SS Rajamouli ‘s directorial Eega (2012) which was released in Hindi as Makkhi – was screened recently at Beyond Fest in the US as part of a series of screenings of the filmmaker’s work at the popular festival.

As we know, Rajamouli’s films have been selected for screening in the famous Hollywood film festival Beyond Fest in America. Beyond Fest is one of the biggest film festivals in Hollywood. A huge number of spectators come to this fest. Some of Rajamouli’s hits have been screened in this celebration.

A Video of the audience’s reaction as they hoot and clap has gone viral on social media. The theatre had both foreigners and Indians as the audiences, who are seen enjoying the quirky revenge story in which a murdered hero reincarnated as a housefly to kill the villain. All the action and comedy sequences received great responses from the audience, and the reaction to the interval bang is a joy to watch.

Director Rajamouli is already famous on a global level. With ‘Eega’ and ‘Baahubali franchises, he lit a light in the world. He received awards and rewards at the international level for those films. Rajamouli’s name also got famous in the Asia Continent Film festivals. The recently released Pan India film ‘RRR’ has doubled its stature.

Starring Samantha, Nani, and Sudeep in the lead role, Eega has MM Keeravani, who has also composed for all of Rajamouli’s movies including Baahubali and RRR.

Even RRR received an overwhelming response at the Beyond Fest 2022, Los Angeles. Following that, his 2012 film, Eega was screened at the fest to a thunderous response.
