Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has taken the Indian box office by storm. After a mighty impressive performance in Karnataka, the film is now posting huge numbers all over India.
When the film was first released, it opened to unanimously excellent reviews but the shows were minimal all over India. The audience who wanted to watch the film could not find shows in their preferred locations as well.
But now, looking at the mass appeal of the movie, the makers decided to release the dubbed version in all the major languages. The Hindi version of the movie posted a whopping 1.3+ crores on the opening day and will only increase in the coming days.
Without any promotions, the Telugu version of Kantara has managed to pull large crowds into the theatres. As the Dasara releases have all completed their full run in theatres, Kantara has got a great period to shine at the box office.
The occupancies and the advance bookings in the Telugu states are very impressive as well. The film is expected to collect more than 2.5 crores in gross collections on the opening day in the Telugu states for the Telugu version alone.
