Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi re-release was an extraordinary success with fans flooding the internet with their celebration videos and never before euphoria. The re-release took the fans back in time and provided them with a glimpse of vintage Pawan Kalyan, something that they have missed for years.
Not just in hysteria, Kushi re-release also outperformed other re-releases and has now created an all-time record. Kushi has now beaten Jalsa record and merged as the most successful re-release.
Jalsa so far holds the all-time record for re-releases with around 3Cr gross. Kushi has comfortably crossed this number. The early estimates are in the range of 3.5Cr gross worldwide which is extraordinary. Today also the film is expected to perform better with the new year advantage.
The romantic drama, which was released in 2001, became a huge trendsetting blockbuster at the time, bringing a cult following to Pawan Kalyan among the audience. Producer AM Ratnam also stated that it is not a one-day release, and they will try to fill the shows in the gap between the new releases
