After Allu Arjun, Sukumar goes for partnership in Pushpa 2 business

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule is all set to go on floors soon. The film had its puja ceremony back in August and heavy expectations are set on this project. Allu Arjun will return to his role as Pushparaj while the story of this film will further showcase his rivalry with Fahadh Faasil and his subsequent growth.

Interestingly, Pushpa: The Rule will now be co-produced by Sukumar’s own banner Sukumar Writings. For the film’s first installment Mythri Movie Makers were joined by Muttamsetty Media as co-producers. This film will be made on a massive budget and Sukumar Writings has now entered the film replacing Mutamsetty Media.

Pushpa 2 is expected to be a money spinner, especially in Hindi, and Allu Arjun is already involved in the Hindi rights and now Sukumar is also looking for the same route as he also wants to be part of the Hindi business. Both Allu Arjun and Sukumar do not want to take the full remuneration and are instead opting for partnership in the business.

Coming to the film’s shoot, Sukumar is in no hurry to finish the project and wants to start shooting once he is satisfied with every aspect. This is why he has decided to take the film on set at his own pace. Coming to the plot of the film, as the title suggests, this film will showcase the ascent of Pushpa to greater heights and will see Fahadh Faasil and Allu Arjun clash on a global level.

Ponniyin Selvan is a loss venture in Telugu states

Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan has been creating a storm at the Tamil Nadu box office by raking in huge numbers. The film is the dream project of the legendary director and the entire unit is ecstatic at the love the film is getting from all the territories in Tamil Nadu.

The film brought up the Rs 200 crore mark over the weekend and has in no time hit the magical Rs 250 crore mark as well. The team toured across India and extensively promoted this action adventure film based on the Chola dynasty. Ponniyin Selvan has now got off to a terrific start in all territories and has established an all-time record for the Tamil version.

However, the same can’t be said about the film’s performance in Telugu states. The movie had a very good 1st weekend in Telugu states but collapsed completely on Monday. From that point, there was no recovery and even on the festival day, its collections were not on par.

The film rights were bought for Rs 10 Cr, Including P&P and it has to collect more than Rs 12Cr for a break-even. However, looking at the current trend, the movie is expected to close below Rs 9Cr.

This festive season looks entertaining for all those eagerly waiting to enjoy the season with some interesting Telugu movies on OTT. The previous month has had many releases and October month also starts with a few more releases this weekend. Catch up with these new Telugu movies releasing on OTT during your holidays this week. From comedy to love, drama to thriller, here is a list of Telugu movies that were released on OTT platforms during the Dussera weekend.

The first movie on this list is “Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali” which is directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti who is known for his feel-good entertainers filled with witty writing and classy narration. Following the same pattern, he tried to bring an emotional drama with ‘Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali’ starring Sudheer Babu and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. The film received a disastrous talk from both the audience and the critics. This movie is streaming on Amazon Prime.

And another movie is Karthikeya-2 which was a huge blockbuster released in august. The film not only became a hit in Telugu states but also surprised everyone with its excellent run in the Hindi markets. Karthikeya-2 is now streaming on Zee5.

Uniki, which was directed by Rajkumar Bobby, is now streaming on Aha Video. Uniki Movie is an action drama with a social message which was released in the theaters on January 21, 2022.

Darja, a revenge drama starring Anasuya Bharadwaj and Sunil in main roles is now streaming on Aha Video.

Vaishnav Tej’s romantic drama Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga in which Ketika Sharma played the female lead is now streaming on Netflix. The film was released on September 2nd to poor reviews and failed at the box office.

Nivetha Thomas & Regina Cassandra’s Saakini Daakini is now streaming on Netflix. This film was released on 16th September and despite quirky promotions failed to make an impact at the box office.

థియేటర్లలో విడుదలై రెండు నెలలు పైన గడిచిపోయిన కల్యాణ్ రామ్ బింబిసార చిత్రం తాజాగా OTT ప్లాట్‌ఫారమ్ Zee 5లో త్వరలో విడుదల అవడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉంది.

నందమూరి కళ్యాణ్ రామ్ ప్రధాన పాత్రలో నటించిన చిత్రం ‘బింబిసార’. వశిష్ఠ మల్లిడి తెరకెక్కించిన ఈ చిత్రం బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద కాసుల వర్షం కురిపించింది. బింబిసారుడుగా కళ్యాణ్ రామ్ తన నటనకు చక్కని ప్రశంసలు అందుకున్నారు. టైమ్ ట్రావెల్ కాన్సెప్ట్ తో రూపొందిన ఈ సినిమా ఆగస్టు 5 తేదీన రిలీజై.. బ్లాక్ బాస్టర్ హిట్ ను సొంతం చేసుకుంది. బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద ఈ చిత్రం సుమారు రూ.75కోట్ల గ్రాస్ వసూలు చేసింది. చాలా కాలంగా సరైన హిట్ లేని కళ్యాణ్ రామ్ కి ఈ చిత్రం భారీ విజయాన్ని అందించింది. ఈ సినిమా ఎప్పుడు ఓటీటీలోకి వస్తుందా అని సినీ ప్రేమికులు అందరూ ఎదురుచూస్తున్నారు.

ఇక వారి ఎదురుచూపులు తెర పడినట్లే. ఇటీవలే ఇరు కుటుంబాలు సూపర్ స్టార్ రజనీకాంత్ నివాసంలో సమావేశమయ్యారని.. అక్కడ ఈ జంట తమ మధ్య ఉన్న సమస్యలను, మనస్పర్థలను తొలగించుకుని తమ వివాహ బంధాన్ని తిరిగి కొత్తగా అరంభించడానికి ప్రయత్నించాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నారని తెలుస్తోంది.

Finally, ZEE5 announces Bimbisara streaming date officially

Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara is now all set to release on OTT platform Zee 5 soon. The movie was released on 5th August and recorded steady collections and great occupancies with every passing day. Bimbisara emerged as the highest grosser of Kalyan Ram’s career and gave director Mallidi Vasisht a massive break in Tollywood.

The audience has been eagerly awaiting Bimbisara’s release on OTT for quite some time. It was expected that Zee 5, which holds the digital rights of the film would stream the movie from Dusshera or by 10th October. However, the OTT giant has now revealed that the fantasy action film will now be streaming on its platform from October 21st.

Set in 500 BC, the fantasy action film follows the story of Bimbisara (Kalyan Ram) who is a cruel and power-hungry king who takes extreme measures to suppress any dissent in his kingdom.

The fantasy drama was released to positive reviews and excellent occupancies right from Day 1 and brought good returns to all involved. Debutant Mallidi Vasisht directed the film that also starred Catherine Tresa, Samyukhta Menon, and Vivan Bhatena in key roles. Kalyan Ram’s own banner NTR Arts has bankrolled this project with MM Keeravani lending the tunes.

Earlier this year Kollywood star Dhanush and his director wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth shocked fans with their plans to get divorced. The couple even released statements on Instagram and requested privacy on the matter. Dhanush and Aishwarya got married in 2004 and are parents to two kids, Yatra Raja and Linga Raja.

Nearly 10 months after their announcement, fans of the star couple have a reason to celebrate. As per reports, the couple has decided to take a step back from their divorce. Reportedly, both of their families had a meeting at Superstar Rajinikanth’s residence, where it was decided that the couple should try to make things work and sort out their marriage issues. However, there’s no official statement from either of them.

Dasara Releases Godfather, The Ghost, And Swathi Muthyam Day 1 Box Office Performance And Predictions

Two big films and one small film were released in Tollywood today and while one managed to post decent numbers, the other two had nothing to boast about. Despite the festival advantage for all the releases, none of them managed to get good openings.

Chiranjeevi’s Godfather is expected to open with 22 crores share worldwide, which is the lowest opening in his career after his comeback. However, it is still a decent number and the positive talk surrounding the movie will definitely help the movie.

Nagarjuna’s The Ghost also had a lot of hype surrounding it. The teaser, the first look, and the glimpses looked extremely promising but the output looks weak. The reviews have been mostly negative and the first-day share is expected to be in the range of 1.5 crores share collection.

The least popular film among the lot is Bellamkonda Ganesh’s Swathi Muthyam which has failed to pull the audiences into the theatre. Even with unanimous positive talk, it failed to bring even the minimum audience. It has completely crashed on the opening day and there will be almost no shares.
