NTR and Ram Charan are continuing to win accolades and attention even after almost one year of RRR release. While RRR might have failed to get nominated for Oscars in the best film, direction, and acting department, NTR and Ram Charan have now found a place in another prestigious award- The critics Choice Super Award.
The two stars have been nominated for Best Actor in the Action Movie category. Hollywood superstars Tom Cruise, Nicolas Cage, and Brad Pitt are the other stars to be nominated in this category. While Tom Cruise has been nominated for Top Gun, Brad Pitt was nominated for Bullet Train and Nicholas Cage was shortlisted for The Unbearable Weight of Great Talent.
This is indeed a massive achievement considering the star-studded company Tarak and Charan are in. RRR has already won accolades for best film and director across various award shows. While Naatu Naatu has won Golden Globes and is the frontrunner for the Oscars as well. Both NTR and Charan being nominated for this award has heightened the probabilities for another RRR win and it needs to be seen what’s in store next for the Tollywood stars.
RRR has also been nominated for Best Action Movie along with Hollywood blockbusters like Top Gun.
