Rajamouli’s Magnum Opus RRR, in which Ram Charan and NTR starred in the lead roles, has been the Sensational film with record collections at the World Box Office and also receiving critical acclaim.
RRR has made the latest headlines with the hungama and craze around its Oscars nominations. If the film will get nominated, if nominated it will bring the award or not, all these discussions are taking place among the movie-goers.
At the Filmmakers Adda 2022, director SS Rajamouli opened up on doing a sequel to his 2022 hit RRR. The director said he wasn’t keen on creating a sequel earlier, but has worked on the script of the RRR sequel.
“RRR sequel happening, initially we dabbled with the idea of part 2, we had some good ideas but never a great one, so we left it at that, then recently about a few weeks back, one great idea stuck we thought we have to make this, at present we are just at the writing stage, so I have to write it then only I can talk about it”.
Also, during the Filmmaker’s Adda 2022, when directors were asked what is the secret of making a successful film, SS Rajamouli said that understanding the audience and building a connection with them is necessary, getting too comfortable with the audience or assuming them will never help.
Meanwhile, Director Rajamouli’s RRR is receiving accolades in the country and abroad. The film is doing well everywhere they released it, is also dusting off foreign awards. RRR was recently nominated in the Best Foreign Film category at the 80th Golden Globe Awards.
The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ was nominated in the Best Original Song category. RRR music director MM Keeravani won the Best Original Score Award at the Boston Society of Film Critics earlier.
