Kantara releasing in two international markets, Will it work?

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has been a landmark project in his career bringing him great acclaim and box-office success. Now, the director is getting ready to release this film in two international markets. The makers, Hombale Films have announced that this film will now release in Italian and Spanish soon.

It will be interesting to see how this film fares in completely contrasting markets in Italy and Spain. Directed by Rishab Shetty who acted in the lead role as well, this small film has done the unthinkable by getting extraordinary reviews and box-office records both at once. Very few films have achieved both.

After Karnataka, the highest collection for this action thriller came from Telugu states. The success of this movie has once again proved that content is the biggest factor behind any project’s success.  

Now Kantara is an all-time top-grosser in Sandalwood. Records like top share and top footfalls in Karnataka all lie with this action thriller. The film has crossed mighty KGF2 gross numbers and shares in Karnataka. It has to be seen how the theatrical release in Italian and Spanish is received.

Kantara also features Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, and Sapthami Gowda in supporting roles
With such humungous success, there are talks of Kantara 2 and Rishab Shetty has also hinted about his plans for a grand sequel.

Dasara story has similarities With Allu Arjun’s Arya 2

The latest inside reports have at it that the story of Nani’s upcoming film Dasara will be very much similar to Allu Arjun’s Arya 2 as the triangular love track of two friends loving the same will be present in Dasara as well. However, the consequences of this triangle story would differ from the former film.

Arya 2 goes in the entertainment mode mixed with emotions, but Dasara is said to be made on a high-end mass tone and emotional moments. The trailer of Dasara already gave an obvious hint that the film will feature in a never before role with high intense taking.

Dasara’s story is said to be linked between 4 main characters that are the hero, the hero’s friend, the heroine, and the villain. Especially the character of the hero’s friend is reported to be very crucial to the film and the emotional aspect around his role is said to be the highlight of the film.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara’s music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan and Sathyan Sooryan ISC handled cinematography. Navin Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer of the film, and Vijay Chaganti is the executive producer. Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer.

The film stars Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Samuthirakani, Zarina Wahab, Sai Kumar and Rajsekhar Aningi. The film is set to be released in theaters on March 30 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film is set against the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Ramagundam’s Godavarikhani of Telangana.

Success in the industry is a combination of multiple factors. Gone are the days when just scoring a hit was enough for stardom. Both Bunny and Chiranjeevi definitely put in all the hard work but they also combine it with smart marketing and publicity techniques to raise their brand. With the disastrous result, Kabzaa sequel plans likely to be pushed

Upendra and Sudeep starrer pan-India film Kabzaa opened this week to disastrous collections and poor reviews. The pan-India film also starred Shriya and Shivarajkumar in key roles and couldn’t manage to make any impact at the box office.

Kabzaa team had planned a KGF-like theme and the sequel was announced way before. Even in the movie, the story writers had created enough scope for a sequel but nothing excited the audienceu. And the movie is now heading towards a big disaster.

The film has collected around 20Cr gross in 2 days and from other languages the collections are negligible. The movie has been shot on a massive budget with top stars and even the star cast failed to attract the audience to the theatres

From the looks of it, the extremely poor reception of the first part can only mean shelving of the second part. For a pan-India project with a huge budget, it is important to have a successful part 1 as we saw in the case of Baahubali, KGF, and Pushpa. But with Kabzaa failing to create any interest, there would be very few takers for the sequel.

There were many reports had emerged in the recent days that the title has been fixed for SSMB28, one of the craziest films in the Telugu Film Industry. The inside reports almost confirmed that the title and first look of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s Film will be revealed on the occasion of Ugadi festival.

However, it is being said that the wizard of words, Trivikram is not rushing to fix the title of the film. So, he is taking very care of the title, he had thought of a few titles also, but now it appears that he wants to take some more time to think and most probably the title of the film will not be released for Ugadi and only Mahesh Babu’s glimpse would release on the day.

SSMB28 is the third film in the combination of Mahesh Babu Trivikram. The idea of Trivikram and Mahesh reuniting after 12 years itself has made fans and audience to have massive expectations on this project. Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela will appear as the female leads in this project directed by Trivikram.

Thaman S will compose music for this prestigious project and for him, also it will be the third outing with Trivikram after Aravinda Sametha, Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo. Naveen Nooli will handle the editing duties, while Haarika and Haasinie Creations are backing the project.

NTR fans counter Hyper Aadi at Das ka Dhamki pre-release event

Das Ka Dhamki pre-release event was an interesting one and the atmosphere was electrifying with NTR making an appearance as the chief guest. The event saw NTR fans lining up outside Shilpakala Vedika hours in advance to catch a glimpse of their idol. While the event was about Vishwak Sen and Nivetha Pethuraj starter, NTR was surely the highlight.

As Das ka Dhamki pre-release event progressed, the chants of NTR’s name grew louder and louder and the venue exploded in excitement with Tarak’s entry. Another highlight of the evening was Hyper Aadi’s speech. While it was not the speech that made noise, it was the reaction from NTR fans when the Hyper Aadi started to speak.

Fans continuously chanted Tarak’s name and didn’t allow the speech to start. Hyper Aaadi is a fierce supporter and fan of Pawan Kalyan. On several occasions, he has declared Power Star as the numero uno in every aspect and these roaring chants of NTR’s name were a response to all the statements Aadi made in the past.

When one praises only one hero excessively, definitely other hero fans will get excited and troll and counter you. Hyper Aadi is facing the same heat from other fandoms now.
