NTR – Allu Arjun multistarrer in talks

With the success of RRR, Pushpa The Rise Young Tiger NTR and Icon Star Allu Arjun have raised their stardom to another level. Now the latest reports suggest that these two superstars will be part of a huge Bollywood multistarer movie.

The Bollywood circles have almost confirmed that NTR and Allu Arjun are in consideration for the pan-India mythological epic, The Immortal Ashwatthama. This high-budget biggie will be directed by the National Award-winning Bollywood director Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios.

This highly anticipated science fiction film, The Immortal Ashwatthama, has been on the news for a while now. The film was supposed to feature Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, but it was left out because of a lack of progress.

At first, it was reported that Bollywood star Ranveer Singh had replaced Vicky Kaushal as head of the Immortal Ashwatthama. However, recent reports reveal that even Ranveer is out of the film now, and the film will land in the hands of NTR and Allu Arjun. On the other hand, Samantha is said to be the front-runner to play the female lead in this massive project.

On Saturday, the producers of Pawan Kalyan’s next movie OG shared a video on social media announcing that the shooting has started in Mumbai. Powerstar will start working on the movie’s sets next week.

It’s a known fact that good promotional content can raise the buzz more than star combinations. In recent times, there have been a lot of movies that failed to create buzz because of promotional content.

Only Dasara in recent times has managed to woo the audience with good posters, teasers, and songs creating a massive buzz. The same was the case with Uppena released in 2021 which created a tremendous buzz because of Devi Sri Prasad’s music. Now, after a long time, we have Pawan Kalyan’s OG whose every single promotional content and announcement has created a huge stir online.

The announcement of the title and shooting update of the film was released yesterday and received a unanimously positive response. Sujeeth is putting all the effort into his idol Pawan Kalyan and fans are on cloud nine because of the quality of his work.

The video depicted the theme of the movie with various weapons and bullets being fired around. Directed by Sujeeth, who last directed Saaho starring Prabhas is keen to make a strong comeback with this Powerstar starter action project. The movie is being bankrolled under the DVV Entertainment banner. The film’s cast and crew will be revealed soon and there are extremely high expectations for the film.

Vetrimaaran’s Vidudhala opens with good numbers

Vetrimaaran, the critically acclaimed and award-winning director has made films like Visaranai, Asuran, Kaaka Muttai, etc. is regarded as one of the efficient filmmakers in the South Indian Cinema. His latest offering is Viduthalai (Part 1) in Tamil, which was released on 31st March and became a super hit. The film was appreciated by the audience and critics as well.

Two weeks later, the movie has been dubbed as Vidudhala Part 1 in Telugu and was released yesterday. The film portrays a comedian Soori as the protagonist and Vijay Sethupathi in the second lead role.

Vidudhala opened with good numbers in Telugu states and the film has collected more than 1 Crore gross on the opening day. The film has been released by Allu Aravind in a very good number of screens, and it has received good word of mouth from the audience, which is reflecting in the Collections.

With Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in the lead roles, Viduthalai, the crime-action thriller, was released on March 31st and garnered plenty of positive reviews. Directed by Vetrimaaran, the film is a realistic police Vs naxal drama which also highlights the social and political issues in the police department. While the film became a massive success, director Vetrimaaran presented the entire ‘Viduthalai’ team with a gold coin as a token of appreciation.

The second part of Viduthalai is scheduled to be released in September. Apart from Soori and Vijay Sethupathi, the film stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, and Bhavani in important roles. The music for the movie is composed by Ilaiyaraaja

Director Siva surprised and shocked everyone with Kanguva

సుధాకర్ చెరుకూరి నిర్మించిన దసరా సినిమాకు శ్రీకాంత్ ఓదెల దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. ధీక్షిత్ శెట్టి, సాయికుమార్, సముద్రఖని, షైన్ టామ్ చాకో, పూర్ణ తదితరులు కీలక పాత్రలు పోషించారు. సంతోష్ నారాయణన్ ఈ చిత్రానికి సంగీత దర్శకుడు. సత్యన్ సూర్యన్ ఐఎస్సీ సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ అందించారు. నవీన్ నూలి ఎడిటర్ గా, అవినాష్ కొల్ల ప్రొడక్షన్ డిజైనర్ గా, విజయ్ చాగంటి ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ ప్రొడ్యూసర్ గా వ్యవహరించారు.

Pawan Kalyan signs another film

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is on a signing spree, and he is presently busy with a number of films in his hand. His close friend and well-known writer, director, Trivikram, is helping him in finalizing new films. Following the success of their last film Bheemla Nayak, Pawan and Trivikram are collaborating again, and a young director has been selected for this movie.

According to the reports, Sudheer Varma will direct the project and the regular shoot of the film will start in next year, probably after the elections. It is also being said that a young hero will also be the part of the film and that hero is none other than Pawan Kalyan’s nephew Vaisshnav Tej.

Trivikram will write the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the film. Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas are the producers. The female lead and the other actors, technicians, are not yet finalised. The makers will make an official announcement soon.

Meanwhile, the production house of Pawan Kalyan’s OG has announced the beginning of shooting yesterday with a video that integrates all the stylistic elements of the movie. Nani’s Dasara dominating this weekend

Nani’s Dasara movie has got an unexpected advantage on this weekend and the film is dominating new releases at the box office. We know that Shaakuntalam and Rudhrudu are the new movies which have been released this Friday.

Both Rudhrudu and Shaakuntalam received poor openings and on Saturday they have completely crashed at the box office, which has helped Dasara to dominate the new releases even on its 3rd weekend. Both Rudhrudu and Shaakunthalam have become massive box office failures.

Shaakuntalam is a period mythological romantic drama, Rudhrudu is a complete action revenge drama. While the trade circles expected Shaakuntalam to perform better because of its genre and star cast, the film failed to impress and became a massive failure. The same can be said about Rudhrudu which was expected to entertain the mass audience has decided disappointed everyone.

The failure of new releases has given an advantage to Dasara and the film can gather some good numbers on today as well. Sometimes audience prefer watching the good movie even if they have already watched it, if they are not interested in the new releases.

The ongoing trend of pan-India movies has resulted in several unique combinations which we couldn’t have imagined a few years ago. Several top heroes are opting for a pan-India image and pushing the producers to make films on a large scale. After the success of some pan-India movies several tier one as well as tier two heroes are demanding pan-India films giving producers sleepless nights.

This demand of heroes is putting a huge burden on makers as the budgets are spiraling out of control. Unfortunately, these films are not even recovering the P&P costs of other languages and in some cases, performing terribly even in original languages. అంతర్జాతీయంగా ప్రఖ్యాతి గాంచిన కాళిదాసు సంస్కృత నాటకం ‘అభిజ్ఞా శాకుంతలం’ ఆధారంగా భారీ బడ్జెట్ తో రూపొందిన శాకుంతలం తమిళం, తెలుగు, హిందీ, మలయాళం, కన్నడ భాషల్లో విడుదల అయింది. 3డిలో కూడా విడుదల అయిన ఈ చిత్రాన్ని శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర క్రియేషన్స్ పతాకం పై దిల్ రాజు సమర్పణలో గుణ టీమ్ వర్క్స్ తో కలిసి నీలిమ గుణ నిర్మించారు.

సమంత నటించిన శాకుంతలం చిత్రానికి గుణశేఖర్ దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. ఇందులో దుష్యంత మహారాజు పాత్రలో దేవ్ మోహన్ నటించగా, ప్రిన్స్ భరతుడిగా అల్లు అర్జున్ కూతురు అల్లు అర్హ నటించారు. అదితి బాలన్, ప్రకాష్ రాజ్, గౌతమి, మధు బాలా, సచిన్ ఖేడేకర్, మోహన్ బాబు, అనన్య నాగళ్ల ఈ చిత్రంలో కీలక పాత్రలు పోషించారు. ఈ చిత్రానికి మణిశర్మ బాణీలు సమకూర్చారు.
