Avatar 2 released on December 16th worldwide had a disappointing 1st week at the global box office with low numbers. Main markets like China were affected by covid didn’t help the movie’s performance either. However, the film witnessed a massive jump on Christmas weekend and has now surpassed the $1 Billion mark at the Box office.
The film is expected to continue the same momentum and the trade is expecting more than $2 Billion in full run. Directed by James Cameroon, Avatar: The Way of Water is the second edition of the Hollywood blockbuster franchise that started with the 2009 smash hit.

Avatar: Way of Water will feature the same cast with the addition of Kate Winslet and Michelle Yeoh. The film is having a great run in India as well and is expected to fetch Rs 250 crores in its complete run.
