After taking a leave from the direction for three years, reports carry it that A R Murugadoss is planning on returning to filmmaking. It comes across that the director is keen on taking ahead the franchise of one of his biggest blockbusters Ghajini.

Murugadoss was known for making commercial films with a blend of social message. Had many blockbusters in his career like Dina, Ghajini, Thuppaki, and Katthi.

After that Murgudoss faced Continuos disasters and after Darbar, he did not start any films. He was supposed to do a movie with Vijay but it got shelved for some unknown reasons. Now it is being said that Murugadoss is currently busy with Ghajini sequel script works. The script is almost finished and is in the final stage. Nowadays audiences is liking franchises and sequels so they will have a huge craze now. This means if the Ghajini sequel is materialized then it will be one of the craziest projects in Indian cinema for sure.

Although there has been no confirmation from either party, it will be interesting to see what the sequel to this action thriller has in store for the audience.

It is known that Ghajini was also remade in Hindi by the same title with Aamir Khan playing the lead along with Asin repeating her role as Kalpana in both versions. The role of Jiah Khan was done by Nayanthara in the Tamil version that was released in 2005. If Ghajini 2 materializes, it will be the third project of Suriya and A R Murugadoss after Ghajini and 7aam Arivu released in 2011.

While it is being said that the Ghajini sequel too will feature Suriya in the lead, it also remains to be seen if Ghajini 2 will be a new story or if will it be a continuation of the first part. However, an official confirmation is yet to come about this movie.

Controversies and criticisms have been coming around the movie ‘Adipurush’ for a few days. The teaser of this mythological film starring young rebel star Prabhas was released recently. Netizens have trolled extensively saying that the VFX works are very bad. On the other hand, there are complaints that this movie has hurt the sentiments of Hindus.

There was a trend on social media to ban this movie by expressing objections to Adipurush. In this order, news came that some people have gone to the Delhi High Court.. and after investigating this, notices have been issued to Prabhas and the makers.

Legal notice for criminal action has been sent out to the Film “Adipurush” producer and artists against hurting the spiritual sentiments of Hindus. The legal notice has been sent by High Court advocate Ashish Rai on behalf of the National Cine Worker Union (NCWU).

The legal notice has been sent to filmmaker Om Raut, Bhushan Kumar T-Series, actor Saif Ali Khan, actor Prabhas, and actress Kriti Sanon. Under the notice, it is mentioned that the Hindu religion has been insulted by the producers and artists.
