Superstar Mahesh Babu’s SSMB28 shooting second schedule details

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s SSMB28 is one of the most prestigious projects in Tollywood. The film will see the return of Mahesh and Trivikram after 12 years. The combination holds a special place in the hearts of Tollywood fans. This is why the entire unit is taking extra care of ensuring all the elements of the film come up with top-notch quality.

The first schedule of the film went on floors last month and a heavy-duty action sequence was shot for this portion. But due to some reason, they wrapped it up for 6 days and the team took a break. Post this break Mahesh faced a massive personal loss in form of his mother’s death.

Now the movie’s second schedule is planned from October 10th. This will be a big schedule in Ramoji Film City and a huge set has been built for the same. Pooja Hegde will be paired opposite Mahesh Babu and this schedule will see some romantic scenes shot between the lead pair as well.

Haarika and Haasine Creations are bankrolling this project. SS Thaman will compose the music for SSMB28 while Navin Nooli will handle the editing duties.

Talented actor Allu Sirish is all set to impress the audience yet again with his upcoming film, titled Urvashivo Raksashivo. Actress Anu Emmanuel will be seen playing the female lead, opposite Sirish, in this romantic comedy. Filmmaker Rakesh Sashii has helmed this project. The recently released teaser has been received well by netizens.

One of the major highlights of the teaser is the magical chemistry between Sirish and Anu. Amping up the promotions today makers announced that the first single “Dheemthanana” is releasing on October 10.

The makers released a romantic poster announcing the news. The makers bringing this endearing tune composed by Achu Rajamani with enchanting visuals. Now everyone is eagerly waiting to hear the first single from the album. More details will be announced soon.

The makers of the film are planning to release the film on November 4. Renowned Producer Allu Aravind presenting the film while Dheeraj Mogilineni producing it. GA 2 pictures bankrolled the film in association with Shri Tirumala Production Private Ltd banner.Achu Rajamani composed the music. Tanveer handling the cinematography while editing is done by Karthika Srinivas.

Sree Vishnu’s Alluri Streaming On OTT from tomorrow

Sree Vishnu’s Latest movie Alluri is going to stream on Aha Video tomorrow. Aha Video has mostly been going after small and medium-range Telugu films and Alluri will be the new addition to their list. Alluri is the story of a cop and his life journey is shown in different stages and places. It has Vishnu playing a powerful and upright cop.

Talented actor Sree Vishnu is known for picking fresh and new subjects. Though he doesn’t have many big hits to his name, he created an image of an actor who tries to do something new. And that’s the same case with the Alluri movie too.

Though the movie looks like a regular cop drama, underneath it has a serious take on the liv of police officers. What problems do they face while performing their duty? How their personal lives are affected when they choose duty over family. All these elements are shown sincerely. But only sincere intentions cannot make a good movie.

The audience and reviewers felt that the screenplay of the film was old-fashioned and lacked the required punch and freshness. A few scenes worked for the movie but it got derailed by over-the-top and unconvincing scenes.

Alluri movie is written and directed by Pradeep Varma. Sree Vishnu acted in the lead role and Kayadu Lohar acted as the female lead. Tanikella Bharani and Suman are seen in important roles. Produced by Lucky Media, the movie’s music is scored by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.

Aha Video platform usually tends to give their purchases an early OTT release. And there is nothing different for the Alluri movie which is streaming exactly after two weeks of its theatrical release.

Nagarjuna’s The Ghost was a crucial movie for the senior actor and he pinned high hopes on this project. However, much to his disappointment, the film is on its way to being a colossal failure.

The action entertainer had a disastrous opening at the box office with minimal numbers. On day2 it crashed completely and most of the theatres are failing to recover the rents also. The movie is heading towards another single-digit closing share for Nagarjuna. As per the current trends, it may end up with below Rs 5Cr share as well.

Praveen Sattaru directed this action thriller which saw Nagarjuna in the role of an Interpol officer. Sonal Chauhan, Gul Panag, and Anikha Surendran are the other prominent cast members of the film.

Ghost will featured Sonal Chauhan opposite Nagarjuna in the lead role opposite Nagarjuna. Narayan Das K Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar are producing the film on Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment Banners.

Ponniyin Selvan crosses 300 crore and emerges as All time Top-3 Grosser in Kollywood

The Tamil epic action drama ‘Ponniyin Selvan1’ starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi, and Karthi continues to win the hearts of audiences around the world. The film guided by the legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam has grossed a whopping Rs 300 crore worldwide within the first week of its release which is an outstanding feat.

The movie is based on the 1955 novel by the late writer Kalki Krishnamurthy. According to the trade circles, the film has crossed Rs 300 crore at the worldwide box office, and it has surpassed Rs 100 crore in Tamil Nadu Region within just 6 days of running by today it has crossed all the Kollywood movies only behind Vikram and 2Point0.

Coming to all versions, the movie will settle at the top second position. And the trade circles are expecting that the movie will achieve the number one position by creating an all time record in its full run. Ponniyin Selvan1 is Performing well in Hindi too but in Telugu states the movie has almost ended up its theatrical run.

The film also known as ‘PS-1’ was released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi on September 30. Interestingly, it is the first Tamil film to be released in IMAX format.

The period drama tells the story of Chola Emperor Rajaraja I (947 – 1014). The film which is made in two parts began its shooting in 2019. What’s more interesting is that the shooting part for both parts has been completed in 150 days. The movie has already become the biggest hit in Maniratnam ‘s career.

The film’s music is scored by AR Rahman, cinematography by Ravi Varman, and art direction by Thotta Tharani. The film also stars R Sarathkumar, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Rahman, and R Parthiban.

RRR Team begins campaign for Oscars in multiple categories

SS Rajamouli’s RRR, featuring Ram Charan and NTR in main roles, was one of the biggest hits in the career of the director. However, the film wasn’t selected as India’s official entry to the Oscars 2023. Instead, the Gujarati film Chhello Show (Last Film Show) has been picked as India’s official entry to the Oscars 2023.

However, the hope for an Oscar nomination is still alive as the makers are pushing RRR in 14 categories under the ‘For your consideration (FYC) campaign. RRR was hailed by critics and audiences in the West as well.

RRR team has asked for consideration in categories including– Best Picture (DVV Danayya), Best Director (SS Rajamouli), Best Actor (Jr NTR and Ram Charan), Best Supporting Actor (Ajay Devgn), Best Supporting Actress (Alia Bhatt) and more. Besides this, RRR has also shown hope to be nominated in categories such as Screenplay, Score, Editing, Cinematography, Sound, Production Design, VFX, and its song Naatu Naatu for Best Original Song.

Director SS Rajamouli’s RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR, respectively. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris, and Ray Stevenson were seen in pivotal roles. Produced by DVV Danayya, the film was made on a huge budget.

RRR is also one of the most successful pan-India films which earned over 1000 crore worldwide during its theatrical run. From its action sequences to its storyline and star-studded cast, the film even left audiences from the west side impressed with its release on Netflix. It was newly re-released as a part of the Beyond Fest in the US and received a gigantic response.

Ramcharan failed to stand on his promise regarding collections on posters

Ram Charan is now getting trolled for not standing by his word regarding the collections of films. God Father movie was released yesterday, in which Megastar Chiranjeevi played the main role and it is directed by Mohan Raja. Ram Charan, NV Prasad, and RB Choudary have combinedly produced this film.

Earlier in 2018, when the trend of publishing fake collections on wall posters was brought to Ram Charan’s notice, he said even though we publish genuine collections of films on wall posters, some fans may treat them as fake. As such, he decided that his producers will not publish collections officially, be it his production or other producers whom he works with.

It was the time when his movie Rangasthalam released became a huge blockbuster. The makers then published the genuine gross collections of the movie on wall posters. Since the film was a genuine big hit, there were no apprehensions from fans and anti-fans on the collections.

But Ram Charan said at that time that publishing collections on posters will lead to fights between fans. And to avoid those unnecessary fights he will make sure that his films will not have posters with collections. Charan went on to say that all other heroes are like his friends and wanted to maintain a healthy relationship with them.

But it looks like Ram Charan has changed his mindset after 4 years. As said above, produced under Konidela Productions the movie God Father has been released yesterday and received positive reviews and talk. But the opening collections were not on par with the Megastar’s image according to the trade circles.

A poster from the official Twitter handle of Konidela Productions was released today which displays the gross collection as 38 crores. But the original gross is less than that. Now people on social media are trolling Ram Charan that he’s also promoting the culture of fake and overhyped numbers.

మణిరత్నం దర్శకత్వంలో రూపొందిన పొన్నియిన్ సెల్వన్ చిత్రం తమిళనాడు బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద భారీ వసూళ్లతో దూసుకుపోతుంది. ఈ చిత్రం ఈ దిగ్గజ దర్శకుడి డ్రీమ్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ గా ప్రసిద్ధి చెందిన ఈ చిత్రానికి తమిళనాడులోని అన్ని ప్రాంతాల నుండి లభిస్తున్న అమితమైన ప్రేమ, ఆదరణను చూసి చిత్ర యూనిట్ చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది.

కాగా పొన్నియిన్ సెల్వన్ చిత్రం తొలి వారాంతంలో రూ. 200 కోట్ల గ్రాస్ మార్కును తెచ్చుకుంది. అంతే కాకుండా చాలా తొందరగా ఎవరూ ఊహించని విధంగా మ్యాజికల్ ఫిగర్ అయిన 250 కోట్ల మార్కును కూడా దాటడం విశేషం. కాగా ఈ చిత్ర ప్రచార నిమిత్తం చిత్ర బృందం భారతదేశం అంతటా పర్యటించింది.

చోళ రాజవంశ చరిత్ర ఆధారంగా తెరకెక్కిన ఈ యాక్షన్ అడ్వెంచర్ చిత్రాన్ని విస్తృతంగా ప్రచారం చేయడం జరిగింది. పొన్నియిన్ సెల్వన్ కేవలం తమిళనాడు లోనే కాకుండా మిగిలిన ప్రాంతాలలో అద్భుతమైన ఓపెనింగ్స్ పొందింది. కాగా తమిళ వెర్షన్ ఏకంగా ఆల్-టైమ్ రికార్డ్‌ను నెలకొల్పింది.

అయితే, తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో మాత్రం ఈ సినిమా ప్రదర్శన అనుకున్నంత బాగా లేదు. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో పొన్నియిన్ సెల్వన్ మొదటి వారాంతం బాగానే వసూళ్లు రాబట్టింది. కానీ సోమవారం అనూహ్యంగా కుప్పకూలింది. అప్పటి నుంచి ఏమాత్రం ఎదుగుదల లేకపోగా.. పండగ రోజు కూడా కలెక్షన్లు పెరగలేదు.

తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో పొన్నియిన్ సెల్వన్ సినిమా హక్కులను 10 కోట్లకు కొనుగోలు చేసారు. పబ్లిసిటీ ఖర్చులతో కలుపుకుంటేబ్రేక్ – ఈవెన్ కోసం ఈ చిత్రం 12 కోట్లకు పైగా వసూలు చేయాల్సి ఉంది. అయితే, ప్రస్తుతం కలెక్షన్లు వస్తున్న ట్రెండ్‌ను చూస్తుంటే, ఈ చిత్రం మొత్తంగా 9 కోట్ల కంటే తక్కువే కలెక్ట్ చేసేలా ఉంది. నిజానికి చిన్న లాస్ అయినప్పటికీ.. భారీ సినిమాగా ప్రచారం అయిన ఈ సినిమాకి అంత తక్కువ కలెక్షన్లు రావడం విచారకరం.

అయితే ఈ చిత్రం తెలుగులో అనుకున్నంత స్థాయిలో ఆడకపోవడానికి కారణం లేకపోలేదు. చోళ రాజుల గురించి మన తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులకి పెద్దగా తెలియదు. పైగా డబ్బింగ్ లో పాత్రల పేర్లు తమిళ వెర్షన్ లో ఉన్నట్టే ఉండటం కూడా ప్రేక్షకులను గందరగోళంలోకి నెట్టేశాయి అని కూడా చెప్పచ్చు.

After two months after its worldwide theatrical release, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha has released on OTT giant – Netflix. Featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh in lead roles the film tanked at the Box Office and failed to meet the expectations of the audience.

Netflix India made took to Twitter and announced, “Keep your popcorn golgappas ready because Laal Singh Chaddha is NOW STREAMING!”

Laal Singh Chaddha began streaming on Netflix on October 5, 2022, in Hindi along with Telugu and Tamil languages. The film did not get positive response from the audience as well as critics. Public didn’t liked that an actor like Amir Khan doing a remake and they unanimously rejected it.

Laal Singh Chaddha, the official Hindi remake of Academy Award-winning Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks which has an image of classic movie. But Aamir Khan’s version could not win the accolades, except amir fans who initially tried to get the movie good talk. The film also was affected by the boycott trend online. The film stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in pivotal roles. Advait Chandan has helmed it with a screenplay by Atul Kulkarni.

Bollywood is having a very dull phase with movies of star heroes becoming flops. Laal Singh Chaddha, Raksha Bandhan and the latest Vikram Vedha have failed to bring the audience to the theaters. Brahmastra, which was made as Pan Indian movie and publicised heavily ended as a decent hit after opening to a huge first weekend.
