya has bagged another feather in his cap. He has been invited to be a part of the Oscars panel by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The panel includes eminent cinema personalities from across the world.

On Tuesday, the Academy released the list of 397 distinguished artists and executives it had invited to join the organization in 2022. The Academy said the new members had been selected on the basis of their professional qualifications and their “ongoing commitment to representation, inclusion and equity”.

With this, he has now become the first South Indian Actor to be invited to join the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Suriya is one of the highest-paid actors in Kollywood and has a massive fan following beyond Tamil Nadu as well. Of late, he has been focussing on cinema with social content as well. He received massive critical acclaim for his work in Jai Bhim. Incidentally, Jai Bhim was among 276 films that competed in the Oscar race but failed to get a nomination.

According to him In his view, Jai Bhim did not compete in the appropriate category and hence could not make an impact. While the movie might have failed to make a mark at the Oscars but Suriya being invited as a member of the Oscars panel is indeed a special moment.

Shocking! Actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passes away

Popular actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar died on Monday. He was at a private hospital in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As per reports Vidyasagar suffered from a severe lung infection and had been under treatment for the past few months.

Meena and Vidyasagar, who was a businessman got married in 2009. Many celebrities and Meena’s industry friends expressed their grief and paid their condolences to the actress and her family.

Meena who was one of the biggest stars in Telugu and Tamil industries in the 90s was seen comparatively less in movies after marriage. However, she continues to make occasional appearances. She made notable appearances in recent times in movies like Drishyam and Annaatthe opposite leading heroes.

Offering her deepest condolences to Meena and Vidyasagar’s entire family, Khushbu who starred with Meena in Annaatthe recently tweeted: “Waking up to a terrible news. Heartbroken to learn actor Meena’s husband, Sagar, is no more with us. He was battling lung ailment for long. Heart goes out to Meena n her young daughter. Life is cruel. At loss of words to express grief. Deepest condolences to the family.”

సీనియర్ నటుడు నాజర్ అంటే అవసరం లేని పేరు అనే చెప్పాలి. ఎన్నో విలక్షణమైన పాత్రలు పోషిస్తూ సుమారు 37 ఏళ్లుగా ఆయన ప్రేక్షకులను అలరిస్తూ వస్తున్నారు. చెప్పుకోవడానికి తమిళ నటుడే అయినప్పటికీ తెలుగులో కూడా ఎన్నో బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ చిత్రాల్లో నటించి ఇక్కడ కూడా మంచి ఇమేజ్ ను సొంతం చేసుకున్నారాయన. 1989 వ సంవత్సరంలో వచ్చిన ‘కోకిల’ ‘ముద్దుల మేనల్లుడు’ చిత్రాలతో టాలీవుడ్ కు పరిచయమైన ఆయన ఆ తర్వాత వచ్చిన ‘మాతృదేవోభవ’ ‘చంటి’ ‘అక్కడ అమ్మాయి ఇక్కడ అబ్బాయి’ వంటి చిత్రాలతో బాగా ఫేమస్ అయ్యారు.

తెలుగులో ఈయన మొత్తంగా 150 కి పైగా సినిమాల్లో నటించారు. ‘దూకుడు’ చిత్రంతో కమెడియన్ గా కూడా చేయగలను అని రుజువు చేసి ఆ తరువాత కామెడీ పాత్రల్లో కనిపించి ఆకట్టుకున్నారు. అలాగే తెలుగులో సొంతంగా డబ్బింగ్ చెప్పుకోగలను అని నిరూపించారు. తెలుగు ఇండస్త్రీలో నాజర్ కు మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి బెస్ట్ ఫ్రెండ్. కానీ ఆయనతో కలిసి ఈయన నటించిన సినిమాలు చాలా తక్కువ. ఎవరి రికమండేషన్ లేకుండా సొంతంగా నటుడిగా ఎదగాలి అని ఆయన అనుకున్నారు అలాగే ఎదిగారు.

ఇదిలా ఉండగా కొద్ది రోజులుగా నాజర్ సినిమాలకు దూరం కాబోతున్నారు అనే వార్త ఎక్కువగా వినిపిస్తుంది.దానికి కారణం లేకపోలేదు. ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో నాజర్ సినిమాలను తగ్గించారు. ఆచి తూచి పాత్రలను ఎంపిక చేసుకుంటున్నారు. ఇంకొన్ని రోజుల్లో ఆయన సినిమాలకు దూరమయ్యే అవకాశాలు కూడా ఉన్నాయట. అందుకు ప్రధాన కారణం ఈయన అనారోగ్య సమస్యలతో బాధపడుతూ ఉండడమే అని తెలుస్తుంది.

లాక్‌డౌన్‌ టైంలో నాజర్‌ గుండె సంబంధిత సమస్యలతో బాధపడ్డారట.అందుకే సినిమాలకు కాస్త విరామం ఇచ్చి ఆ పై పూర్తిగా ఆరోగ్యంపైనే ఆయన దృష్టి పెట్టాలనుకుంటున్నారు అని తెలుస్తుంది. ప్రస్తుతానికి ఆయన ఒప్పుకున్న సినిమాలను మాత్రం పూర్తి చేసే ఆలోచనలో ఉన్నట్టు తెలుస్తోంది. అయితే ఈ విషయం పై నాజర్ నుండి లేదా ఆయన కుటుంబం నుండి ఏ రకమైన అధికారిక ప్రకటన రాలేదు.

కంటెంట్ ఉంటే కొత్త హీరో/దర్శకుడు అయినాసరే విజయం సాధించచ్చు అని తెలుగు సినిమా పరిశ్రమలో ఎన్నోసార్లు రుజువు అయింది. అలాంటి సినిమాల్లో ఒకటి  “మ‌త్తు వ‌ద‌ల‌రా”. ఎలాంటి అంచ‌నాల్లేకుండా విడుద‌లైన ఈ చిత్రం బాక్సాఫీస్ ద‌గ్గ‌ర చక్కని విజయాన్ని సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ప్ర‌ముఖ సంగీత ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు ఎమ్‌.ఎమ్ కీర‌వాణీ చిన్న కొడుకు సింహా హీరోగా ప‌రిచ‌య‌మ‌వుతూ న‌టించిన ఈ చిత్రానికి రితేష్ రాణా ద‌ర్శ‌క‌త్వం వ‌హించాడు.

ఇక ఈరోజు విడుదలయిన ఈ సినిమా ట్రైలర్ అంచనాలకు తగ్గట్టే ఉంది. Surreal comedy పేరుతో దర్శకుడు రితిష్ రాణా సరికొత్త ప్రయత్నం చేసినట్టు కనిపిస్తుంది. No mask no entry అనే బోర్డు కరోనా నేపథ్యంలో అందరికీ పరిచయం అయిన విషయమే. ఆ విషయాన్ని గుర్తుకు తెచ్చేలా No guns no entry అని చూపించడం భలే ఉండింది. గన్ లైసెన్స్ నేపథ్యంలో సినిమా ఉండబోతుందని టీజర్ చూస్తేనే అర్ధం అయింది. ఇక ఈ సినిమాలో లావణ్య త్రిపాఠి తో పాటు దర్శకుడి మొదటి చిత్రంలో ఉన్న కమెడియన్ సత్య,వెన్నెల కిషోర్, నరేష్ అగస్త్య లు ఇప్పుడు హ్యాపీ బర్త్ డే లోనూ కనిపించనున్నారు. మొత్తానికి ఒక వినూత్నమైన హాస్య ప్రయోగం అనిపించే విధంగా ఉంది హ్యాపీ బర్త్ డే ట్రైలర్.

లావ‌ణ్య త్రిపాఠి ప్ర‌ధాన పాత్ర‌లో న‌టించిన ఈ చిత్రం గ‌తేడాది న‌వంబ‌ర్‌లో ప్రారంభ‌మైంది. ప్ర‌స్తుతం షూటింగ్ పూర్తి చేసుకున్న ఈ చిత్రం పోస్ట్ ప్రోడ‌క్ష‌న్ ప‌నులు కూడా శరవేగంగా జ‌రుపుకుని రిలీజ్ కి సిద్ధంగా ఉంది.తొలుత ఈ చిత్రాన్ని జూలై 15న విడుద‌ల చేస్తారని ప్రకటించారు. అయితే ఇతర సినిమాల వాయిదాల వల్ల ఒక వారం ముందుగా అంటే జూలై 8న విడుదల చేస్తున్నారు.మైత్రీ మూవీ మేక‌ర్స్, క్లాప్ ఎంట‌ర్టైన‌మెంట్స్ సంస్థ‌లు సంయుక్తంగా ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించాయి.

రెండు వారాల క్రితం థియేటర్లలో రానా – సాయి పల్లవిల విరాట పర్వం సినిమా థియేటర్స్ లో రిలీజ్ అయ్యింది. ఏడాదిన్నరగా షూటింగ్ పూర్తి చేసుకుని విడుదల కోసం వెయిట్ చేస్తున్న విరాట పర్వానికి చిత్ర యూనిట్ ఎట్టకేలకు జూన్ 17 న మోక్షం కలిగించారు.

అసలైతే విరాట పర్వం ఓటిటిలోనే రిలీజ్ అవుతుందని ప్రేక్షకులతో పాటు ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాలు కూడా అనుకున్నా చివరికి విరాట పర్వం సినిమా థియేటర్స్ లో రిలీజ్ అయింది. అయితే థియేటర్స్ లో విడుదలైన విరాట పర్వం డాక్యుమెంటరిగా ఉంది అని, ఈ సినిమా ఓటిటి లో అయితే పర్ఫెక్ట్ గా ఉండేది అని కొంత మంది ప్రేక్షకులు అభిప్రాయ పడ్డారు.ఇక జూన్ 17 న విడుదలైన ఈ సినిమా ఎప్పుడెప్పుడు ఓటిటిలోకి వస్తుందా అని థియేటర్లలో చూడని ప్రేక్షకులు ఎదురు చూస్తున్నారు. సాయి పల్లవి కోసం థియేటర్స్ కి వెళ్లలేని వారు ఇంట్లో ఓటిటిలో విరాట పర్వం చూడాలని అనుకుంటున్నారు.

అయితే విరాట పర్వం ఓటీటీ రిలీజ్ డేట్ ఎప్పుడు అనేది తెలిసింది. ప్ర‌ముఖ ఓటీటీ ఛానెల్ నెట్‌ఫ్లిక్స్ ఈ మూవీ ఓటీటీ హ‌క్కుల‌ను 15 కోట్ల‌కు చేజిక్కించుకుంద‌ట‌.ఈ మేరకు విరాట పర్వం సినిమా నెట్ ఫ్లిక్స్ లో జూలై 1న విడుదల కానుందని, అందులోనూ మూడు భాషల్లో అంటే తెలుగు,తమిళ,మలయాళం లో విడుదల అవుతుందని సమాచారం. మరి ఓటిటిలో విడుదల అయిన తరువాత అయినా విరాట పర్వం సినిమాకి మంచి స్పందన వస్తుందని ఆశిద్దాం.
