Megastar Chiranjeevi himself announcing the fake Box office numbers for Godfather shocks everyone

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest outing, ‘GodFather’ was released on October 5th. And the movie received a very good response from the audience. The Mohan Raja directorial has also been appreciated by critics as well. But coming to the box office, the movie did not get the gigantic openings that are normal for a big star movie. But the positive talk is helping the movie get a steady run till now. It is known that the movie was also released in Hindi along with the Telugu language.

The Hindi version of GodFather is also getting solid support from the North audience. Due to Salman khan playing a special guest role, his fans are extending their support to the Godfather movie. And other neutral audiences too like the Megastar’s heroic and intense avatar.

Today, the Megastar Chiranjeevi revealed that another 600 screens have been added for GodFather in Hindi and thanked the audience for giving the humongous blockbuster.

In a video message, he said, “Hello friends, Namasthe. Thank you so much for all the love you are showering on our film ‘GodFather’. I am truly humbled. It’s just been two days and we have already crossed Rs 69 Cr of revenue. I’m told that today that another 600 screens are added to the Hindi belt. You have truly made this a pan-Indian film. My hearty thanks to the audiences and all my fans from North, South, East, and West. See you at the movies. Thank you so much once again. Jai hind.

Now here comes the twist, in the video Chiranjeevi has mentioned the movie has collected more than 69Cr gross in 2 days. But in reality the two-day gross is somewhere around 45Cr. The numbers are hyped by 25Cr almost which is surprising. And people are shocked by the fact that Chiranjeevi himself is announcing these hyped numbers.

Some sections of people are saying that heroes don’t know the reality hence they believe in what their production or pr team says. This is also true but it doesn’t look good that a hero like Chiranjeevi who has a great stature is at the receiving end because of the producer’s promotional tactics.

ఖైదీ నంబర్ 150 మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి దాదాపు పదేళ్ల విరామం తరువాత తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమకు పునరాగమనం చేసిన చిత్రం. అటు మెగా అభిమానులతో పాటు ఇతర సినీ ఔత్సాహికులు కూడా ఆ సినిమా పై మంచి అంచనాలే పెట్టుకున్నారు. ఇక అందరూ ఊహించిన విధంగా, ఈ చిత్రం మొదటి రోజు కలెక్షన్లలో భారీ రికార్డులను సృష్టించింది. కాగా ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా తొలి రోజు 35 కోట్ల వరకూ షేర్ వసూలు చేసింది.

ఇక మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి నటించిన తదుపరి చిత్రం సైరా నరసింహా రెడ్డి తొలి రోజు 45 కోట్లకు పైగా షేర్ వసూలు చేయగా, ఈ ఏడాది వేసవిలో విడుదలైన ఆచార్య చిత్రం కూడా తొలి రోజు 30 కోట్లకు పైగా షేర్ వసూలు చేసింది.

కానీ తాజాగా చిరంజీవి ప్రధాన పాత్రలో నటించగా విడుదలైన గాడ్‌ఫాదర్ సినిమా మాత్రం పైన ఉదాహరించిన చిత్రాల మాదిరిగా.. భారీ ఓపెనింగ్స్‌ను సాధించలేకపోయింది. కాగా మూడు రోజులలో 30 కోట్ల షేర్ మార్క్‌ను దాటింది, ఇది అత్యంత దయనీయమైన పరిస్థితి అని చెప్పవచ్చు. ఆ రకంగా చూసుకుంటే గాడ్ ఫాదర్ చిత్రం 3 రోజుల కలెక్షన్లు ఖైదీ నంబర్ 150 మొదటి రోజు కలెక్షన్లల కంటే తక్కువగా ఉండటం గమనార్హం.

అయితే గాడ్ ఫాదర్ మొదటిరోజుతో పోలిస్తే రెండవ రోజు, మూడవ రోజు థియేటర్లలో ఊహించిన దానికంటే ఎక్కువ ప్రేక్షకుల సంఖ్యను నమోదు చేసింది. ఇది నిజంగా చిత్ర నిర్మాతలకు ఆనందాన్నిచ్చే విషయం.

కానీ అభిమానులతో పాటు ప్రేక్షకులు కూడా మెగాస్టార్ గా కొనియాడే చిరంజీవి ఇటీవలి చిత్రాలతో లేదా ఇతర టాప్ స్టార్స్ కలెక్షన్లతో పోల్చి చూస్తే, గాడ్ ఫాదర్ సినిమా కనీసం దరిదాపుల్లో కూడా ఉండదు. ఇక ఈ సినిమా బ్రేక్ ఈవెన్ కావాలంటే బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద కనీసం 2 వారాల పాటు నిలకడగా రన్ కావాలి. సినిమా విడుదలకు ముందే చిరంజీవి సినిమా పై చాలా మంది నమ్మకం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అంతే కాకుండా తొలిరోజు గాడ్‌ఫాదర్ సినిమా సానుకూల సమీక్షలు మరియు మంచి టాక్ ను తెచ్చుకుని రోజురోజుకూ కలెక్షన్లలో పెరుగుదలను చూపుతోంది.

అయితే ఈ మాత్రం కలెక్షన్ల వల్ల ఈ సినిమా హిట్‌గా అనిపించుకోవడం కష్టమే. ఈ సినిమా ఈ వీకెండ్‌లో భారీ స్థాయిలో వసూళ్లు సాధించి, ఆ తరువాత రాబోయే వారం రోజులలో కూడా మంచి వసూళ్లను కొనసాగించాలి. అప్పుడే మొత్తంగా బ్రేక్ ఈవెన్ మార్కును సాధిస్తుంది.

Nagarjuna’s spy action thriller The Ghost was released in the theatres on October 5, coinciding with the festival of Dussehra. The film clashed with Chiranjeevi starrer political thriller GodFather at the box office. While the former has been received with a good response, the latter has had a shockingly terrible start.

The Nagarjuna fans expected The Ghost will be a comeback film for Nagarjuna because right from the first look, teaser, and trailer every promotional material from the movie looked very fresh and interesting.

And after watching the film fans were very happy that Nagarjuna has attempted a Hollywood kind of action thriller, and they expected that the film will do good revenue at the box office after being released during the festival season.

But Shockingly the film failed at the box office, The openings were terrible, to say the least, and word of mouth also didn’t spread as it had to. So there was no raise in the collections and if we look at 3 days collections the worldwide share is less than 4 crore which is pathetic.

By looking at the disastrous trend of collections even Akkineni fans are feeling that the audience has completely boycotted Nagarjuna’s films.

Now fans are saying that Nagarjuna should take a break and try to come back with mass or family entertainers. At one point in time, Nagarjuna was no1 in senior Heros as he delivered classical hits like Manam, Oopiri, and pure mass entertainer Soggade Chinni Nayana.

But after that, he lost track and his films flopped continuously, he’s struggling to bring audience to the theaters.

Godfather 3 days collections lesser than Khaidi No 150 1st day

Khaidi No 150 was Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film and as expected, the movie created massive records on opening day and collected a share close to Rs35Cr. His next film Syeraa Narasimha Reddy collected more than Rs 45Cr share and Acharaya collected more than Rs30Cr share on opening day.

But Godfather has failed to give big openings like these films and crossed Rs 30Cr share mark on day3 which is pathetic. Its 3 days collection is lesser than Khaidi No 150 opening day numbers. The film held good occupancies on day2 and day3 when compared to Day1 which is a good sign for the makers.

But when we compared it to Chiranjeevi’s recent films or Top stars collections, Godfather is nowhere near. The film needs a steady run at the box office at least for 2 weeks to break even. Prior to the movie’s release, Chiranjeevi expressed great confidence on the film. Godfather opened to positive reviews and has been steadily showing improvement.

But this steady improvement won’t be enough to classify it as a hit. The film needs to score big on this weekend and keep up decent numbers on weekdays as well.

Mohan Raja has directed this remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’. The original starred Mohanlal and Prithviraj played a cameo. Nayantara is in a key role alongside Satyadev and Malayalam actor Indrajith Sukumaran. Salman Khan is playing an extended cameo in this project.

So as per his latest decision, Thaman is now demanding 4Cr – 5Cr remuneration for a film, and the makers have no hesitation to give that remuneration to Thaman because he is the number one music director in the Telugu industry now.

For his upcoming films like SSMB28, Boyapati – Ram he is taking more than 4Cr remuneration as per the sources.

Normally when a star hero film is released, the makers will plan the film release in such a way that it gets the best possible numbers on the first day. Be it any star hero, huge theatres will be allotted without any delay.

But that’s not the same with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest movie Godfather. The movie is a big film and being a star hero’s movie after a long time and that too releasing for a Festival season, everyone expected a huge release but surprisingly the film got a very less number of theaters.

If another star hero releases his movie in competition with Godfather we can understand if it gets fewer theaters. But here there is no competition for the movie as The Ghost and Swathimuthyam are considered small films.

Mega fans are feeling that if any other producer who is aware of proper marketing and theaters management had produced Godfather then the movie would’ve got a very big release.

But NV Prasad failed miserably in handling the release of the movie and due to this movie was released in a very less number of theatres. And what’s more shocking is Godfather has not been released in the main territories for Telugu markets like Australia, the UK, Chennai, and some overseas countries.

Even after the movie got positive talk the number of shows has not increased which is very unusual. The teaser of much awaited mythological drama ‘Adipurush’, which was released a few days ago has been getting a lot of trolls and criticism. Apart from getting bashed for its poor quality of graphics, director Om Raut and team were also criticized for not showcasing Lord Ram, Sita, Ravana, and Hanuman conventionally like earlier films.

Prabhas will be seen as Lord Ram in Adipurush while Kriti Sanon will play the role of Sita and Saif Ali Khan is going to be seen as Ravana.

Normally when the audience responds negatively about any promotional content, the makers or directors of those films overcome those remarks by saying that after the film’s release opinions will be good, or they just say that it was agenda-based negative publicity for their movie from someone who doesn’t like them.

Like this, they will blame others but never try to overcome that negativity. But the Adipurush team hasn’t done the same.

Adipurush teaser has received a unanimously negative response for its bad VFX and uncommon portrayal of Lord Ram and Ravana, The team understood the situation very quickly and started damage control.

Adipurush team latest has screened the 3D teaser in theatres in India wide and after watching the teaser in the 3D version, the audience response has changed, movie lovers and critics have also expressed that the experience in 3D will change everyone’s opinion about the Adipurush team’s efforts.

At the time of screening, the Adipurush team attended the interviews and explained about each thing how they worked and what would be the difference between 2D to 3D. By acting quickly and spontaneously they made all negative responses into a super positive ones, and with this promotional strategy the movie created a massive buzz.

Mythri Movies confirms the release date of NBK107 to distributors

Tollywood senior hero Nandamuri Balakrishna has scored a blockbuster hit with Akhanda, which was released in December month of last year. The action entertainer which marks the hattrick combination of Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu was well received by the audience and it became the career highest grosser of Balakrishna. The mass hero joined hands with Gopichand Malineni for his next movie, touted as an action entertainer which is tentatively titled NBK107.

Though the movie’s shooting was halted multiple times for some reasons, the unit managed to get things going on at a good pace. Thaman S who gave a terrific background score for Akhanda is working with Balakrishna again in NBK107 and fans are expecting him to repeat the same magic for the upcoming film. The teaser that was released on Balakrishna’s birthday had an electrifying bgm.

The film was slated for Dussera release but as said above due to the multiple postponements in the shooting and some changes in the script, the movie team changed their plans and there were rumors that NBK107 will be released for Sankranthi – 2023.

But as per the latest news, producers have informed the distributors that NBK107 will release on Dec 23 and Mega154 For Sankranthi. Balakrishna also wants to release his film on Sankranthi, but as both Mega 154 and NBK107 movies are produced by Mythri makers they do not want any clash with their movies.

NBK107 is helmed by Gopichand Malineni and stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead. For the first time, Shruti Haasan is paired with Balakrishna. After Raviteja’s super hit movie Krack, Shruti Haasan and Gopichand Malineni are working together again.
