Makers quoting 100Cr for Surya next film digital rights

Surya’s 42nd movie is directed by Siva, The movie is the biggest budget film of Surya’s career and it is being said that the movie will be made in the periodic backdrop. The film is being made on a massive scale and it is more than just a Pan-India film.

Usually, Pan-India films will be released in five languages. But the upcoming film will be released in 10 languages in 3d format. So the Surya starrer is beyond Pan-India and seems to be something huge. Now the makers are quoting 100Cr for rights and they are also getting very good responses from OTT platforms. The Ott platforms are in negotiations and want to get this movie at a bigger price.

Leading production houses in Tollywood and Kollywood UV Creations and Studio Green are producing this movie. Along with the crazy combination of Surya and Sirutai Siva, the movie also marks the comeback of the Surya – DSP combination. Bollywood beauty Disha Patani is making her debut in Kollywood with this movie.

Surya is one of the leading stars in Tamil cinema. He’s highly regarded as an actor and if you look at his career he never tried formula films and always has attempted something new in his films which makes him special. This national award-winning actor recently completed 25 years in the industry. The talented actor-producer has done over forty films in his glorious career.

But right now this star hero is going through a rough patch in his career, he had two amazing films in the last 2 years like Soorarai Potru, for which he won the National Award, and Jai Bhim which was also well appreciated by the audience and critics.

However, these both movies were released in OTT and ET(Etharkkum Thunindhavan) movie which were released in the theaters in the month of March this year and bombed at the box office. But Surya did get a short but spectacular appearance as Rolex in the sensational blockbuster Vikram. Director Mani Ratnam’s period epic Ponniyin Selvan-1 has delivered the best performance ever for a Tamil film in its first week, according to trade circles. The Tamil audience has owned up to this film because they have always felt that this movie is their pride. That emotional connection is reflected in the film’s box office performance.

The film has crossed several significant milestones already, including passing the outstanding Rs 300 crore mark at the global box office. By doing so, PS-1 has joined a short list of Tamil films to have made more than Rs 300.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata made its world television premiere recently and the ratings have been quite disappointing, to say the least. The action entertainer directed by Parasuram starred Keerthy Suresh opposite Mahesh Babu and was telecasted on TV recently.

The film has registered a lowly TRP of  9.45 making it one of the lowest star hero TRPs in recent times. The HD+SD delivered 11.1 TRP which is still pretty low considering the family following Mahesh has.

The movie’s second schedule is planned from October 10th. This will be a big schedule in Ramoji Film City and a huge set has been built for the same. Pooja Hegde will be paired opposite Mahesh Babu and this schedule will see some romantic scenes shot between the lead pair as well.

Haarika and Haasine Creations are bankrolling this project. SS Thaman will compose the music for SSMB28 while Navin Nooli will handle the editing duties.

He participated in Vijayadashami Navratri celebrations held in Nampally. When people got to know that Megastar was coming, many people came to see him and even many celebrities’ children also came to take pictures with the megastar.

But at the same time Garikapati Narasimha Rao, a famous spiritual speaker who was present there, was annoyed that when his speech started everyone was taking pictures with Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Garikapati Narasimha Rao said that Megastar Chiranjeevi should immediately stop giving the photos and come sit next to him, or otherwise he will leave from there.

Because everyone knows that Chiranjeevi is surrounded by fans wherever he goes. So instead of reacting rudely, Garikapati could have avoided these comments and behaved with a little politeness.

And some section of people says that this kind of trivial issue should not be given importance and there are much bigger problems than this in the state. Matters related to the two people should not be taken up by the public. Because if there is a flaw in etiquette, it is enough that those people to talk and no need for others to be involved. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s God Father movie is having a steady run at the Box Office. The movie was released on October 5th for Dussera Festival. And it received a good response from the audience as well as the critics. Before the release, there were several doubts that whether the movie will match it’s the original version of the Malayalam movie Lucifer or not.

But the director Mohan Raja was successful in making the necessary changes to the Telugu Version. The audience liked the elevation scenes and dialogues of Chiranjeevi. SS Thaman’s background music also got a thunderous response.

Coming to the Box Office, the movie couldn’t get the required theaters due to releasing in competition with The Ghost and Swathimuthyam. That’s why it did not get huge openings at the Box Office.

But because of the positive talk, the movie had an excellent hold and shares of day 2 are more than 70% of day 1 collections. And what’s more interesting is that in a few Centers second day shares are on par with the first day. God Father movie collected 26 crores of worldwide share for two days.

God Father movie’s Theatrical rights are valued at 80 Crores. And to achieve the break-even mark and to be declared a hit, the film should have a big Jump for the weekend and should continue to produce decent collections on the weekdays.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s God Father movie has been released worldwide on October 5. Obvious that the title role is done by Chiranjeevi and it also has Salman Khan in a special guest role. God Father is a political action drama that is a remake of the Malayalam Super hit movie Lucifer. Prabhas’ Adipurush teaser was released last week and was panned by movie lovers and critics alike. Many expressed their dissatisfaction with the output and said that the VFX was quite sloppy and half-baked. This didn’t stop the teaser from setting new records. In total, the teaser crossed 101M+ views across all platforms and languages in just 24 hours, setting an all-time record.
