Only 30–40 day’s call sheets will work now for Pawan Kalyan’s demand and market

Normally, in the Telugu Film Industry, Star Heroes will quote the remuneration according to the movie. For example, a hero’s remuneration for a total movie like 60 Crores, 70 Crores or 100 Crores, depending on the subject and call sheets of hero. But Pawan Kalyan is now quoting for a call sheet basis remuneration, like for a single day call sheet he is demanding over 2 Crores Remuneration.

So, 75 days or 100 day’s call sheets will not work for Pawan Kalyan’s market and demand now. So, he is signing only those kinds of movies for which he can allot maximum 40 days of call sheets. There by he can gather massive money in limited working days.

If we observe the latest film choices of Pawan Kalyan films, he is selecting scripts which require less working days of him. Pawan will work for Tamil Film Vinodhaya Sitham remake, which would be directed by renowned actor/director Samuthirakani. Another film with young director Sujeeth will also have limited runtime for his character.

Vinodhaya Sitham which features Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej in lead roles, had its formal launch in People Media Factory office. The launch event was graced by Samuthirakani, Trivikram, Thaman, TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibhotla and others.

The film will be made as a fantasy comedy, and Samuthirakani will direct it. The unit began the regular shoot today. It is heard that Ketika Sharma and Priya Prakash Varrier are the female leads in this big film. People Media Factory in association with Zee Studios produces this film, which will have the tunes of Thaman S.

The unit shared a video from sets as they called a pack up of Custody. Naga Chaitanya took to social media and shared a video from sets as he announced the wrap-up of Custody. The video begins with the director saying “Cut, Chay you are released from Custody,” and shifts to Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty. The lead actors ended the video saying, “Only to take you all to Custody on May 12. See you in theaters.

The video shows the entire team celebrating the finish of Custody with joy. Sharing the video on social media, Chay wrote, “And that’s a wrap for Custody, see you all in theaters May 12th … It’s been such a fun time working with all of you.”

The first look of Naga Chaitanya from the film was issued long ago and after that, there was not much revealed from the film. The actor will be seen in the role of a police officer in the film. He looked fierce and unstoppable in the first look. Custody will be the first Telugu-Tamil bilingual drama of this actor, who is called fondly by his fans as Yuva Samrat. The project will further mark the director’s Telugu debut.

Krithi Shetty is the female lead. It’s the second collaboration of Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty, as they have already worked together on the blockbuster film Bangarraju. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, Pavan Kumar is presenting this ambitious project.

Legendary father-son duo Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja are the music composers of the film. This will be their first association as music composers for a film.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan is in the USA for promotions of the RRR Oscar campaign. The film has received accolades worldwide with the western media going gaga over SS Rajamouli’s vision and power-packed action sequences from the film. Sundeep Kishan’s pan-India project Michael released earlier this month and failed to win the audience’s love and emerged as a box-office failure. The film was well appreciated for certain technical elements but didn’t succeed in drawing audience to the theatres. Michael is now up for its digital premiere on Aha.

Michael is the story of an orphan who joins and rises the ranks in a gangster world. The situations turn against him and how he encounters them is what the movie follows. Michael was released with very good expectations because of the good star cast and trailer but the film was completely washed out because talk is disastrous

The film also starred Vijay Sethupathy in key roles with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Divyansha Kaushik, Gautham Menon, and Varun Sandesh also featuring prominently. Ranjit Jeyakodi directed this Pan India film and produced by Bharat Choudary and Pushkar Ram. The film was released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.

Looks like the poor run of Akhsay Kumar movies at the Bollywood box office is not going to end soon. After the disastrous performance of his last few films Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, Cutputli, and Ram Setu, the Bollywood star placed a lot of hopes on his multistarrer film Selfiee.

But the advance booking trends are quite disappointing to say the least. The movie is releasing today and the bookings are disastrous, especially considering it’s a film from a Bollywood A-lister like Akshay Kumar. The film’s advance ticket sales are just around 8K from national multiplex chains which is shocking to the Selfiee team and the entire Bollywood.

Selfiee is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam superhit film Driving License which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. This Bollywood remake stars Emraan Hashmi alongside Akshay Kumar.

The entire unit of the film tried large-scale promotions for the film and even roped in the likes of Salman Khan, Tiger Shroff, and other stars. But clearly, that tactic has failed to evoke the audience’s interest.

Now, everything boils down to the walk-in audience and the film’s initial talk. If content clicks, we’ll see footfalls increasing during evening and night shows. After Pathaan’s blockbuster performance, everyone believed that Bollywood is back on its success track. But the failure of Kartik Aryan’s Shehzada (remake of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo) and now the cold response to another remake i.e. Selfiee, it appears the rough days have still not ended.
