Tollywood ace producer Dil Raju has decided to fight it out the hard way with Mythri Movie Makers. And the battleground will be Sankranti 2023, where both the production houses will release their big-ticket movies.
While Mythri is coming up with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, Dil Raju is releasing Vijay’s Varisu as Varasudu in Telugu and Ajith’s Thunivu as Thegimpu. However, after Mythri Movie Makers announced their two films for the festival, he is planning to get as many as theaters possible for his films.
In a recent interview, a point was clearly stated Dil Raju that “If you are a distributor you have to ask exhibitors or other distributors for the theaters” I have planned to do the same in Tamil Nadu as I am not getting enough Theaters for Varisu there. Here still Mythri movies team have not met me or requested me for the theaters so how can I provide my theaters to me when my own film is releasing he said.
This is definitely a valid point by Dil Raju and now everyone is thinking will Mythri team try to meet Dil Raju and request for the theaters in Nizam and UA or not.
It all started when Mythri Movies decided not to give their movies to Dil Raju for Nizam distribution. Mythri movie makers have set up their own distribution in Nizam, and they have decided to give direct competition to Dil Raju.
On the other hand, Dil Raju has a knack of turning any incident or any situation in a way that all his actions or words sound perfect. He contradicts his comments often and changes his words according to the situations.
In Telugu States he says that distribution and contacts are relevant for the theater’s allocation, but in Tamil Nadu Dil Raju is saying that he should get more theaters because Vijay is a star hero in Tamil. We should wait and see how many twisting statements will come from him during the release of Varasudu.
