It has turned into a movement to re-release old films in 4K resolution. Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Kushi’ has been dropped in theaters this week and the 4K version of ‘Kushi’ was successfully received by his fans and audience as well.
The producer of ‘Tholi Prema’ is also planning something similar affirming to the reports.
According to the inside reports, ‘Tholi Prema’ will be released in theaters on 14th February 2023 as a Valentine’s Day special with a remastered 4K print. The work has already started. They will make soon a proper announcement.
Tholi Prema,’ directed by Karunakaran and released in 1998, is a trend-setting love story. Pawan Kalyan and Keerthy Reddy acted as lovers in the film. Deva’s music was a massive success. Back then, songs like “Ee Manase Se Se,” “Emi Sodhara,” and “Gagananiki Udayam” were favorites for the audience.
Pawan Kalyan’s earnest performance as Balu, the genuine aspect of a middle-class boy and his interaction with family and friends were well captured by the director. Apart from exceptional songs and marvelous love track, tholiprema further has a heart touching sister sentiment too which is still liked by the audience.
Tholi Prema also won a national award for Best Regional Film in Telugu, as well as six Nandi Awards.
Pawan Kalyan has a cult fan base, and they proved it once again today as his iconic film Khushi was re-released and picked up a thundering response.
