Tollywood box office has gotten off to a great start in 2023 with movies running to either packed houses or great occupancies in most places. The new year spirit and weekend coinciding have reduced great walk-ins for movies playing all across the Telugu states.
Dhamaka, 18 Pages, Avatar2, and Kushi re-release have all caught the fancy of movie lovers and theatres are packed with audiences. Dhamaka is a jackpot for all the business parties involved while 18 Pages is on its way to registering better collections today as compared to its day 1.
Coming to Avatar 2, the film has already crossed the $1 billion mark at the global box office. It picked up a great pace since the Christmas weekend. The film is also on its way to Rs 100 crores collections from the Telugu states.
Kushi re-release also outperformed other re-releases and has now created an all-time record. Kushi has now beaten Jalsa record and merged as the most successful re-release. Kushi had a terrific day for its re-release and collected in range of 3.5Cr gross worldwide which is extraordinary. Today also the film is performing well with the new year advantage.
