Finally Actress Sai Pallavi signs a new project

Actress Sai Pallavi has not signed any new film after her last theatrical release Gargi, fans were worried that there was no news of her since few days, however their long wait has ended it seems.

According to the latest reports, Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi, who became the favorite pair of the Malayalam and even other language audience with Alphonse Putren’s Premam, are reuniting. Fans are very delighted to know that George and Miss Maler will reunite after eight years. Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi will be seen as a pair in their new film Thaaram.

Everyone loved Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi’s chemistry in the movie Premam. The film was remade in Telugu in which Naga Chaitanya played the main lead role, while they continued the other actresses as it is from the original film, Sai Pallavi was replaced by Shruthi Haasan.

Vivek Ranjith is writing the screenplay for Nivin and Sai Pallavi’s Thaaram directed by Vinay Govind after Kili Poi and Kohinoor. Vinay Fort, Nikhila Vimal, Kayadu Lohar, Krishna Shankar, Namitha Krishnamurthy will appear in other characters in the film.

The film is being produced by Listyn Stephen and Polly Junior Pictures under the banner of Magic Frames. The film is said to be set in the backdrop of Manali.

Mohan lal’s classic blockbuster old film Spadikam has re-released on the last weekend and the movie has collected 3.6 Crores gross worldwide, which is a sensational feat. The film is 28 years, and the response to its re-release is outstanding. The film has collected 2.3 Crores in Kerala and from the rest of territories it gathered 1.3 Crores.

Malayalam movie audience and Mohan lal fans were excited to see Spadikam which was remastered with 4K technology and what was more surprising as the film has secured more numbers than the new release of mohan lal.

Mohanlal’s first film of 2023 was the recently released Shaji Kailas movie ‘Alone’, the film was a critical and commercial flop. So, the success Spadikam’s re-release has proved the stardom of Mohan lal is intact, and he can still deliver a blockbuster with good content.

Bhadran directed the 1995 movie and was one of the biggest hits of Mohanlal’s career. The director revealed in a recent interview that the remastered version will have an additional 8.5 minutes of new footage. He further said that they reshot the iconic opening sequence of the movie and added that he wants people to experience the remastered version on the big screen.

This will be the first time a remaster of a Malayalam movie gets a worldwide release, previously Mohanlal’s 2000 action blockbuster Narasimham was too remastered, but it was merely a small-time release in Dubai.

RRR and KGF 2 movies almost released at the same period and KGF2 won the battle at the box office with a margin of 50 Crores around. RRR raised over 1150 Crores gross worldwide and KGF 2 compiled over 1200 Crores Gross worldwide. Trade Circles and the industry people never expected the RRR film to overtake the lead, even after it was released in Japan.

Now with Japan collections, RRR crossed KGF2 movie’s final collections. Until now RRR has collected around 60 Crores gross in Japan and became the all-time Top-3 grosser in Indian movies after Dangal, Baahubali 2. If we exclude China’s collections, the top 2 grossers belong to SS Rajamouli.

Right from the time of its first look release, Nani’s Dasara was compared to Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. Many felt that Nani’s look and feel of the movie has been heavily inspired by Allu Arjun’s pan-India film. In fact, the rugged look of Nani, his hairstyle, and his rural costume design all looked too similar to the Sukumar project.

Dhanush’s Vaathi (Sir) carrying positive reports from industry circles

Dhanush will be next seen in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual drama ‘Vaathi’ aka ‘Sir’ and the film is slated to hit the big screens on February 17. The Tamil and Telugu trailers of ‘Vaathi’ were released a few days back by the makers, and the interesting trailer raised the expectations for the film.

Now, the latest report suggests that the film has been made very well. The team had arranged a special show of the film for some industry people and the response is unanimously positive. This is the first time that director Venky Atluri has attempted a mass commercial film with a social message.

Meanwhile, ‘Vaathi’ pre-release event will happen in Hyderabad on February 14. Dhanush, who recently visited Hyderabad for the Telugu trailer launch of ‘Vaathi’ aka ‘Sir’, will be once again visiting the city for the pre-release event.
