After the monstrous success of the Kannada version of Kantara, the film has been released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil as well. Kantara was released with limited shows and went on to create massive hype and excitement. From a ‘Kannada’ film, it became a ‘Pan-Indian’ film with the love of the audiences.
The Hindi dubbed version of Kantara was released yesterday and has opened to terrific collections. It has even beaten the likes of Salman Khan’s Godfather where he essayed a guest role. Even though Godfather had the Dasara advantage, it managed to collect around 1 crore on the opening day. Despite the presence of Salman Khan, Nayanthara, and Chiranjeevi, the collections were nothing to boast about.
But a film like Kantara, with no star cast and no festival advantage, has collected 1.3 crores on the opening day. The film is also expected to perform well in all languages. The film is expected to have a massive weekend collection as it is releasing in all major languages.
The hype for the Telugu version is also unreal and the audiences have been waiting for shows of the film. With celebrities like Prabhas also talking about the movie, it will have a great opening. Kantara has proved once again that content will always be the king.
