Despite failures, the budgets in Telugu film industry are continuously increasing

The Telugu film industry has given several landmark pan-India projects in recent years and many others are in the pipeline. With the Baahubali franchise, Tollywood set a benchmark in terms of grandeur and big releases. Needless to say, Baahubali required a massive budget and it did pay off in terms of massive collections world over.

Telugu film industry has also seen movies like RRR, Radhe Shyam, Saaho, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, and Pushpa among others which required big budgets. While some movies gave great returns, others didn’t.

The success ratio in the industry is very less and recently most of the tier 2 Heros have failed at the box office. Even top hero films also struggled but the producers are not compromising on budgets. The main reason is non-theatrical rights even medium-budget films are Doing more than 40Cr business.

In the Telugu industry, 60Cr – 70Cr has now become a medium-budget film. For big star films the minimum budget is 200Cr now as heroes themselves are taking close to 100Cr remuneration. This has put the producers in a fix as the success rate still remains low while budgets are growing day by day.

Natural star Nani repeating the same mistake often

Natural Star Nani is knowingly or unknowingly repeating the same mistake often. Nani is ready to release his current film Dasara and been busy with promotions. Generally, he’s known for picking up different stories and encouraging new directors in Telugu Film Industry. He’s very positive of his films and usually speaks high about those films in the promotional events.

For the recent films like Shyam Singha Roy and Ante Sundaraniki Nani looked overconfident before the release and affirmed that the films will be super hits. However, the result of both the films has disappointed him after the release.

Shyam singha Roy was a successful film, but it just achieved the breakeven mark and his last film Ante Sundaraniki was a failure. Even in social media the netizens have trolled Nani for his comments before the release that he talked so much, but the film doesn’t have many significant elements in it.

Nani was more disappointed with Ante Sundaraniki’s response and its box office performance. Now for his latest film Dasara too he is making the same mistake by saying the movie is already massive success, and he is assuring that no need of all the best and audience can congratulate him instead. We hope this time his confidence will work at the box office too for Dasara.

Recently in the promotional event Nani was asked about the offensive word in the trailer, to which he stated that the usage of the phrase ‘Banchat’ has a different purpose and meaning than that of the original abusive word. He was also asked whether the film will repeat the magic of ‘RRR’, ‘KGF2’ and ‘Pushpa’ to which Nani pointed out that in terms of subject and imagination, it can be compared with them but not with their costs and other factors.

Jagapathi Babu:

Actor Jagapathi Babu’s comments created a big controversy

Telugu Film Actor Jagapathi Babu has landed in a new controversy. His comments in the recent interview are creating a big uproar and the caste (Kamma) people are not accepting this, and they are firing on Jagapathi Babu in social media for his statements.

During an interview with a media channel, Jagapathi Babu recalled an incident which happened 15 years ago. He visited Siddhartha College in Vijayawada, supposedly for a movie promotion. When he told the principal that he will talk against the caste. Principal warned him not to speak like that because he is one person and there are approx 2000 students who are caste extremists.

Jagapathi Babu said that the principal mentioned to him that if he gives any statement against caste, then they will make him into pieces. The video byte from the interview has gone viral in social media since yesterday.

The people of the community are not at all happy with the comments of Jagapathi Babu. They are saying that it is okay if he wants to stay apolitical and unconcerned with caste. It is admirable that as a well-known actor he has no regard for caste, but they’re saying that in a way he is also, whether or not knowingly, defaming the community and serving as a a disinformation tool against it.

All communities, including the kamma community, struggle with caste extremism. Though things have recently gotten better, the problem continues to occur. However, an entire community has been purposefully alienated and defamed for political purposes.

There is deliberate publicity against the kamma community that denigrates the people without cause, which is deeply saddening the other people in the group who are not part of this caste extremism or hatred.

Overall, it appears like Jagapathi Babu has made a mistake of generalizing about incidents that occurred 15 to 20 years ago. He should have considered whether the circumstances or experiences from so long ago still have value now.

RRR – KGF 2:
